From the moment we sat down to discuss funeral arrangements, the service we received was excellent.
The team in the office were caring, supportive and helpful. Communication was friendly and professional, they were always happy to help with any queries and replies were timely. The selected celebrant was wonderful, really supportive and reassuring. The funeral conductor was also brilliant, taking time to discuss final arrangements and listening to a piece of music to accommodate last wishes.
I would highly recommend using this caring, approachable and professional service.

We had a prepaid funeral with all the decisions made in advance. Austin’s followed all the instructions impeccably and took care of my stepfather right up to the funeral and throughout it. They made a very sad occasion into something special handled with great dignity. Thank you for guiding me through the whole process with empathy and understanding.

From Day One, Amanda was fantastic and provided a compassionate, professional service to us at a difficult time, and continued to do so right up to the day of the funeral. Sharon on reception always greeted us with a welcoming smile.
Simon, the conductor was also great, contacting me the day before to confirm all details, and on the day making sure all elements were completed to our satisfaction.
We inadvertently had a humorous moment on the way to the crematorium when the hearse driver went the wrong way and a line of cars followed. This was not in any way a problem to us as it reminded us of a similar event at a funeral we attended in Dover 30 years ago which had caused much hilarity. It was a fitting reminder and couldn't have been planned better!

Everyone we dealt with at Austin’s was kind, friendly, respectful, professional, efficient, informative, not rushed through any part of the process, everything explained to us, we had an amazing experience being dealt with by Austin’s, can’t fault a thing, more than happy with the whole process from start to finish.

From start to finish Austins were really good. Janine was very kind and caring went the extra mile to find the same celebrant lady that done my dads service 6 years ago. Sandra and Amanda were amazing on the phone answering all my questions. It was lovely getting a phone call from Gary the night before funeral which put my mind at ease as to what would happen the next day. Even picking up the ashes the same kind sentiment was there. Thank you Austins for an amazing service and helping me to give my mum the send off she deserved.

Austin’s conducted both my parent’s funerals and both services were beautiful and very well managed. We knew we were in safe hands and didn’t have to worry about any of the arrangements. Through the whole process all the staff showed kindness and compassion. We knew our parents were treated with dignity and respect. And going to see them in the chapel of rest provided us with peace and comfort during such a difficult time. The chapels have such an aura of peace and tranquility. Thank you to Claire and the team.

Lee was fantastic we met him as James was removed from home, he was amazing so asked for him at the funeral. He led the team, and allowed us as a family to carry James. He showed great attention to detail and all our family thought he and the team were fantastic on the day. I would recommend to anyone.

Everyone we came into contact with throughout this whole sad situation was kind compassionate and very professional, having used Austin’s twice within a year for the passing of both our parents, we would highly recommend them
