Amazing place to get everything for your little one!

When we were looking into prams we went to Bababoom and Mamas & Papas. It was good that Bababoom had the mamas & papas pram so we were able to compare, we were really impressed with the sales team and also Megan. They were all really helpful in giving us good advice for all the things we bought in there. Recently our Cybex car seat the spring had broke in the part where it clips to the pram and we contacted Bababoom who then got in touch with Cybex who then sent us the part and instructions of how to fix it. Thanks again!

Fantastic Staff and service

I had a fantastic experience at Bababoom from start to finish, they wasn’t pushy when I ‘was just looking’ they asked questions about my lifestyle and needs which helped guide me rather then pushing a promotional item, which is why I went back to purchase from there. The small team of staff are friendly and knowledgeable, communicate really well and make a point of remembering you. This makes the experience personal and much more preferable than buying from a chain store.

Disappointed!

Went in the store in early stages of pregnancy.. liked the store.. thought they did some really nice bits, was told orders take no longer than 4weeks to come in. Went back to order the Egg bundle with Maxi Cosi car seat so not cheap! Done the order on 26th August and was told it will be in by start of October.. did say my due date is 2nd of October and I was assured that.. that would be fine and no ones ever given birth and not had there order on time!
They said if that was the case then they would issue me a loan and said they definitely wouldn't leave me without anything.. they then said the car seat could be in anytime as it was a standard colour.
Had to chase them for car seat as only just managed to get a week before giving birth.. so the car seat wasn't in at anytime.. it took 5weeks to come in.
Then tried telling me in store that my Egg bundle would be in, in the middle of October and I said no im due to give birth at the start of October and that was the date that was agreed, when I signed the paperwork for receiving the car seat, it even said on the order, needed by start of October with a due date..
Constantly chasing for my Egg bundle.. wasn't here before I gave birth.. didn't issue me a loan buggy, just said well you didn't ask.. was still chasing order after I gave birth.
Eventually after I said enoughs enough.. if it wasn't coming in then I'll come and get my money back. They said after multiple messages and people not even getting back to me on the same day.. that they would home deliver it and assured me it would all be there.. this was now Friday 13th October.. delivery came but once again not all the order was there.. was missing the moses basket, the main item that my newborn baby goes in first.. and they wasn't even aware what had been sent out.
They then said before they could chase the order and what hadn't been delivered. I need to find out what package number it was and I said I chucked the packaging away. As I assured it was all there!
I then had to chase their delivery service myself as out of courtesy they couldn't even do that.
Then they said I would get a call back with a tracking number that day.. I got a call saying sorry there was a parcel missing as it was damaged and had been destroyed, but out of courtesy no one let me know, and still no tracking number for moses basket. I then got an email next day with a tracking number. I then had to call again half way through the week saying enoughs enough again! And if it wasn't here next day.. I would be in returning everything!.. they then said.. they wouldn't do next day but Saturday 21st October it would definitely be here. The parcel did eventually arrive. But very disappointed.. took 8weeks for my order to arrive complete, nothing was sent out with my order to say sorry for the inconvenience, anything would of been nice, just out of courtesy to say sorry or dome money back, just anything! Would never order from here again.. more stress than its worth.

I'm having to write this at the bottom of my review otherwise I can't respond to your comment.. firstly I'd like to say.. I never at any point change the car seat choice, it was all ordered at the same time on 26th August and I was never told it was in.. and secondly the middle of October was never discussed! My due date was 2nd October! And thirdly your delivery service should not be down to me to chase.. I'm your customer, I'm buying from you. Anyways I left my comments on the reviews as alot of money spend and very disappointed with the service and would order anything from here again nor would I recommend

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are very sorry to see that you felt a 1 star was warranted.
As you rightly said when customers come in we give an approximate lead time of 4 weeks for orders as until the final items are decided it is impossible to give a more accurate lead time, some will be in stock and some will have a long time frame.
Once you came back and made your final choices you were initially told the car seat was in stock, however after some deliberation you changed your car seat choice and was then advised approximately 4 weeks. I have reviewed your order and can see that your car seat was in on the 28th September and your order was placed on 26th August.
With regards to the pram, you were advised that this was due in to the brand in early to mid October, we never give an exact date as we are not given this and all dates are approximates, I recall your dad suggesting you look at another colour but knowing the approximate lead times you were happy to proceed.
When customers leave it later to place their orders we always reassure that we have loans car seat and base and would never leave you stranded at the hospital unable to get home so I think this is what you are referring to and yes we also have loan strollers but at no point did you request this.
I can see that your pram was dispatched on the 12th October on a next day delivery but unfortunately you did not notify us that DPD had failed to deliver one of the parcels until late on the 16th which we acted on as soon as back in store on the 17th and the missing item was delivered to you on the 20th. I can only apologise that DPD had an issue with one of the items however this is outside of our control and I am pleased to see that we were able to rectify the issue so promptly.

I absolutely love Bababoom

I absolutely love Bababoom. The girls in there are SO helpful, they’re really up to date on their knowledge on new products, and have helped take the stress out of buying all my baby essentials. The Instagram is 10/10 - full of videos demonstrating how to dismantle your prams etc would definitely recommend

What a wonderful shop

What a wonderful shop! My husband and I visited a couple of times, we were assisted by the extremely knowledgeable Megan and Isabella - both so friendly and helpful. Megan spent so much time with us taking us through the different products from car seats, prams, next to me cribs, high chairs - everything! No questions were too much for them, they were honest and we still felt we could make our own decisions on what we wanted with their guidance. We placed an order for all of the main items which we are looking forward to collecting in December when our baby is due - another massive perk of the shop is that due to their independence they can hold onto your orders until you are ready to collect! Overall completely delighted and looking forward to picking up our baby bits in a few weeks. They also offer a discount on your overall order (I’m not sure if this is on all the time) but it was even sweeter to save some money on a big order. Thank you Bababoom, so nice to still have a local and independent baby shop x

The team at Bababoom are truly amazing🩵💖

Trustworthy, reasonable in price, price match and honest with all there products.

I recently visited the store on my own first time mum and Megan took the weight of my shoulders and truly appreciate everything she did for me.

I was trialing out a new buggy and my 5 month old baby was constantly crying she rocked my baby to sleep, cuddled her made her feel safe.

This action of kindness was truly heart warming and so grateful for everything she did, it took a weight of my shoulder to give me chance to view item.

I was clumsy and left item in the store that day, the team held onto the item until returned back to the store weeks later and returned the item to me.

It so nice to feel the team truly care about there customers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much to the team at Bababoom for always going above and beyond.

1–2-1 appt would recommend!

We had a 1–2-1 appointment today with Megan who was so lovely and progressional from start to finish. She really knows her stuff when it comes to all items for sale and advice. She doesn’t try to upsell and gave some really good guidance around the purchases to make around our lifestyle. I would highly recommend.

needed my order urgent paid for next…

needed my order urgent paid for next day delivery paid on sunday so i knew you were closed monday emailed this morning to ask when will it be getting shipped to then recive an email saying my order has been cancled you only tell me this when i email you it never said it was out of stock online needed this for my daughter who's autistic for school run to beable to attatch it to my new pram fuming doesn't cut it wont be using this company ever again and from your other reviews i can see ur quite slow on delivery even when people pay for next day i would avoid if your in urgent need of something.

Hi Collette, thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are obviously disappointed that you felt the need to leave a 1 star review. I have also not been able to find any of the slow delivery reviews you are referring to. Some items, like spare parts do have a 1-4 week lead time in the product description and I am sorry that you had not seen this. As you had needed this urgently you were refunded the next working day and an email sent stating that we were sorry we were not able to assist you on this occasion.
