Chris Showers was very knowledgeable and responsive and Melissa Breen was organized and a pleasure to work with.

I would highly recommend the experience.

Terrible service. Called a dozen times to have my 1098 corrected. Don't use!!

They won't call you back and just play games.

Did not find this company willing to give a fair assessment when it comes to refinancing a loane with them. Found it best to work with another lender for a better oppertunity to lower interest rates and the amount that you pay monthly on a loan.

There was great communication in the beginning of the process. Once the rate was locked, the communication stopped until a couple of weeks later when it’s ready to sign. The experience would improve if there was an occasional status update or a way a customer can track online with perhaps target dates and percent complete.

I called to see about lowering my interest rate, the man was not helpful didn't seem interested in helping with lowering my rate.

Website not well designed. Hard to get someone, always a long wait & mistakes with my payments. Refi loan officers would only give rates over the phone and not in writing even after running credit report. When decided to go for the refi the rate jumped more than 5 points in just 2 days during the time Feds was lowering rates?! Bait & switch. Another refi loan officer is non-responsive after running my credit score again. A waste of time & deduction on my credit scores for nothing .

Impossible to contact anyone. Terrible automated phone system. Contacting the right department requires faxing instead of a phone call or email. Very delayed response time, even when critically time sensitive response needed. Worst customer support experience ever. Hope never do to business again.

The closing costs were not fully explained. We were told they would be $1300 which they were but the additional costs involved were not shared up front. We had to clarify when the closing papers were sent. We did not receive the initial email regarding closing docs, requested an update after over a week of no news. They were resent but we felt communication was abrupt as though we were frustrating staff in not receiving the first email. We had to request updates along the way.

It was a good experience to do business whit thise company.

My refinance process went very smoothly..

The staff assigned to our refinance was excellent. Melissa Breen and Stephanie Vigliotti made this an extremely smooth process and were always on top of everything. Every question was answered immediately. It was stress free process and I thank them for their hard work and attentiveness.

Just such an unorganized process. No follow up, no communication unless I hounded them.

Had a great experience with Arc Home, no issues and both the site and payment processing were easy

Took over 4 months to finalize my refinance and I am not sure the process is even over. The representative asked for documents over and over again. I was asked to provide documents that are not applicable to my home such as providing documentation that I do not live in an HOA community. Tax documents were requested for the current year when I have not yet received my tax documentation from my employer due to the pandemic and the tax filing date has been extended until May 15, 2021. All of this just to save $200 a month??!!. I will pay an overage monthly so I do not have to deal with another mortgage company in the future. The entire process felt like repeatedly hearing nails on a chalkboard.

Procedure had many unexpected requirements that made for a lousy experience.

We applied to refinance our mortgage since the rates were so low and that was back in December 2020 and we are still waiting to hear back from our lending processor. The last email we received from him was in March stating he would get back to us within 48 hours. On April 13th I sent an email to him in regards to not hearing back from him yet and now on April 27th I still have not had any response from our lending processor. Its a little disheartening. At this point we are talking about taking our business elsewhere. Prior to this we have not had any issues with ARC. Its such a shame.

We kept getting your refinance letter and email. We’ve called several times but no answer. We’ve sent email and an appointment was set up but no call received. Made a follow up email. Finally, somebody called. Received an estimate, monthly payment was a little bit lower but we had to buy points. Informed loan officer “not interested” but we’re still getting solicited!

After being contacted by Arc, I sent some documents to see what they would offer. By the way, "them currently hold the mortgage on this property". They called to offer a lower interest rate then I am paying them "now". They sent me a pulmonary offer and I had some questions. I emailed the questions to Arc and did not receive a reply.

I was initially told I could Easily get refinanced and then after months of terrible communication and difficult asks I never heard from them and didn’t get a new loan. Now my Credit has been tarnished after their inquiry so I am worried to even ask another company.
