The bankers were extremely courteous and made me comfortable interacting with them. They have expert knowledge of many aspects of money management. I called to find out my options for a personal loan and was given all the information I needed as well as different options to help with my situation. The representative being honest and helping me find the best product for my situation was appreciated. Service was quick, friendly, and informative.
Do not get a car loan from Fifth
Do not get a car loan from Fifth. Three times they have pulled double payments out of my bank. If you want your money back, then they want you to wait 4 business days and then you need to reach back out to them so they can submit the request. Then, upon the entry of the request, it would take up to 10 business days to return the payment to my account. I spoke with Joseph and Tyler (Supervisor), who were no help at all. They are quick to make mistakes with your money and they give you less than satisfactory options on what to do with your money. Do not get a car loan from them if you don't want extra money coming out of your account and if you expect poor customer service when you call about the mistakes they made.

Worst bank ever. They cost me a lot of money and my transactions never went through on time. Not a good bank for businesses.

On 02/04/2026Hacked!
On 02/04/2026, I was hacked. I went to the branch, after confirming Miranda Briscoe was working. Miranda helped me switch my funds into a new account and recommended added security monitoring through 5th/3rd. Miranda was very helpful in instituting these changes. Miranda is always helpful, friendly and respectful. She has helped me with many complex situations over the past several years, especially regarding the settlement of my parent's estate. Her branch is not the closest to my home, but Miranda is the best and worth the time to go to her branch.
I'm beyond THANKFUL
We experienced an abrupt, unexpected termination of our relationship with our previous financial manager at the end of the year. I decided to stop by the Fifth Third branch, since it was in our neighborhood. I just wanted to get information on banking options for small businesses. I was told the manager Aaron Carney would be happy to sit down with me. I wasn't expecting a manager at all. I had 2 very disappointing experiences at other well known banks earlier that week and they were just associates. Aaron spent at least an hour with me, answering my questions and explaining business service options. He explained we didn't need thousands of dollars to open a business account, as we assumed. When I left, my stress was gone because we could begin to serve our members again. The next day, I received a call from a World Pay rep, who also set us up quickly. I'm beyond Thankful and have already shared Aaron's information with other business owners and our members.
