Exceptional experience with Sharon at the Bristol branch

We booked an appointment with Sharon at the Bristol branch, simply to view a few samples of rings which had caught our eye on the website. But we got so much more than we hoped for. Sharon was extremely generous with her time, and clearly passionate about her job. Not only had Sharon prepared well and had ready the samples we'd agreed, but she'd taken our brief and included a selection of other rings she felt would be of interest. It was a well thought out selection, sympathetic to our taste, but including some novel ideas which gave us food for thought. She was pleasant, engaging, and patient throughout.

She then went on to show us how she went about choosing diamonds. It was a fascinating masterclass which made the buying process enjoyable and enhanced our appreciation and understanding of the end product.

Sharon gave us all the time and space we wanted to think about this important purchase with none of the high-pressure or apathetic selling we'd experienced at other retailers. We just made contact again a week or so later to ask her advice on the diamonds we'd shortlisted. Again she freely gave her time and feedback on our choices, and gently steered us towards an alternative diamond which we both instantly knew was "the one."

She kept us informed during the delivery process and made contact after the big reveal to ensure we were happy. We weren't just happy, we were absolutely delighted with the setting and the centrepiece diamond.

We can't thank Sharon enough. Her knowledge, her caring manner and exceptional customer service is a credit to Austen & Blake / Diamonds Factory.

The experience was great

The experience was great! I always find engagement-ring shopping a little bit intimidating, but the appointment in Bristol showroom with Tamara was really informative and nice. Would definitely recommend other people who’s a bit unsure about things and want a friendly and personalized process.

Wedding Bands

Really helpful staff who helped us find our perfect wedding bands. They were limited in showroom samples (compared to website) for the more irregular ring shapes I wanted to try to fit around my engagement ring. This was a shame as it made it more difficult to decide. However, they offered a good return policy for me to order the one I liked and return if it wasn’t a good match.

Very Long Wait for Delivery

My fiancée and I decided to choose an engagement ring together and found Austen & Blake for a personalised experience. We visited the Bristol store 30/12/24 and had fantastic service from Tamara and Sharon. They patiently explained all of the facets of diamond purchasing & applied no pressure to buy. We found the perfect ring, with the perfect quality of diamond to match and made the purchase with a guide of 3-4 weeks for delivery which is where problems began.

After a few weeks I had heard absolutely nothing from A&B about the status of my order; no tracking or progress updates at all. I got in touch with A&B and Tamara informed me of a slight delay but assured me that delivery was only slightly delayed to 2 Feb making approx 5 weeks since purchase. This date came and went, and I again heard nothing.

I got in contact again and was informed there had been an issue with the diamond "not meeting the quality specified" and there would be a further delay. This set alarm bells ringing that the diamond had been changed, but I was assured this was not the case - incidentally throughout Tamara was really polite and as helpful as she could be. I was given a new due date of 15 Feb and the ring arrived the day before.

All in all a really great experience until I'd handed the money over and was waiting for the ring. Quoting 3-4 weeks then delivering in just shy of 7 weeks is not really acceptable especially with the lack of updates provided to me as the consumer - especially for an engagement ring that may be required for a specific date!! I wouldn't recommend ordering from A&B if you have a date you need your ring by.

Knowledgable advice and great customer service

Helpful relaxed and great communication

Is and absolute credit to the company . I was finally getting around to getting my partner an engagement ring. I didn't realise how difficult it would be. I had some ideas of what I wanted but couldn't be sure untill I had seen then . Tamara was incredible found some similar to what I wanted but talked me through everything I needed to know . This was all via email and calls .

When booking and appointment she was great and very accommodating to working round my busy schedule.

On arrival she was brilliant very polite and kind and made you feel very comfortable, which helped making the difficult choice I was having to make alot easier.

Whilst ordering the ring she was great and breaking all the little sections down . Metals size stone clearness . Pros and cons . And wow what an amazing choice we ended up with.

I picked the ring up a few days ago after a last minute "please can you squeeze me in late in the afternoon" after 4 or so missed appointments .due to work during the week .

And honestly I can't thank her enough for all her help and most of all the communication and friendliness xx

Fantastic Experience in Bristol!

Went to the Bristol Location with my mum to try Engagement Rings on, to see what would suit me. Sharon couldn't have been more helpful and really took the time to help understand what I might like, and explaining everything to us clearly. Great service, start to finish

Sharon was fantastic in helping us find our wedding and engagement rings. She was able to answer all of our questions and guide us on the important aspects of purchasing. She was relaxed and allowed us to take our time and didn't attempt to lead us on what to buy.

We're really impressed with the quality of the rings and wouldn't hesitate on recommending to others.

Can't praise enough
