Was quick getting me in to view a car. Was very welcoming when I arrived and was offered a drink. Was an excellent experience and was great with all the paper work and was very helpful. Would recommend to friends and family.

Brought a car from Alison group last week, after picking up my vehicle a problem occurred within 1 day. After speaking to jack my vehicle was picked up from my house within 2 hours! They found the problem and resolved it within 24 hours. Collin informed me what was wrong and made sure the car was road tested before I collected. Can’t fault the customer service and would happily buy from these guys again!

Lia was excellent throughout the whole sales process. From initial enquiry with honest and clear info, through managing a couple of very minor details on the car. Communication was quick and I’m very happy with the vehicle. Would happily recommend to anyone as they have a great selection of cars at a good range of prices.

I had a brilliant experience with Alisons Automotive Group. The team was incredibly professional, welcoming, and went above and beyond to be helpful. It’s rare to find such a friendly and knowledgeable dealership who make the whole process feel so easy. I can’t recommend them enough!

Ellie was a fantastic down to earth saleswoman. Honest and upfront about the car as it had just come in and not had its pre inspection yet. Let me check the car out in private from the moment I drove in, let me take the car out on a test drive privately, just let me do my thing until I agreed it was good to go. Addressed any minor issues, sorted the part ex, MOT, even drove me to the local post office to tax the new car when the Gov website had issues. Everything was easy thanks to Ellie. Also give thanks to the other guys in the office who addressed some hesitation I had after one ladies experience flagged up, and they went above and beyond what they're obliged to. Had the car a week now and it's absolutely perfect so far. If any issues were to arise im sure they will come in handy. Thank you all.

They say you can only judge a dealer by the after care. I can't fault them, can only praise them based on my experience.
I had just bought my Audi and on the journey home, some of the dashboard functions failed. They picked it up the next day and got it fixed at the main dealer. Good regular Comms while they diagnosed it and returned my lovely car to my house.

I purchased a car from Alisons Automotive on 14th December, and it has taken until now (17th March) to finally resolve the situation.
Not because of the dealership, but thanks to the incredible support from Blue Motor Finance.

Within just two days of owning the car, I started noticing serious issues. Within a week, I had it inspected by a garage, and these were only some of the findings:
• Faulty heater
• No catalytic converter
• No DPF
• Play in the turbo with visible metal wear around the housing
• Faulty windows
• Oil present in the header tank

This is not a minor oversight, this is a vehicle that should never have been sold.

I am not a mechanic, so I trusted the dealership when purchasing. It’s hard not to question whether the fact that I was a lone young female played a part in how this sale was handled. Fortunately, I do work within the motor industry, so I had support in identifying and escalating these issues.

When I approached the dealership, they offered another car, I did not want to do this as I had lost all trust in them straight away or I was told they would return my deposit but intended to deduct £1 per mile I had driven, despite the fact I live 60 miles away from the dealership. This is completely unlawful given the condition of the vehicle and the time in which I informed them that there were issues with the vehicle.

At that point, I refused to deal with them further and escalated everything to the finance company. Blue Motor Finance arranged for the vehicle to be inspected, The dealership told me I didn’t need to do this, looking back they did not want the vehicle inspected as it was illegal. Blue motor finance arranged for the vehicle to be collected and taken back to the dealership. They refunded my finance payment, compensated me £200, and when the dealership failed to return my deposit within the given deadline, they stepped in and refunded it themselves.

So thank you to Blue Motor Finance, your service was outstanding.

As for Alisons Automotive, selling a car in this condition and then attempting to penalise the customer for returning it is completely unacceptable. I have been without a car for over 3 months and they just did not care. The whole situation has caused me a great deal of stress and I feel sorry for customers who have bought cars and paid in full for them. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership.
This dealership used to trade under the name of Autotrade Southwest and after some research a lot of legal action was taken against them, now trading as Alison’s automotive group, this company needs to be shut down. CONMEN!!!!!!

I very much doubt all of the problems have been fixed as there was so much wrong with it, probably better off as scrap.

I also have photo/text evidence of unlawful charges trying to be made when I wanted to return the car WITHOUT the finance company being involved, you left me no other choice as I would have not received my full deposit which I paid. I only received my deposit because the finance company had put it through after they called me asking if you guys had sent it to me yet… NOPE!
You sell dodgy cars and have been doing so for a long time, you guys will never change and the business needs to be closed down.

We purchased a car from this dealership at the beginning of December and the experience since has been nothing but frustrating.

We made a 5 hour round trip to collect the car and there was absolutely no movement on price whatsoever. Unfortunately the problems started almost immediately. On the drive home the headlight bulb blew, meaning we had to stop at Halfords and pay over £90 to have it replaced, and it still isn’t 100% working properly.

About a week later the driver’s wing mirror glass literally blew out while I was driving, costing another £45 to replace.

I contacted the salesman and sent over photos and receipts for these issues and was told someone would get back to me. After hearing nothing I had to chase multiple times before finally receiving a call. The solution offered was either to make the 5 hour round trip back to them or pay for diagnostics myself and report back to them; which is pretty poor considering the problems started almost immediately after purchase.

To make matters worse, after some recent heavy rain we’ve now discovered the boot smells damp and musty. There is clearly a leak somewhere as mould has now started growing in the boot area.

For a car that had supposedly been checked over before sale, this is unacceptable. The after sales support has been extremely poor and the whole experience has left a very bad impression. I would not recommend based on our experience.
