Surprisingly easy and safe for me to get to at night (DLR a very close walk). Easy to access but felt secure, all gear was ready to go and spaces were clean and tidy!

Great service and support but bad experience
It was easy to book and communicate when I faced any issues, and I am very satisfied with this.
Unfortunately, whoever used the space before me left it dirty and with a sticky floor. Also, some kids came into the room next to us and were listening to music on the sound system to its absolute max- this made the recordings I did pretty much useless so I basically spent money on nothing.

The room was beat up
The room was beat up. The air con leaking into a bucket on the floor. Wet floor was dangerous and slippery. The last time I came it was kinda new but the room was well looked after. Not anymore. I won’t be coming back.

My experience at the studio was not a positive one
Hi All Nighter Studios team,
I’d like to share that unfortunately, my experience at the studio was not a positive one. I brought a client in for a vocal recording session — it was my first time using the space (Studio 6), and I expected a more prepared environment.
However, upon arrival, Studio 6 was dirty, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and the overall setup felt disorganized. I was quite embarrassed to be in that situation in front of my client, as it reflected poorly on my professionalism.
I believe in the potential of your space and your mission, and I truly hope this feedback can serve as a constructive point for future improvement.

While we do have cleaners maintaining our studios regularly, sometimes previous guests leave the space in a condition that’s beyond our control. Regarding the air conditioning, we understand how important comfort is. The room description does clearly state that the studio does not include air conditioning, but a fan and ventilation is provided to help keep the space cool.

Hoped for better
If I could give 1/2 star then my review would be 2 1/2. I had high expectations of this based on other reviews but upon arriving the equipment was in a bad way, dials falling off, scratched up etc. the speakers were also sounding extremely poor and the air-con was dripping so much it created a big puddle - turn it off an the room starts to bake. Now I get that this is used on a regular basis but for a pro room costing more, I would hope ANS take better care before letting the studio out.
It was however very easy to book, easy to find and equally as easy entering the studio with the codes, providing ANS pay closer attention to the equipment, this could be a very good venue.

This is just awful!!! Aren’t you ashamed to offer such equipment? Half of the buttons don’t work! The sound is terrible! It doesn’t read memory cards! I’m in complete shock! And there’s no option to cancel the reservation! I just threw my money away! I will leave the most disgusting review everywhere I can! I don’t want any response from you or a refund! This is complete disrespect to your clients! This crap needs to be shut down! And I hope it happens soon!

Review of All Nighter Studios – Pro DJ Suite (15th March 2025)
After not visiting All Nighter Studios in West Silvertown since 11th February 2023, I decided to book the Pro DJ Suite again on 15th March 2025. Unfortunately, my experience this time was quite disappointing.
Upon entering the suite, I immediately noticed that the space was left in a mess—there was rubbish in the DJ booth, and the overall cleanliness did not match the studio's advertised standards. This was not a great impression.
Equipment Issues & Maintenance
After setting up my MacBook Pro with Rekordbox 7.0.3 in Control Mode, I realized that the Pioneer CDJ-3000s required a firmware update from 3.18 to 3.19. I used my SanDisk USB to update them, ensuring proper functionality with my MacBook Pro.
However, the CDJs felt sticky and heavily used, as if liquid—possibly a soft drink or an alcoholic beverage—had been spilled on them. While this wasn’t a major issue for operation, it is a serious concern. If this were your own equipment that you worked hard for, you wouldn’t treat it like this—would you? Of course not. So, treat this setup with respect, just as you would with your own gear at home.
A single Pioneer CDJ-3000 costs £2,169.00, meaning a pair would set you back £4,299.00. I strongly recommend enforcing a "No Food or Drinks" policy (except water) in the studio to prevent costly damage to high-value equipment.
Moving on to the Pioneer DJM-900NXS2, the mixer also showed signs of heavy use. While it was already running the latest firmware (2.07) and didn’t require an update, it definitely needs servicing. Some of the potentiometers (pots) feel loose, several knobs are worn, and the crossfader is missing a fader cap. A thorough full service would help restore the mixer and players to a professional standard.
Sound System Issues
The studio is equipped with RCF ART 708-A MK4 Active PA Speakers, which are 400W speakers—more than sufficient for a DJ setup. When I first visited All Nighter Studios in July 2022, these speakers sounded great. However, during this session, they sounded muffled and distorted, almost as if they were underwater.
This suggests that the system has been pushed too hard—likely from DJs redlining the mixer. Personally, I never go past +9dB, but unfortunately, many DJs seem to disregard proper gain staging. This kind of misuse leads to speaker damage and a noticeable drop in sound quality.
Again, if this were your own sound system, you wouldn’t push it to the point of damage—so why do it here? Treat the equipment with care so that everyone can continue to enjoy it at its best.
Final Thoughts & Rating
Because of all these issues, I have decided to give this business a 3-star rating. At £12 per hour, you might assume you can’t complain, as this is London’s cheapest DJ studio with CDJ-3000s—but you can complain. This is simply not worth paying for. I would rather just stay at home and not bother at all.
If All Nighter Studios wants to maintain its reputation, it must:
✅ Deep clean & service all DJ equipment
✅ Enforce a strict "No Food or Drinks" policy in the booth
✅ Educate DJs on proper gain staging to prevent speaker damage
Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this studio.

Your point about treating gear with the same care as personal setups is absolutely valid, and we’re reinforcing that message across our community.
We also hear your concern about the sound system. Speaker distortion is indeed often caused by prolonged redlining, and we agree that more education around proper gain staging is essential. We're working on clear signage and an optional quick guide to help users get the best sound without causing long-term damage.
Lastly, we are now reviewing a revised "No Food or Drinks in Booth" policy and will be implementing stricter guidelines shortly to protect all studio assets.
