We were looking for a decent leather sofa company online after two disastrous ones from Sofology. Decided to go for a Natuzzi leather - The Forza, and Abitare in Wigan came up at a better price than the Natuzzi shop itself. The shop was a few hours drive from where we live, but it was well worth the time it took to get there. The shop had some beautiful high end things in, at very reasonable prices. Peter, who served us, was really helpful, and was able to answer any questions we asked. As we were ordering leather he told us to expect 12-14 weeks wait, and that delivery would be around September. Last week in August received a call to say sofa would be delivered just after 11am, 31st August. The day arrived, and I received a call from the delivery team to say they would be with us within the hour. They arrived on time, unwrapped the sofas - which look perfect, and they even put some pads on the feet that we’d bought ourselves to protect the floor - not that they needed any really. Great team Ste and Adam, they were polite, professional, friendly, and are a credit to the company!

Only found Abitare recently after looking everywhere for a sofa and was so pleased they could order the one we wanted.
John was friendly and helpful answering all our questions.

Raining in Hull on a Friday afternoon and Neil I think his name was and he was still laughing and joking and making us feel at ease, the sofa that was delivered was absolutely perfect and better than what I expected after purchasing online. Brilliant delivery drivers and a brilliant company to order from.

We live in Hertfordshire but have bought furniture from Abitare (200 miles away!) for the past 11 years because of the great selection and excellent service.

The store has a great selection of furniture from all the top brands. The staff are very friendly, available to offer help and advice, but with no pressure. Special mention to John who helped us over a couple of days via email in designing a new custom fit study, and then spent another few hours with us in store fine tuning everything to our requirements. Very knowledgeable about the products they sell, and very quick in answering questions and queries. Would recommend a visit if you are in the market for good quality furniture.

Found a comfy but funky chair but didn't like the whacky pattern. The manager introduced us to Peter who he said would show us some magic!The magic was a 3D simulator. We looked at the vast amount of fabrics and could then see how they looked on the chair. You can incorporate more then on fabric which we did. We spent ages with Peter who was incredibly patient.Peter advised us to take our time and go home and play around. Now that's a first. A sales rep who lets you walk out without securing a sale! We returned the following day which Peter said was impressive because most people take longer to decide. We opted for a Moon Rise chair which reclines, swivels and rocks. We also choose a Moon XL sofa which reclines. I choose to have the rocker stopped. Place an order but the following day phoned to adjust one of the colours. Not a problem. Today the Fama furniture arrived and I am delighted. Excellent service from start to delivery. Well done everyone.

I have used Abitare a few times over the years and I have to say the service is always consistently excellent, the pricing is very good and they care about their customers, unfortunately very rare today. I keep recommending them to my friends and family!

Had our new Marinelli Sofas delivered today which look stunning, the delivery staff were very polite, careful & considerate and perfectly assembled the sofas together.

If you are looking for quality furniture at a reasonable price then this is the best place to go!! It is amazing, products are top of the range in a really inspiring environment and such a quality service. We bought a corner sofa which is fantastic and made our room perfect, we couldn’t ask for more. Brought my parents back and they were bowled over by the choice, the quality and staff patient and knowledge! Again they bought their furniture from this fab place. I would personally like to thank the owner Philip and Peter who provides excellent customer service and the best coffees! Take a look you will NOT be disappointed.

Today I bought my first couch for my first home and I could not have had a better experience! Meghan looked after me from start to finish and understood exactly what I wanted straight away, so friendly and helpful, can’t fault a single thing 😊

Appalling customer service, was sold a table based on its strength and durability, but without any excessive weight, the top has cracked. Customer service team refuse to do anything about it because the factory state “it’s very strong and nothing would break it”. Now forced to go through home insurance for a clear product fault.

Brilliant from sales to delivery and the delivery drivers are a credit to your company (Neil /Steven) very polite and very helpful. I would most definitely recommend this company to friends and family I have never smiled as much x

We have recently purchased bedroom furniture and an Isa Relax chair. We cannot fault the customer care at all. Paul couldn’t do enough to help and has been in touch with us throughout to ensure that we were happy with the service received.

The chair did develop a fault and this was dealt with efficiently and then professionally repaired.

The staff, including delivery and fitting, have been very friendly and courteous; and go above and beyond to ensure everything is as exactly right.

We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Purchased a quite expensive michael tyler 3 and 4 seater sofa from Abitare approximately 3 years ago.
Over that time the sofas developed two material faults.
Abitare had the sofas sent back to michael tyler for repair then for a full recover
I must point out that this was no fault of Abitare or michael tyler, it was just a rare material fault beyond their control. The sofas have come back with an upgraded fabric and are like new again.

After care and customer service have been fantastic.
We have also in the past purchased Natuzzi sofas for another room approximately 6 years ago with recliners these are still like new.
I am sure that after 3 years other companies would just walk away.
A big thank you also to Mary for the emails and telephone calls keeping us up to date every step of the way.
We will surely be purchasing from Abitare in the near future.
