My mother is in a care home and we first came across At Home Dental via the home. Every three months, we are informed as to the time of the visit the next day, the team arrive absolutely on the dot and deal with my mother with sensitivity, efficiency, humour and patience. I think this is an amazing service and have now reviewed her annual subscription for four visits a year without any hesitation. This is a brilliant service!

After setting up membership we were told in writing that they would be returning to my mothers care home within two weeks..They didn’t.
This is what originally made us sign up and the (ONLY) reason..as it (seemed) to be a prompt service but they didn't return and instead said they would be back in 4 weeks. So, we wait four weeks and I have received a cancellation WITHOUT 24 hours notice only to be re booked in another 3 weeks! Making the wait time nearly 2 months! Complete contradiction of what it is supposed to be..Tried to speak to management but was met with an arrogant remark of "well you have registered now" and they couldn’t even provide any information on that..completely unprofessional and a waste of time and money. Good little gig you have going here I wonder how many other people got the same treatment after scheduling the appointments.. Waste of my elderly mothers time and money and back to square one..Thanks for nothing. I have cancelled my direct debits as it was the easiest way to prevent paying for a service that hasn't delivered anything. All the praise comments are obviously from the people that they put ahead of my mother.

So the dentist could not find my address and called for directions. Everytime I tried speaking to guide her to my house, she spoke over me!. Before she even arrived she showed herself to be rude and arrogant!
First appointment was not good. She did not know how to use her own computer and the plastic circle for xrays got broke twice. I had to have 3 times more the amount of xrays than necessary because the equipment kept breaking and the dentist didnt know how ro work her computer!
Second visit was supposed to be to do extractions but the first visit filled me with so much anxiety and dreadful that I asked not to have them done and only opt for a scale and Polish. It was extremely painful. The dentist put in her notes that she let me have breaks. This is a lie. I was pushing her hands away and she was pushing her hands against mine to carry on. I started to disassociate and switched into a child personality . I tried explaining the slimyness of her gloves on my face along with the pain she was causing was triggering to me, yet again she ignored me and carried on. I again tried to explain that it felt like a replication of abuse as a child and she rudely told me she did not need to hear that yet she continued to traumatise me. I DID NOT GO INTO DETAILS like the receptionist implied!! After carrying on pushing her hands away and becoming more and more hysterical she said "i cant do the treatment like this!" She stopped and left within minutes practically ran out my house without payment. 20 minutes to set up and 5 minutes to run away!! The third time she wanted an appointment with me because apparently she 'had to see me sign a referral form' ..i tried to cancel her coming to my house but reception did not accept my cancellation. I was at this point terrified of the dentist and the home dentist service. She still came to my house. I was having seizures and unable to speak. So my live in carer opened the door to her and explained I was unable to talk. He was gaslit by Subuee the dentist who told my carer how difficult it was for her to come to my address. He then told her how I tried to cancel her coming but it was not accepted or cancelled. She had another moan about how hard it was to come out to me! She left the referral forms with my carer and told him to get me to fill them in and post them back. So to 'see me sign that paperwork' was also a lie!! Weeks later and still being harassed with calls for the remainder balance for treatment i did not recieve! Threatening email also saying if i did not pay it, 'they would use other means to get the payment'.. i rang them in tears believing they were sending bailiffs to me! My regular carer was back this morning and helped me to call them, purely to vocalise my anger and disgust with the treatment and service as a whole. I payed the balance just so I would NEVER have to have them in my house or life, harassing and bullying me EVER again. I do not recomend this service to anyone vulnerable or who has anxieties because they left me in such a traumatised state they should be reported!! . I would hate for anybody to experience what I have at their hands. APPALLING AND DISGRACEFUL !!!

Disgusted. My Aunt who is 89 had an examination on Tuesday.
On Thursday we got this. 2 days and they say “urgent action” will be taken.
Give us a chance. She’s in a care home. We work. We can’t always get around to things immediately. How about stating the email saying if you have made payment already apologies.

The dental staff were kind, considerate and excellent. They took their time and didn't rush I can't praise them enough.

Bob & Kiara visited my Step Mother Margaret yesterday and we could not have wished for a better outcome .. Margaret was a tad anxious initially about the appointment but they were both utterly charming & kindly and put her totally at ease swiftly . They were also highly professional . Thank you very much .

From my first phone call to At Home Dental to the visit by their 2 technicians on June 2, 2025, I have been very impressed and satisfied. The set up of their equipment, the exam, cleaning and radiotherapy was accomplished in an efficient and professional manner. I will continue to use the company’s services.

At Home Dental have started providing dental services in the care home that my grandmother resides. They gave a quick 'initial assessment'. It took a number of phone calls and emails to enquire further about when further assessment might take place. We arranged a date for the dentist to review my grandmother on site, and this was cancelled on the day as the dentist 'had a flat tyre'; however, I gather other residents on her same part of the care home were reviewed by a dentist on the same day - this seemed suspicious to me. My grandmother is 95 and frail and the dentist proposed > £4,000 of dental work, including 8 dental extractions of approx £200 each; I did enquire with an independent dentist if this was appropriate, and they said this was far too extensive/ inappropriate work for someone of my grandmother's nature, and the cost of extractions anyway seemed extremely high. No less invasive alternative treatment course was proposed. I am not a dentist but I am a medical professional and this seemed like sharp practice to me. Mistakes were made in the invoice for this assessment and it was £152 to just see the dentist and get a couple of x-rays; this is extremely expensive by any standard.

Dental care good,admin and billing confusion,paid deposit to confirm treatment received final invoice believed account had been settled rather than ring to clarify emailed advised second reminder requesting payment not ,the case disappointing on this occasion, hopefully better next time.

Julie and Kirsty visited Wilton Place Care Home for the day and treated a number of our residents. They were patient and kind and very thorough. We look forward to them returning soon.
It has been great for our residents to have dental care at home. It has so much easier for them to get the quality treatment they deserve.

I look after an elderly gentleman, who is disabled and cannot walk. We were delighted to know that this company sends the most amazing staff out to visit. Both of us were so pleased with the check up and the cleaning of his teeth. All for such a reasonable fee. The dentist and her nurse were just lovely. Friendly, kind and gentle, exactly what you want and need, especially if you are scared. Couldn't rate them any higher.

We have been using At Home Dental at our care home (The Fleet Care Home) for a fair while now and over that time welcomed many members of their exceptional team! On todays visit we had the pleasure of Hannah and Katie! Would not hesitate to recommend their services to future ladies & gents we welcome into our service. The team are so knowledgeable and even offer a discounted rate to employee's of our care home when At Home Dental are already here seeing someone else! How amazing is that!

As a Home Manager for a Care home, it is important to ensure that we have a reliable partner in managing and supporting our residents oral care. Home Dental are incredibly responsive and provide a fantastic service to our residents. Hannah and Katie have visited today and their interactions and approach could not be more caring and supportive. Every time they visit they are friendly and kind.

My wife is in a care home and is confined to her bed. I was a little apprehensive how she might react to a dental check. My fears were unfounded. The professionalism, care and understanding of the situation by your dentist resulted in a full inspection and minor treatment being undertaken without any apparent discomfort to my wife. The visit by At Home Dental was well managed and with confidence by the dentist and her colleague I would have no hesitation in arranging further visits by At Home Dental

My 97 year old father lives in a care home and is bed bound. I used At Home Dental for the first time and I am delighted with the service. Professional, and more importantly a very caring manor with my Dad. He was very stressed about his teeth and the Dentist and Nurse put him completely at ease. Highly recommend and good value for money.

Very impressed with the service - professional, efficient but above all caring, kind, and patient with my husband (who has dementia). Such a relief to find a good dentist who can come to us, now that my husband is housebound

I have severe arthritis, which makes it difficult to get out of my house (10 steps up to the road). When I needed dental treatment in November, my husband managed to help me. But I lost a front filling and my poor husband was in hospital, having had a stroke, so I was really stuck. My neighbour (a retired dentist) said 'There's no such thing as a mobile dentist, even for care homes.' So I was in despair...

I tried NHS domiciliary but they said they needed a referral.

Six hours of Googling and phone calls later, I found Mobile Dental! I was soooo delighted to find that, although based about an hour from me, that I was within the treatment area.

The only small problem was that I had to wait five days to be seen, but I wasn't in pain so I coped!

The team who came were just AMAZING. I'm so sorry, I've forgotten their names! But they were kind, helpful, efficient, friendly and did an amazing job.

I can't thank them, or Mobile Dental in general, enough.

Had treatment with bob yesterday and his nurse Leanne , it was a tricky extraction that took a long time and he was excellent explained everything and made it a good experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending home dental. Could not get to my dentist as had two hip replacements and will use this service again. Thank you to bob and Leanne.

I first used this company when it was fairly new. At that time it was excellent. Justin who founded it was approachable and responded to queries put to him.

Their ability to answer the phone however was not good and it remains not good today,

Their fees were reasonable

Since becoming a Limited Company everything has gone down the drain. I am still waiting for Justin to respond to my email 3-4 weeks or so after sending it. The fees I think have increased but not surprising.
All in all very disappointing so will not use them again
