I want to thank Adley Gray from start to finish, I initially spoke to Stephen Ferns who was very reassuring, attentive, and supportive, my case was then passed on to Chantelle Stocks as I am London based and I couldn’t have been in better hands! From the very start she was extremely supportive and reassuring and made me feel at ease during very stressful situations. Chantelle’s expertise, knowledge, determination and passion for what she does led to the best possible outcome and managed to drop my original charge to a lesser offence. As a civil servant working for the Criminal justice system Mr. B was able to relay some of the intricacies of the Criminal Justice process I was not so appreciative of previously because of my current role. Found myself needing representation- spoke to a dozen different lawyers from the get go Chantelle stood out - knowledgeable, no hot air filled us with confidence from the get go. Personally, I couldn’t have asked for a smooth and easy process. Mr Fern who I was personally assigned to, was nothing but great. I cannot speak highly enough of Stephen Ferns. In what was undoubtedly the most worrying and stressful time of my life, Stephen was calm, patient, respectful and meticulous in preparing for my case. I felt safe in the knowledge that if I needed him he would make himself available and was quick to speak to me if I started to worry or panic during the process. I am a qualified Social worker, and Steve represented me in a false allegation case raised against me.

The investigation I learnt today was closed by the Police (it did not even proceed to CPS). Steve was always reassuring when he spoke, strong with thought sharing and case management and a very smart case planner. He always made his planning clear, and his experience and legal expertise quickly became evident.

He is sensible, fair, honest with his clients (he was certainly all of those with me), and willing to offer reassurance too when appropriate to do so!! Steve in a nutshell is a star, and I have no hesitation about recommending him to anyone who requires meaningful and intelligent advocacy!!

Stephen Ferns was my solicitor for my case. From the very jump he was super helpful, i called very late
At night when i needed a solicitor and he responded in the morning and sorted out the issue i had quickly and easily and made me feel much better. He was a great solicitor and person who helped me massively throughout my days leading up to court and whilst we were at court. I greatly appreciate his help and am very glad he was my solicitor!

I was completely out of my depth with the seriousness of the charges my father was facing - We couldn’t even find the prison he was being held. With no help from the police, or legal aid solicitor (who was also impossible to track down) I eventually found Chantelle. Who my partner nicknamed as Super Women. She swooped in and literally saved us. Within a number of days my father was out on Bail, and then we could work on his case, which within 8 weeks was dropped and no charges. Chantelle was professional - she knew the case inside out and fought the prosecution from every angle and she did this all with ease, she was also kind and very hard working. When we were anxious she always knew and reached out to reassure us through every step. Very proactive, organised and she always managed our expectations. I can’t explain my gratitude to Chantelle. She saved us in a very complicated legal system that seems broken.

I honestly believe, if we went for cheaper solicitor firm, they might not have been as proactive and so ahead of the game like Chantelle, that our case could have gone to trial - so would have been drawn out, and double the cost in fees. Due to Chantelle's proactiveness I believe in turn was very cost effective too.
