It's great that Athena is fee free. Somewhat confusing in the latter stages of set up when it comes to how I pay additional funds. They use the NAB platform, that wasn't previously explained. The people are kind and patient.

We were kept informed during the whole process and we were treated with much patience as we had alot going on at the same time and if anything we were holding Athena up with the process. They were extremely patient and understanding. Easy to communicate with and always helpful.

Good but took a little long

The staff at Athena actually followed up with us right through the protracted process of moving away from our previous financial institution. It was a refreshing change not having to chase the bank. Athena took the initiative of liaising with our previous lender and ensured they kept us updated on developments throughout the process.

Being able to reach out to a personalised contact throughout the process was incredibly helpful when we had questions about our circumstances. The whole process of getting a new loan with Athena was pain free.

Athena staff walked me through the process of switching lenders from how to complete documents to bank valuation and settlement. They were really responsive to questions via email and text. There was one minor hiccup and that was rectified within a couple of hours. Looking forward to paying down this loan now without fees and with flexibiity.
