Helpful with lots of empathy and no rush approach to helping.

Avalon have been great throughout, from my initial call at the time of my wife’s passing, all the way through to collection of ashes and the necessary documentation, following her cremation.

The Avalon staff have been compassionate, caring and extremely professional. No detail was overlooked and the peace of mind that that engendered was invaluable.

We tend to leave things like this, until it is too late, but I am so glad that my wife and I took out our Avalon funeral plans immediately upon our arrival here in Spain. I dare not even contemplate the mess I’d have been in had we not done so.

Highly recommended.

We live in Spain and my husband recently passed away unexpectedly. I was so relieved that he had a funeral plan in place. He had taken it out in 2014 and when it was needed everything was taken care of very efficiently in what could have been a very different situation. The staff were helpful in offering help with translation should I have needed it when dealing with the funeral directors however I was able to do this myself. After my experience I'm very pleased to say that I contacted the company and took out a plan after speaking with Stuart McColgan who explained the options clearly and without any pressure. Following that two of my friends have already bought a plan with three more people about to do so once they have spoken with family members.

I had to give 1 as I was unable to give 0 or lower.
Greedy, insensitive, harassing, soulless.
And that's their good bits.

Notified them on 31st July of my Mother's funeral, and that it was on the 28th August.
On the 12th August they sent a letter asking for additional money. Obviously it went on the back burner as I was arranging everything, and also as the charges being asked for, were for services not yet received. On the 24th they sent another letter stating outstanding balance, and to pay at my earliest convenience as it threatened they may delay the funeral !.
All this over £221.
Vile. Soulless.

Unfortunately my Dad is covered with them, so fear they may be even worse dealing with him.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service we received while arranging my husbands funeral. At such a difficult time, Avalon made the process much easier for us. The compassion and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the arrangements.

Additionally, I recently met with Gavin to discuss my own funeral plans. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all my questions, which really put me at ease while discussing such a sensitive topic. His knowledge and understanding made a significant difference, and I truly appreciate his dedication.

A very professional insightful presentation , not at all pushy , very informative , answered our questions clearly providing pease of mind.

Jay was very knowledgeable. Very clear with all the plans. He didnt speak in technical terms & promoted the company very well.

Jay was very informative and the presentation was easy to understand and to the point. At the end of the meeting I knew that this was the right thing for me to do and it has given me peace of mind.

Alan the rep who came was helpful and informative. He made everything clear and we decided to take out a plan each.

I sent an online enquiry to Avalon and recieved a phone call back the same day to make an appointment.
We were visited by Ashley who was very knowledgable and explained everything clearly.He also gave us time to ask questions.We chose the plan we thought was best suited to us and also because it can be used here in Spain and the UK ,which gives us peace of mind.It was a positive experience and are pleased that we now have a plan in place after putting off doing for the last 2 years !

Alan was an excellent advertisement for Avalon. Knowledgeable and informative,but not pushy at all. He was with us for over two hours in the end, as we spent quire some time talking about life in Spain. I can thoroughly recommend Alan as a representative and if Avalon are half as good, they will be fine.

Down to eath ecplanations, great value for money, plenty oc options for payment. Great to be able to see a person and explain what YOU want. Love the on locker idea, everything in one place !

We obviously haven't had to use our plan yet, but we've signed up for one each (husband/wife). A simple cremation plan.
It was very easy and affordable.
Ashley came to our house and explained everything. It only took about half an hour or so, and there was no 'hard sell'. He left us to think about it, and then came back a few days later to sign up. Again, it only took about half an hour.
We live in Spain so it has given us peace of mind that it's in place.. . in terms of cost and arrangements.
The full cost of the cremation is locked in, and Avalon deals with it all with one phone call.
I would recommend.

No one wants to talk about funerals but it's part of life and as we live in Spain now it was one of the things on our list to be sorted so we looked in to it and chose Avalon the agent that came to see us was Very friendly and informative throughout the meeting they have great funeral plan options too suit everyone with no obligation buy

I have had an Avalon plan for 2 years,I spend winter in Spain, my wife's parents came to visit for 5 weeks,unfortunately my mother in law had a fall and didn't recover from a head injury and passed away in Spain the same day,I thank God that Avalon where at the end of the phone, I was able to gift my funeral plan to her and It took 1 call to get things into place,every member of staff where so professional, companionate and so fantastic it was very humbling, it took a great amount of stress away and my family couldn't thank them enough, also the tanatoria they selected was unbelievable, fantastic service ,if you need dignity, and professional service look no further, thanks to Mike,Stuart, and all of you,much appreciated

Had a meeting this afternoon at my house with jay patel from Avalon to discuss and sign up for my funeral plan.
Jay was very professional and explained everything in detail so it was all easy to understand.
