I would like to give a special thank you to Connie and all at Fosters Kilmarnock for their excellent help as I.ve never had to organise a funeral before but she kept me right was so helpful with everything, kept in touch with me on the phone meaning everything went well & mum got a good send off also a special thank you to Norma Gray for the lovely service she did so thank you again to everyone who made mums day special, Sandra Howie x

We could not have asked for a better funeral director than Fosters’s from the moment we needed them all the staff were amazing they made a difficult time easy to navigate, we were cared for by lynne in Dunfermline who showed much empathy and kindness who directed us to what needed to be done and made the whole service flawless, as did Denis and Donna and Stuart I hope I never have to deal with this again, but if I did I wouldn’t chose anyone but fosters thank you for the care taken of our mother/mother- in-law and the kindness you showed to us.

My mother was cremated on 20th May 2026, and right from the start we, as a family, were treated with respect, compassion, and understanding. Lorraine and Sharon went out of their way to make sure our requests were met, and kept us updated as the process progressed. Nothing was a problem, and we felt very comfortable and relaxed planning the funeral with them. On the day, everything went smoothly and successfully. The drivers were helpful and considerate, and very professional. I highly recommend this company for anyone requiring their services.

From beginning to the end the service i received especially from Lynne , Dawn and Pauline was more than five star , they were brilliant and extremely professional, highly highly highly recommended .

We were very impressed with the excellent service from Lynne at Fosters Dunfermline. Everything was organised perfectly and carried out with real professionalism and compassion. Lynne kept us informed at every stage and was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. As a result, our mum/gran was given a perfect send off, which brought great comfort to us during a very difficult time. Unfortunaltly after my mum passing away i had to sort a cremation i dealt with lynne at the dunferline branch and at such a hard time she was so amazing compasoniate and empathetic aswell as explaing everything to me honestly cant thank her enough for everything

We used Fosters in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire to arrange my Uncles funeral when he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. From the minute we went, Anthea was amazing. She is kind, thoughtful and full of compassion. This was my first time having to fully arrange a funeral myself and Anthea helped us every step of the way. Explained everything so clearly and helped us make decisions on things that we hadn’t really thought about. On the day the limousine driver was fabulous, kind and caring and so accommodating. Thanks to Anthea and Fosters we were able to give my Uncle the send off he truly deserved.

We cannot thank Lynne enough for the care, compassion, and professionalism she showed during such a difficult time. Every detail was handled with dignity and kindness, making the whole process much easier for our family. We are deeply grateful for the excellent service and calm support and guidance she provided our family from start to finish.

We dealt with Lauren who was excellent with dealing with all our wishes for my son. Also the compassion and time spent with us was excellent. Lauren really helped us through this difficult time.

In particular, Gary Stevenson was outstanding throughout the entire process. He was incredibly compassionate, always kind and respectful, and maintained excellent communication from start to finish, keeping us fully updated and reassured at every stage. His support made a huge difference to our family when we needed it most.

Gary took great care of my dad Peter while he was in his care, treating him with dignity and respect, which brought us real comfort. He also handled all the arrangements efficiently and professionally, taking a huge weight off our shoulders and allowing us to focus on saying goodbye.

Fosters in Kilmarnock dealt with my dads funeral in 2023, then they dealt with my mums in April 2026.
Fosters treat you with kindness and compassion.
I dealt with both Lauren and Connie who were very kind and compassionate while taking me through the process which made it easier.
Ordered cars through Fosters also all the drivers were excellent in the service they provided for us.
I thank all the staff for taking such good care of us in this difficult time.

Fosters are a compassionate, and efficient organisation.
I found d that from the start the whole process of my Dad's funeral wishes were dealt with ,with sensitivity but also in a quick and professional manner .They couldn't be more helpful
