Sara was very welcoming, and straight away I felt at ease. I felt comfortable to try on as many styles as I liked in order to find my ring. I most liked that I was able to tweek the style I chose to make it perfect for me. I am really happy with my choice, and would definitely return in the future.

We were in Chester ring shopping and popped into A&B because we’d gotten so many instagram ads for them, we thought we’d see what the hype was about.

Luckily, we were served by Poppy, who is a credit to the store. She was by her own admission new, and still learning but she was incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s obviously learned a lot in her short time there and made choosing and buying a ring incredibly easy. After her help, getting a ring from A&B was a no brainer.

Jean was so incredibly helpful in me finding my wedding band. Not only did she facilitate a video call with me as I was not in the area, but she took her time to show me many different rings and how they would look with my engagement ring. She listened to what I wanted and gave me wonderful feedback. She was also very kind and professional through the process. I am truly appreciative of Jean.

Poppy helped me today in the Chester store. She was approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about ring metal and diamonds. The relaxed approach in the store eased the nervousness of buying the right ring.

However we completed our transaction/pickup with a very rude member of staff which makes me regret using A&B

We came in for wedding bands, and left with an amazing experience. Poppy and Sara were incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome in busy circumstances. The bands are excellent and we can’t wait to wear them. We cannot recommend this store more.

Wow what can I say. We booked an appointment and we had arrived 30 minutes early so expected to be turned away but we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a cold glass of prosecco while we were expertly talked through styles and designs to choose for our engagement ring. Jean and I hit it off right away and even teared up when my partner and I were telling her our love story. I couldn't have hoped for a more special experience to choose this ring and we will remember it forever! Can't wait to receive my special unique ring and come and show jean! Thank you again!! I recently purchased an engagement ring and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything felt professional, smooth, and genuinely personal.

The quality of the ring is outstanding exactly what I was hoping for (if not better) What really stood out though was the customer service. Every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly, and I never felt rushed or pressured at any stage.

Buying an engagement ring is a big moment, and they made the whole process feel exciting rather than stressful.

I had an appointment booked last week at the Chester branch to look at upgrading my engagement and eternity rings ahead of my 40th birthday. This was a really special experience for me—my husband and I have been together for 20 years, married for 14—and I had been looking forward to it for a long time.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. I had an appointment booked. When I explained I was interested in trying pear-shaped rings, I immediately felt spoken down to. She repeatedly corrected me in a way that came across as dismissive rather than helpful—for example, telling me “so you mean a solitaire” without properly listening to what I was describing. When I tried to explain I liked a pear-shaped ring with stones on either side, she again corrected me bluntly (“so a trilogy”) instead of guiding me through the options in a welcoming way.

At one point, when I said I liked a certain style but wanted it with a pear centre, she told me I would “have to use my imagination,” which I found unhelpful and quite off-putting—especially when visiting a jeweller to see and try designs in person. During the appointment, she also reacted abruptly when interrupted, raising her voice toward someone at the door, which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere.

The overall experience made me feel uneasy and unwelcome, to the point where I chose to leave early. This was meant to be a meaningful and exciting milestone purchase, and it was disappointing to feel rushed, dismissed, and uncomfortable instead.

On a positive note, we visited other jewellers afterward where the service was warm, patient, and helpful. I ended up choosing a beautiful oval ring that I absolutely love, along with a new eternity ring—so the day was thankfully not a complete loss.

I would strongly recommend that more attention is given to customer experience, especially for such sentimental purchases. Feeling listened to, respected, and guided makes all the difference.

Spoke with Jean at the Chester store and she went above and beyond for me, my ring broke a couple of weeks after wearing it and on speak to her, she was an absolute angel, did everything she could to get it sorted, can definitely say she made my absolute day calling me with my update today, so glad I got my wedding ring from them and Jean made my experience 10000000 times better! Thank you for everything xx

From the moment we walked in to have a look at what would be available within our budget, Mariana instantly made us feel so welcome.she listened to what we were looking for, our budget and was so thoughtful in her options presented for me to try on. After much deliberating we finally decided and left after being made to feel very special.
It was also wonderful Mariana was there and available when we picked the ring up, she instantly remembered us and the conversations we'd had.
This ring was to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and Mariana most certainly made it feel so special.
