Text before coming to my house. Was courteous to me and my house. Put protective covering on his boots. Sprayed the exact places that I specified inside my house. Sprayed outside with photos attached to his conclusion.

Big scheduling problems.

The scheduling process is a mess!
The automated responses to text messages was irrational and frequently did not even address the response requested in the text.
When finally put in touch with a live agent, that agent understood the issues presented, but apparently was not in complete coordination with the text-based system because the resulting text messages did not accurately reflect what was agreed to with the live agent. (Although there was a bit of a language barrier, the agent was able to accurately repeat and summarize my concerns).
Of the two Aptive events scheduled (a termite inspection and a routine pest control appointment), only the pest control appointment was accomplished - and it occurred only after a no-show on the first scheduled visit. The termite inspection has yet to occur. It has been scheduled and rescheduled three times so far, the first cancelled due to personnel issues, the second just a no show, and the third rescheduled after the fact for this coming Monday afternoon (9 Mar).
Final summary: scheduling is a mess!

Aptive Pest Control Review

I generally was not very happy with the experience, particularly the effectiveness of their insect removal. The company itself was also not very responsive to concerns.

Their scheduling is on spot every time…

Their scheduling is on spot every time and the on site personnel send you notifications upon arrival and a complete recap with pictures after the job is complete. They’ve taken care of any issues that I have had with pests and will come back if any issue arises before the next scheduled appointment.

Booked for a termite inspection

Booked for a termite inspection. The technician never showed up and and I later received an email and texts asking stating that the service was completed. Then asked me for a review? I called them and asked what happened and got a run around about they didn’t need to expose the traps to light or it would ruin the treatment?? Not good service and yet still charged the card.

Scheduling a termite inspection and then having no one show up, followed by messages stating the service was completed and a charge on your card, is not the experience we want anyone to have with Aptive.

The explanation you were given clearly did not address your main concern, which was that you did not see a service professional at your home. You deserve clear communication and accurate updates, not mixed messages.

We would like to take a closer look at your account and review exactly what occurred. If the inspection was not properly completed as scheduled, we will make it right, whether that means correcting the charge and/or promptly rescheduling at a time that works best for you.

First of all it's convenient.

First of all it's convenient and the technician are super. They contact you when they are on the way. They ask if there is a particular problem that needs to be addressed. They let you know when they are are finished and take pictures.

Generally dislike the business model of…

Generally dislike the business model of dealing with a distant company that schedules appointments without discussion. If they can't contact you, they treat the outside of the house. Bottom line - as a customer I am dealing with a computer that is programmed to ram appointments and billing down the throat of customers.

Only problem I see is very little…

Only problem I see is very little notice about upcoming appointments. Also, staff should have shirts with Active name so resident knows they are Active employee. One person once said, "Well the truck has the name on it." However, sometimes, the truck is not clearly visible (as trees block my view).
