5 Months and Counting – No Furniture Received

I ordered my furniture – the Scorpion Solid Mango Wood Highboard Cabinet and the Scorpion Mango Wood Natural Brown Sideboard 177 – on 1st May 2025. As of 15th September, I still have not received my order, which is extremely disappointing given the significant delay. While the company has been prompt in responding to emails and issued a goodwill refund of £40 (for an order totaling £1,414.48), this does little to compensate for the long wait and lack of delivery. Overall, my experience with this company has been frustrating, and I cannot recommend them based on this order. However, I hope that the furniture is worth the wait!

EDIT:
After I left the review above, the company cancelled my order and issued a full refund — even though I had not requested a cancellation!!!
I was genuinely looking forward to the furniture, so this outcome is very disappointing.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the company. What a shame!

Poor after sales

The table had a slight warp causing it to rock, an easy solution was given to there customer services who ignored it resulting in me having to repack the heavy table for its return. This could have been easily resolved if the customer services had picked up the phone as requested a number of times rather than sending numerous unhelpful emails

Our team did make several attempts to help resolve the issue by sending you replacement parts, washers, and thread sleeves as requested, as well as providing detailed assembly guidance. Unfortunately, these solutions did not fix the issue with your table, and we completely understand your disappointment.

As agreed, we arranged for the collection and a full refund, which has now been processed. We truly regret that the product did not meet expectations and that our communication did not leave you feeling fully supported.

Lovely Product

Nothing was too much for this company.
I waited longer than expected but when it arrive it was well worth the wait.. I had a slight damage to a table leg which I shared with the seller and within the week I had replacement.
Can’t recommend highly enough and I’m fussy.

The two guys delivering were rushing to…

The two guys delivering were rushing to finish it move to next job. Partially unpacked my table but polystyrene broken all over mess to clear up. The table is stone so heavy it is still now on its back I am unable to lift as so heavy I live alone. So not pleased they didn’t have time to help me turn the correct way up

Communicate better.

Your product was lovely BUT your communication is rubbish, to have 3 separate deliveries, one, for legs, one for the table top, & the third for the glass,. When placing the order, no offer of assembly was mentioned,. This for an elderly lady was shocking, nothing just get on with it was your attitude.I phoned numerous times , re- missing parts, perhaps if you had less receptionist as everyone was different, & concentrated & gave your customer a little bit extra help ie assembly, perhaps, I may have order more.

Artico Interiors - 5 Stars!

Artico Interiors do deserve a 5 star rating as all the glitches or gripes I may have experienced was not down to them. The table I purchased from them is wonderful, each one will be unique and it is a piece of art. There was a delay on receiving the table, but in fairness that was communicated to me. The delivery had issues, but that was the delivery provider so beyond Artico’s control, Artico were very good at managing my expectations and resolving the issues, and generously compensating. The table is big, thick and solid, the legs are sturdy, having balance adjustments, and it is heavy, even the glass top is extremely heavy but it is exactly what I wanted, it is FABULOUS and I love it. Thank you Paul & Kat for responding to my emails immediately and for helping to get the delivery complete.

Ordered on 2 June, still don’t have it.

Ordered on 2 June. Delivery delayed twice and then promised for last week but wasn’t on the lorry when driver arrived at my house. Hopeful again for this Monday!

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand your frustration, especially after the multiple delays and the courier’s loading error at their Northern Ireland depot. Please be assured that your order was dispatched on time from our warehouse, but unfortunately the courier failed to load it onto the vehicle for delivery.

As soon as this issue came to light, we investigated directly with AIT, located your sideboard, and arranged for a new delivery slot after your return from holiday on 16th August — as per your request. We also issued you a partial refund to acknowledge the inconvenience caused.

We truly regret the trouble this has caused you and want to reassure you that this is not the level of service we aim to provide. We are working closely with the courier to ensure your delivery goes ahead smoothly and without further issues.

We fell in love with this sideboard on…

We fell in love with this sideboard on line and waited for it to come back into stock. It was well worth the wait! It’s stylish and unique Kat at artico has been brilliant and we are completely thrilled with the sideboard

Uneven surface on table

The table we purchased ain’t good for tall objects they are easily knocked over as they don’t stand up straight, the dips and curves in the wood naturally make anything you place on there a potentially dangerous hazard.
After contacting Artico and explaining our disappointment in the item they simply said it was the design of the table.
Very disappointed and have to sell privately as it’s no good when dining, ironic really as it’s called a dining table.

Thank you for your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your dining table after several months of use.

As noted on the product page, Your Dining Table is handmade using natural wood, meaning it will feature some natural texture, saw marks, and slight unevenness as part of its design. This is not a defect but rather a characteristic of the table’s industrial style.

Your order was delivered in December 2024 and only raised with us in July 2025, after more than 8 months of regular use. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on items that have been accepted and used for this length of time.

That said, we do want our customers to enjoy their purchases and are happy to advise on ways to reduce unevenness if that would help. Please reach out to our customer care team at info@articointeriors.com and we will do our best to assist.
