I did few jobs with them, avoid! Same as other people says ... they sound all nice and lovely, but when it comes to payment, bam, they gone! Rubbish company! Avoid avoid avoid! They will promise paying millages, extra money per hour, nothing will happen! I did travelled on my own money, used my time, and at the end no money! It's a BS company! And the ladies that deal with customer service/hr despicable !

Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd has an advanced yet user friendly telephone and video interpreting system. It is really impressive!

Amal delivered excellent training and provided valuable guidance on how to conduct ourselves professionally as an interpreter, especially for someone like myself who is new to the role. The training was clear, practical and easy to follow, and gave me a better understanding of what to expect during interpreting assignments. I feel much more prepared, confident and ready for my upcoming bookings and jobs.

I learnt a lot about common mistakes I made early on without recognising them.
I wish I had been trained in this earlier in my career; I could have been a more professional interpreter.

The training was very helpful and informative. I learned how to handle telephone interpreting calls professionally, interpret accurately, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly.

I completed three interpreting jobs. Submitted timesheets for all three in time- with proof of receipt because their portal is not working. They've received everything and refuse to pay.

This seems to be a pattern/ intentional. Don't trust me? check for other reviews above. They're not paying interpreters for completed work.

Don't work with them.

I recently attended training with Absolute Interpreting, delivered personally by the CEO. He is a fantastic trainer: very communicative, kind and easy to listen to. He creates an atmosphere that makes you want to pay attention and learn.

He explains things clearly and uses many examples from real interpreting situations. The training covered important subjects such as safeguarding, professional boundaries, the consecutive interpreter’s role, job requirements and remote interpreting. His practical experience made these subjects much easier to understand.

I also appreciated the Microsoft Teams sessions instead of Zoom. It felt more easy to navigate and I felt closer to the other participants even though we were all online.

There are still some areas where the communication from the office could be clearer, which is why I have selected four stars rather than five.

Overall, the training was interesting, useful and delivered by somebody who clearly has a natural talent for sharing his passion and communicating with people. I am verry happy that I, finally, was given this opportunity to strengthen my interpreting knowledge and skills.

A well run company. Ethics are great and staff generally are polite never found them to be rude and have enjoyed working for them.

This safeguarding course was excellent clear, practical, and delivered by a genuinely knowledgeable and patient tutor who made the whole experience easy to engage with.

Extremely disappointed working for this organisation. It is not well organised at all. The pay rate is very low and on top of that, the finance department is extremely unprofessional and lacks empathy and ethics.

They do not pay on time and just keep delaying it with different excuses. My advice - do not join this company at any cost, you will only waste your time.

The reason I have given 2 stars is because, as an interpreter, I put a great deal of effort into preparing for and delivering my work professionally. However, I feel that the current level of payment does not reflect the amount of work, responsibility and effort involved.

During our training, there was a strong emphasis on professionalism and maintaining high standards. I fully agree with this and always try to follow the rules, provide a professional service and give my best to every assignment. However, professionalism should also be recognised through fair and appropriate remuneration.

My main concern is not the work itself, but the very low level of pay. Interpreting can be mentally demanding and tiring, and I often finish work feeling overwhelmed, especially when I consider that we do not receive sick pay or holiday pay. Given the level of responsibility and effort required, I currently do not feel that the payment is proportionate to the work.

I would ideally like to see the rates increased to around £20 per hour for on-demand interpreting and £30 per hour for video interpreting. I believe these rates would better reflect the professionalism, preparation, concentration and responsibility required for the role.

I cannot speak for other interpreters, but personally, I follow the procedures, take the role seriously and always aim to provide a high-quality professional service. My only significant complaint is the current level of pay.

I hope the company will genuinely consider reviewing the rates, as fair compensation would make a significant difference to interpreters and would help ensure that the high standards expected from us are properly recognised and valued.

I have been working with Absolute Interpreting as a freelance Urdu and Punjabi interpreter, and overall I have had a positive experience with the company.

When I first started, I had no local interpreting experience. Absolute Interpreting gave me the opportunity to get started, assigned me interpreting jobs, and provided support that helped me build my confidence. I genuinely appreciate that they gave me a chance and helped me take my first steps into professional interpreting in the UK.

The work has given me valuable experience, particularly in NHS and public service settings, and I have become much more confident in my interpreting abilities. Another positive is that payments have always been made on time, which I really appreciate.

The main downside is that there aren’t always enough jobs available. In my experience, it is a good option for part-time work or as a side hustle, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my only source of income or expect it to cover all monthly bills.

Overall, I am grateful to Absolute Interpreting for the opportunity, support, and experience they have given me. I would recommend it to anyone looking for flexible interpreting work alongside other employment.

I really felt very welcomed right from the very beginning of our online Training Session ! And I also felt well supported and guided accurately at all times .
The actual Course Content felt very familiar to me ! As I have also already studied that Course material with some other further Course Providers .(Level 3 in Translation and Interpretation ) .I am now moving forward with my Academic Studies and I am moving forward to working with the MOJ and Legal Courts .In addition ,I am also working towards the Police Interpretation and myself .I would really love to continue working with Absolute Interpreting and Translations .As I have detected that they have advanced their Services by far ! And also I do look forward to many further Greek Bookings and Requests covering all Locations ,nationwide !
