Had a great experience buying an engagement ring for my now fiancée. It was fair to say I was pretty clueless when it comes to these things but Rosie helped me pick out an amazing ring which my fiancée loves! Would highly recommend!

I had a fantastic in-store experience with Charlotte when purchasing an engagement ring for my long-term partner. My prior knowledge of what goes into the design and build of a ring was sub par (to be kind to myself) but Charlotte was extremely patient and took time to explain the process in it's entirety, and in terminology that I understood. We then discussed what budget I was working, and the general "look" that I felt my partner would like. Once we had this pinned down, she worked through the design process with me to provide an option that looked beautiful and was within the budget I had outlined. She was personal able, yet highly professional, clearly very knowledgeable and communicated clearly in terms of costs, timeframes, procedures around re-fittings/returns etc. The experience felt high-quality, yet the correct level of formality. In terms of post transaction care, Charlotte kept me updated with the order and rang me as soon as it arrived in store. When I arrived to pick it up it was actually a colleague that served me (also extremely kind and polite), but Charlotte made the effort to join us and make sure I was happy with the product. I would absolutely recommend both the organisation and Charlotte as an individual to anyone looking to purchase bespoke jewellery. Thank you.

I received a fantastic service from the team at Austen & Blake when purchasing an engagement ring, and so we went back to purchase our wedding rings. Rosie was our showroom specialist and provided lots of helpful information with great communications throughout. I would highly recommend the team

I went in to see if they had a ring similar to one I had lost, nothing but after speaking to Michael he said let’s make it, we spent ages looking at images and then I found a design, Michael and the team created it and it blew me away when it arrived and it was cheaper than I thought, I can’t Michael enough he is a true star. Had a wonderful experience with A&B and Aliysha in particular. Took my now-fiancée to the Manchester store to work out what the right ring would be, and Aliysha made what I expected to be quite a nerve wracking experience so easy and relaxed that I went back later the same day to place my order.

The whole process from start to finish was really slick and everything happened on the promised schedule. Couldn’t recommend them more highly, the service was impeccable. Thankyou so much!

We bought our wedding rings from Rosie in the King Street store in Manchester. My husband bought my engagement ring from Austen and Blake so we were keen to go back and purchase our wedding rings. After a few meetings with Rosie and discussions over email we went ahead and chose our wedding rings. From start to finish she was absolutely fantastic, really informative and gave lots of advice as I myself was unsure what to go for with my engagement ring. Rosie made us both feel really excited for our big day and so relaxed about everything. Amazing professional service from start to finish. Can’t thank Rosie enough for all her help and guidance.

The service received at Austin & Blake Manchester was excellent. Michael was really helpful in talking me through the ring and specification. Most importantly all communications were all discreet! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing from start to Finish.couldnt be happier

The lady that was looking after me in the store was lovely..anything i asked her wasn’t a problem and when designing the ring she showed me lots of designs and was very helpful in designing mine with me. You can give a price and they will show you exactly what you can get, different styles etc for your budget, if you don’t have a budget you will be in heaven with the amount of choices available. I absolutely love mine…

Charlotte was great and really helped with the whole process and organised a ring in time for me to propose to my fiancé on holiday.

Update:
Unfortunately since then it has been all downhill.

Fiancé loved the ring and stone and we asked for a resize on our return to the UK. This took longer than expected and after requesting an update we were told that the emerald had been cracked when "polishing the ring".

The rest of the staff at Manchester were incredibly difficult to deal with and were very dismissive of this as a problem.

A couple of months later we finally received a new ring with an emerald that looked very different to the original and was still a size too large in the ring.

We finally got through to Michael the store manager who wanted to do his best to take care of our situation. The cracked emerald was returned to A&B to use as a base for finding a new emerald and we were assured that this would be done in time for Christmas. After further email exchange and one photo of a new emerald, that looked suspiciously like the old one, we have been told that the workshop are still looking and can't deliver in time for Christmas.

I can go on the website and spec a new ring in the exact proportions and stone quality and have it delivered by January...

Our case is still unresolved three months after our engagement. I cannot recommend this retailer to anyone. We are both exceptionally disappointed.

Amazing experience, I went in not knowing anything about engagement rings, I was helped by Alyshia who talked me through my all options and helped me pick the perfect engagement ring for my now fiance. I was talked through the finance options and also through the warranty options. I was able to get a resize, exchange or refund within 30 days of picking up the ring, but because I was proposing a few months from that day I bought it, I was reassured that it was 30 days from physically taking the ring, and they could hold it for 3 months. I was able to get the ring resized when it was slightly too big with no extra cost. I'll definitely be coming back for the wedding bands and engagement ring for my next fiance... lol

Good communication and friendly and helpful staff

If you can cherry pick, ask for Charlotte! I’m sure all staff are great, but Charlotte has been amazing throughout the purchasing of my hopefully soon to be fiancé’s engagement ring!

I was quite daunted when first visiting Austen & Blake as tried my best doing as much research as I could on engagement rings, diamonds, carrots, cuts, quality etc but far too much for me to get my head around – The fanciest bit of jewellery I wear is an Apple Watch!

On the first visit Charlotte was very patient with me and we worked together to find the perfect ring – I had a picture of what I had in mind. We played around with sizes and quality to meet my budget needs!

I initially gave the wrong ring size when I put my deposit down. I called up at a later date and got this amended – no issues, no complaints – just great customer service.

Austen & Blake offer free resizing, within 2 ring sizes after 30 days of collection. This was clearly communicated to me on my first visit. I told Charlotte the date I plan to ask the question, and we agreed it makes sense to keep the ring in a secure safe, until a closer date to when I ask the question, so I have room to use this service if need be (fingers crossed I don’t need to).

Overall, very happy with the service received– Fingers crossed my partner loves the ring. Thanks again Charlotte!!

Collected an engagement ring today from the Manchester branch and was assisted by Rosie who was very professional and helpful. Overall a great experience from choosing from different styles of diamond to advice on travelling with the ring.
