My experience in St Mawes beautiful new shop was great until I found a fault in the dress after purchase. I traveled back to the shop and hesitatingly accepted a discount, but what I really wanted was a perfect dress. Arriving home , from holiday, I found two more faults and so reluctantly called customer services. What decisive and excellent service! That day I received a free post return address and the next day a perfect dress… what I wanted all along! Well done customer service team! A pity the shop couldn’t of been as helpful initially. Looking forward to wearing it!

The first order was kindly placed for…
The first order was kindly placed for me in store but when the dress was delivered it was the wrong size. I returned it to the shop and a second order placed for the correct size with a 1-2 day delivery. I called up after 2 days and was told the dress had been sent but it still didn’t arrive. I called again 2 days later and was then told an email had been sent to me saying the dress was out of stock with no indication of whether it would be restocked. I never received the email. It’s obviously disappointing. I can’t help wondering if the correct size had been ordered originally I might have received the dress.

I’m very pleased with my Billie Cobalt/…
I’m very pleased with my Billie Cobalt/ white dress. The medium fits perfectly and looks lovely on.
However I’m disappointed with the packaging. Great green credentials in that the dress was delivered in paper packaging with internally just a layer of pink tissue paper wrapped around the dress. The outer packaging had a significant hole in the corner and the inner tissue paper was ripped and crumpled. Fortunately there was no damage to the dress.
Given that the dress cost £195 that was lucky. A compostable plastic bag protecting the dress is surely essential?
I was not impressed by the lack of care.

We're very sorry to hear about the condition of the packaging when your order arrived. I can see that your dress was dispatched from one of our stores rather than our warehouse. Items sent from our warehouse are usually protected in a compostable garment bag, whereas store-dispatched orders are carefully wrapped by hand in tissue paper by a member of the team.
We're sorry that the outer packaging was damaged in transit, and we completely understand your concerns regarding the level of protection, especially for an item of this value. We'll be sure to share your feedback with our team as we continue to review our packaging process.

The delivery service is flawed
The delivery service is completely flawed ! My parcel was delivered to an incorrect address and I am sick to to death of the proof of delivery pictures when actually someone should have accepted it ! It is sloppy service and I was lucky to get it only because I physically went around to different household guessing that was where it had been delivered to. Too stressful would rather go shopping like the old days ! Also no apology no compensation for the stress it caused quite unacceptable
