I made my first visit to Ableword on behalf of a friend on Wednesday, 3rd August 2022. A member of staff, Helen, was extremely helpful/friendly/diplomatic and with her guidance I was able to purchase exactly what I needed.

My Sister & I visited Ableworld Store Hanley Stoke on Trent with our elderly mum 01/08/2022, we were looking for bath lifts. The Bellavita bath lift had been recommended by a friend of the family.Staff member Jonathan served us & asked how he could help, we explained to him what we were looking for, to which Jonathan then gave us a demonstration of the bath lift in the shop, he was very thorough and showed how it all worked, was very helpful & knowledgeable about the product, even though he'd worked at the store a week. My mum purchased one of the Bellavita baths lifts.

Dawn was very helpful during our first visit to ableworld, she was understanding warm and explained everything we needed to know about the mobility scooter. Dawn also interacted with my mother about grandchild and animals.

Bought rise and recline armchair. During my visit Charline was very helpful. Good range of chairs on display and ready to try. Chose the one I wanted and breezed through the paperwork. Chair delivered 2 days later by very professional gentlemen who made sure all was fine before they left. Thank you very much

Amazing staff Dawn and Charl really went above and beyond to help with a problem with my husbands wheelchair. This is excellent customer service. Can’t thank them enough. Definitely employees of the YEAR!!
Would highly recommend to anyone.

1 star because there was not an option for zero stars. A very unsatisfactory experience over the jubilee weekend. (Also not the only bad experience I've had with this store.) Unhelpful staff at store and head office. Was not kept informed by engineer and no contact from anyone. They were informed the gentleman needed it back before the holiday as it is a necessity for him to get out of the house. After several phone calls by myself I'm unable to obtain any information until Monday when engineer returns!!! Could or would not lend the gentlemen a scooter even though their mistake. Stuck at home for 4 days while everyone else out enjoying themselves. DISGUSTING SERVICE

Dawn was really helpful and kind. Fab service, dad’s reclining chair will be delivered really quickly. I would highly recommend the store, can not fault the staff.

Visited to purchase a scooter, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and didn't leave us waiting at all. A full demo was done of the scooter we left with this purchased. Delivery was due the next day and arrived bang on 11am as promised. Delivery guy was also a friendly chap. Scooter looks lovely, time to take her for a drive =) Thank you to the team and to Helen who was our server.

We visited the store on 21/01/22, we were assisted by Charlene who did an excellent job explaining the features of various scooters. Charlene explained the difference between the models we were interested in and showed us how to dismantle,put together and explained .Charlene did such a good job that we returned to the store on 22/01/22 to purchase a Jolly scooter. The staff who served us today Dawn and Mark both did a great job. You should be very proud of your staff ,Charlene,Dawn and Mark. Many thanks,June and Paul BRAGG.

Wanted to say a big thankyou to Charlene from the Ableworld Hanley store. We brought our dad in to try riser chairs and scooters. Charlene was knowledgeable, extremely good at demonstrating and talking us through various options but also very kind. I dont often write reviews but Charlene gave excellent customer service despite knowing that Dad was unlikely to buy on this first outing at looking at mobility aids. Very impressed.

We needed advice re potential purchase of a mobility scooter. Dawn explained the different types of "lightweight" models, gave us good advice allowing us to ride several models and to fold / disassemble as well as to check if it would easily fit in our small car. We spent an hour at Ableworld and were not pressurised at all but decided to buy and take away our choice at the end of our visit.

Having spoken to a very helpful Charlene on the phone, about my father's bath lift that had stopped working, I went into the store for it to be checked. Mark was absolutely wonderful, testing the old one, sorting out a replacement, showing me how to set the new one up at home. His customer service skills and product knowledge are fantastic and he made my trip to the store a complete delight! Having left an item in the shop, he was also extremely kind and delivered it to my home after finishing work, proving that he really does go the extra mile ... or 2! Thank you so much Mark, I would highly recommend you and Ableworld at Hanley. I hope your managers appreciate what a wonderful ambassador you are for them.

Just a quick thank you to Mark in Hanley. I am a trainer from the local bus company and Mark has promoted the mobility assessments that we carry out. This means that a customer of First Bus finds out that they can travel with their new scooter on our service and the fact that they require a scooter will not stop them from travelling. Mark has made it clear that a free service is available to his customers from First Bus, who will come to your home, assess you on your new scooter and issue you with a pass to travel. Fantasic work Mark, hopfully we can continue to develop this and work together in the future

Visited the Hanley branch on 23/11/21. Lots of stock on hand to look at. Very helpful staff especially Mark. Great customer service, knowledgeable, friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Not purchased anything as yet but will probably in the near future when final decision made!

Purchased a wheelchair for my Mother who has Alzheimers . The staff were exceptional. Warm friendly very helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them . I took a relative to Ableworld in Hanley Stoke on Trent. Dawn was not only very efficient but also patient and showed a natural empathy with my sister in law. We bought what we needed and then the situation changed drastically. I went back to the shop and once again the service was simply brilliant from the manager to the other staff. I cannot recommend this company more highly.

Visited The Hanley Store And was served by Mark. We required a wheelchair for my father who has very limited mobility. The knowledge and care given by Mark was excellent and he gave us great confidence that we had made the right choice without any pressure at all. Would highly recommend.

Both my parents purchased armchairs from here with lots of help and brilliant assistance from Mark. Very lovely and pleasant chap that made it so much easier for them to make the right choice.
