Recently had 5 windows fitted in my park home. The company was very efficient and all work completed quickly. One minor problem with one window which was fixed immediately. Both Phil and Craig were brilliant and I cannot fault the service provided throughout.

2 guys who came and built my porch, friendly, professional, kept me updated and left my place clean and tidy having done excellent job.
Had the same company do my facias and guttering and was delighted with that, that is why had them back to do the porch.

Just like to say what a fantastic job done by 2 workmen from Active Double Glazing replacing 5 new windows in this freezing weather, before starting they checked the measurements were correct , dust sheets down and all messy work was done outside .I was very pleased with the results and will look forward to having them back in the near future to replace the other ones.Thank you once again.

We had first appointment a few months ago but the price was to high for us then . Second appointment was 3 weeks ago because they called us to inform about some deals for black Friday. Price was still little bit to high but the salesman (Afro-American one) was really pushy and our arguments wasn't enough for him but because we need doors anyway we agreed. We suppose to have anthracite doors and same colour of side panels but on his form he wrote different colour, different doors model, different side panels glass because he was 'in a rush' and said that we can change everything when survey will come. We paid 10% deposit, survey came few days later, we changed everything all good. He said they will contact us in few days about date. 2 weeks later nothing from them so we called again. Apparently our surveyor was ill so another has to come over. Not a problem we changed everything again. We've got a call today morning that because we CHANGED doors model and colour and side panels we need to pay £500 extra. After long conversation with that person he told us that whatever is on the form stays on order so they can't leave it like we wanted so we cancelled our contract. They said they will give us back our deposit but we still need to pay £50 for a survey. Are you kidding me ? For what ? That's not my fault and not my problem that your team doesn't know what are they talking about or maybe they know but lie your potential future customers for new contracts. £50 right now it's a weekly shopping for a family. Ridiculous

We were contacted by active windows
We had a salesman round who was very nice & friendly
We agreed on a price, said we would hear from a surveyor who will measure up
So we waited, no-one contacted us, so I emailed & after 2 weeks he came out, after visit i got an email saying that the door would be fitted 4-6 weeks
So after waiting nearly 6 weeks, I emailed to ask about door, to be told the wait time is 6-8 (not what the email said)
We eventually got the door fitted, but it was the incorrect panels, the fitter insisted that my husband paid the balance ( if i was home I would have not paid as the doors were not complete)
We had a call from brad the customer service to see if we were happy, explained about panels & having to chase all the time, he said this was no usual practice & would get someone to call me, still awaiting that call, we had the new panels fitted 2 weeks later
Feel very let down by the company
Would not use again or recommend them

Craig and Jack done fantastic job fitting french doors and a new front door.very polite, no mess,cleaned up throughly, pleasure to have in my home. Would recommend to anyone.

The fitter was very good and did a superb job with very good quality products

"Efficient and professional" throughout the process from initial sales call by Errol to installation by Dave and Mark sums up our experience with Active. The finish is immaculate and hopefully the product throughout its life will live up to the initial experience of its sale and installation.

Just had the rest of our windows and front door replaced, cannot fault the installation, what a fabulous job! Our bungalow feels so much warmer with the new windows and doors plus the new doors are so much more secure, would thoroughly recommend.

I would of gave them 5 stars but there was a few issues/hiccups. But I have to say they came to sort the issues out my cladding after a few weeks & it looks good now 👍. I will say the though the Scaffolding company Skyline I would definitely give 5 stars they were exemplary especially Sam who went out of his way to help. When you have a Husband who is poorly (end of life care) it means such a lot when that one person who is kind & will go out of their way for you.

Friendly staff, workmen did a very professional job.

Active windows were great and the people were polite and cheerful, the job was well done and was a pleasure to have them.

The door is lovely and the workmen were amazing. My only criticism is that you need to liaise with you customers a bit more. I had to chase to see if my door was ready and I had to book it in. It would have been nice if you had kept me up dated.
Overall a great expereince and would recommend your company

Sales man was friendly, patient and knowledgeable, but he did say I wouldn't need new window boards. thought this was a good thing as they were not selling me things I wouldn't need saving me money should of been a positive point, but after windows fitted, 2 window boards very wobbly they clearly do need replacing, which is now going to be a lot harder and more expensive to fix.
Survey fantastic, but note to others ( no fault of active windows) if you are changing window openers, make sure you will be able to open them easily, I went for aesthetics with out thinking it through and now because of the lay out of my bathroom, and the fact I am short, if I push the window open to far, I need a stool to help me close it.

I live in a flat, and even though I own the flat, the building is lease hold, this caused many problems, delaying insulation, Active windows were fantastic, again very patient, helpful and caring, Up to this point I would of given a 5 star review, I did get cheaper quotes but felt that with this level of customer service and care it was worth the extra cost.
Insulation, was efficient, no matter how careful installers were, no matter how many dust sheets were used, its a dirty job, so everything is left with a fine layer of dust, so after they leave be prepared to dust, wipe everything down, change bedding and hoover carpets, sofa, etc.
They windows seem to be fitted well, but 4 out of the 5 windows I had fitted, has a small imperfection, scratches on the frame, a chip of the handle. nothing big, nothing I can't live with, but I got told " quality control is not up to standard during manufacturing process" which seriously worries me about the quality of the product. Also the attitude was it happens at manufacturing level we will sort it if we can but not really our problem,
My main complaint was the bathroom window, and the reason for only 3 stars, I agree mistakes can be made, well someone ordered the wrong glass for my ground floor bathroom window, they ordered clear glass not frosted, this is my only bathroom, and anyone walking past this window, got a clear view of pretty much the whole bathroom, they knew this before they took the old window out that they would be putting in clear glass until correct glass was received.
Now I can understand mistakes are made, but wouldn't it of been better customer service, to apologise, leave the old window in place until the new glass arrived, I don't think this even occurred to them as it would of been more difficult for them.
They have now corrected this mistake, but again the attitude was I should be grateful, and they couldn't see a problem.

Another thing was I was told from the beginning that I would only have to pay when I was completely happy with everything, this rang true as they waited ages for the deposit while I was waiting for problems to be resolved with lease holders. Only asking for deposit when all issues had been resolved, I paid as soon as they asked for payment.
They also kept the price the same even though, changes had to be made, schedules had to change and costs had probably increased with the amount of time it took for the lease holders to give us the necessary and correct information.
But on day of insulation, it was " we need payment in full today " now I don't like owing people money, but I didn't feel comfortable with this, I wanted time to check all windows, I paid most ( keeping some back because of incorrect glass ) yes probably about an hours delay after payment request as I had replaced blind in the bathroom, this was my priority as no way was my 11 year old daughter using the bathroom when anyone could walk past the window and see her.( Yes after I had replaced blind, cleaned everything, I emailed and explained why I hadn't paid in full, the reply was just stick some cardboard over window, which is very helpful information, but didn't feel that way when you are exhausted from cleaning) I paid remainder of balance as soon as correct glass was fitted. Again it was the attitude of " you have to pay the remainder now" I have not received a receipt for either payment.

I feel I should add for fairness, they did offer to put blind up for me, but that blind was one of my first DIY attempts, and I didn't want them seeing my bodge job, but they did remove the window frame with out knowing a blind was available.

Another thing I would like to add, just in case anyone else is as silly as me, do not try and put net curtains back up, straight away, the side panels of the windows get pulled away from the wall, as sealant/glue hasn't fully dried.
