I made an error when booking a trip. I'm writing to thank Duncan, at the call centre, who calmly rectified my booking error and reassured me that a refund would be put in place.

Real adequate, and quick help from Katie when some issues arose while booking trips!

I could not find what I was looking for so I opened a chat and Katie helped me with everything I needed very quickly and nicely!

Duncan helped me by answering all my questions of the differences between the Jucy Crib and the Jucy Chaser. He was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and kind. He will make our trip to New Zealand so much better.

Do not book via them! I booked a reef cruise tour with them but it got cancelled due to strong wind. Everyone else booked on the provider’s official website got their refund immediately however no one from backpackers or travello has been responding to our refund requests!!! Terrible!!!

Was having some trouble with payment and changing dates and Duncan helped me all the way through.

Alan was extremely helpful with the whole booking experience and also threw in a discount code and helped with the cashback and linked me up with Duncan to book my campervan tomorrow using the cashback! Saved me abit of money for more activities and meals. Will update the review again tomorrow after speaking to Duncan and booking the campervan.

Duncan Esplin is a valuable support to your crew. I had a terrible experience with Travello as they forgot to book 1 tour after taking payment and were very slow in refunding another tour that was cancelled by the tour operator. It took 5 weeks for their staff members to process and give me answers. Just a week ago , I had a chat with Duncan and he completed my job within 2 days. I am so happy to have interacted with him.
He is a really good customer service manager.
If Duncan had not helped me , i would never consider to book in with Travello again cause other agents are so horrible and I am glad that they left the company.
