I worked with Katy Morris on my mortgage after I ran into issues with NVR, PenFed and SECU of Maryland. I have nothing negative to say about any of them or their requirements BUT American Financing Corporation can accommodate anyone looking for a mortgage. Katy and Cassie are extremely responsive. They kept me on track, provided updates, replied all times of the day and explained each step.
If you're looking to get a mortgage, start with American Finance. Their work ethic alone will make you stick with them thru it all! And they're veteran friendly. I've recommended their mortgage services to everyone over the last 3 months. I hope everyone has an experience like I did!!!!

I’m writing for my wife. She applied and was given the initial disclosure documents, including even a plan of action that would help take us out of debt and create some cash flow. Two months later, she still not heard back? She contacted the corporate offices and they said that they would get in touch with the loan officer. Still no word it’s been over two months at this point of course, they do not want to move on with us but why not tell us this when they went ahead and checked her credit so with debt she needed to pay off Etc. the payment was not even going to be that much. We don’t even owe that much on our loan I don’t get it I’m sad because so many of our conservative radio hosts go on and on about how great they are and how, like Mark Levin mentioned American Financing Help them get out of a tough situation. That’s why my wife called them. So disappointing.

I would not use a financing company that does not give a curtesy call and let you know your loan was not moving forward or respond to a status update email.
No call, no email, no follow up, nothing. Really appreciate that.

What a scam. Family owned? I done a refinance loan, and before my 1st payment they sell my loan to Chase Bank. What a Con. Crooked company. Vif I wanted a loan through Chase Bank, I would of went to Chase for the loan... SCAM

I had a horrible experience with American financing, i’m not one of those people that goes out and complains about everything in fact this is the first review I’ve ever written in my life American financing strung me along for eight months getting my hopes up just to be let down over and over at the last minute before closing I spent over $1000 getting my credit score to where they wanted it. Just to have them tell me something different every time right now I don’t even know if my file is still open because they won’t respond to my messages so the reason I’m writing this is so American financing can do a better job so nobody else has to go through this.

American Financing Services has made this whole process a very positive and smooth experience. Our Loan Officer was very kind and patient in explaining the process. He was superb in explaining the process as we went, understanding and revelatory with our questions. In fact questions were highly encouraged.
The two other women in the office were exactly the same as he.
All 3 expressed positive greetings and questions about our welfare each time we talked.
All in all a very positive and enlightening experience.
I highly recommend this company for any financial needs.
For months I had heard about this company via radio from a favorite show I listen to. We've been wanting to do this, and we finally did it!
We will be spreading the good word about this company to friends, family, and everyone we meet!

I heard them on the radio for months and finally I gave them a call and everything i heard on the radio was 100% correct I refinance my house paid off some debt and got some cash back for upgrades I couldn’t be more happier customer service was excellent and everything went smooth and quick I will recommend them and I will come back I’ve ever wanna refinance again

We have worked with them multiple times over the past few years going through American Freight. Never had an issue. We moved back to GA & needed bedroom furniture & a washer & dryer set. When trying to complete the paperwork via the store computer it froze. According to store personnel this happens every day so they have to call & complete with a rep. We were under the impression our payments were the "monthly" amt & we would pay biweekly. This made sense since our previous payments were approximately $60-85/biweekly come to find out they wanted $263/biweekly which is over our budget. When I tried to call for assistance they were unwilling to help just kept referring me to the contract. I advised them according to the contract this was for a 6mo payout. They argued this is for 24 months. Someone's math is way off because that would result in 4xs the amount. Even with interest that was an exuberant rate. I asked for a sup was told there were none. I said fine I'll send it all back since no one wants to help. They miraculously found another sup supposedly Operations manager who said she could remove the liability but that would only drop it $20. Apparently being a long time customer work NO issues until now means nothing to this company. I will be going elsewhere.

Tony Wesson is the one you want to work with you on your loan to get refinanced. He is the best in the business as far as I am concerned. He is with you from the moment you start until your loan is closed. There is no one better.

American Financing was great to deal with. Our refi took longer than anticipated, but that was due to the appraiser taking a long time to get the report done. Our loan officer, John Hazel, worked hard and made sure we didn't lose our quoted rate while we waited. When the report finally came in, we closed very quickly. Since we had a holiday weekend we were up against and wanting to make sure we got the closing done quickly, John worked to get our closing done the very next day. I would highly recommend American Financing and John Hazel. They have been fantastic!

I used American financing a few years ago and everything was so smooth and painless. The person working on my loan this year wasn’t as great. She took a long time asking questions I’ve already answered for her, gave me false hope in the amount I’d be qualified for, honestly wasted a lot of time. Also, a million different people were calling my phone from American financing for weeks. All asking for the same information that I already provided to someone else. Very annoying, waste of time, difficult. This is not the same painless process it was a few years ago.
