On a bank holiday. Can not fault him. Absolutely brilliant.

Our heating and hot water went down and we needed an urgent fix. 0800 sent a plumber who replaced the boiler, but despite several follow up visits this didn’t fix the problem. The company then sent an engineer (“our top guy”) who replaced the hot water tank as well.

When our regular plumber came to service the boiler he shut the boiler down immediately as the work done didn’t meet gas safety standards. Nor had 0800 registered the work with Gas Safe, which is basic, standard industry practice.

0800 initially said they wouldn’t do anything. Only after I got Gas Safe involved did 0800 agree to fix their sub standard and potentially dangerous work. This took multiple visits over three weeks. The first work still didn’t meet safety standards and had to be redone. Over a year later we are still having to repair sub standard work at our own expense.

Despite the fact that the original work had been potentially dangerous and the huge disruption caused 0800 refused to pay any compensation.

Lee Duggan was very friendly and efficient. His workmanship was of a very high standard, including the pipework on the boiler. I am very pleased with the result.

Lee installed a new boiler and was very determined to solve an issue with the connection to the app and thermostat. A long day of work but he was very cheerful and diligent throughout,
and resolved all issues before leaving.

Sent an engineer to check out our leaking toilet within hours of posting the job. Paid £120 knowing there was a chance they might need to order parts & return. Engineer couldn't fix it so promised to send an estimate within 48 hours.
5 days later we'd heard nothing so chased. Estimate came in at £671 inc VAT. Seemed high, given the parts were going to be under £100, so I asked for an itemised estimate. They refused, cutting and pasting some really weird stuff about 'value based pricing' & 'agile project management'. I asked again, and since then.... nothing. Will definitely never use them again.

Luke arrived promptly and got straight on with his task (fixing a leak and unblocking kitchen sink pipes). Super polite and friendly, explained what needed to be done every step of the way. He was also very efficient and tidy.

Fantastic service! Dean went above and beyond to help us get our drains descaled- including having to prize the manhole cover up from our kitchen floor in a really awkward place. He was courteous, kept us informed of what he was doing, and left everything clean and tidy. Cannot recommend him enough.

Our heating and water were not working. Home fix sent an engineer the same day (Saturday) and gave us priority as my husband has Parkinsons. He got the system going until the parts needed arrived
He returned Tuesday and gave a thorough overhaul. Now working perfectly. The engineer was fantastic and didn't mind my asking lots of questions about what he was doing. Very helpful and efficient. I cannot praise Homefix highly enough.

Euan did a great job of replacing the flush on an older style toilet He arrived within an hour of the initial phone call and quickly assess the problem once you have the parts He drained cistern And quickly reassembled with the new flush mechanism it now works perfectly the whole job was carried out thoroughly and efficiently so one very satisfied customer

Came at the time he said would, nice and friendly to speak to, was fast in finding the problem and solving it and answered any questions I had regarding the working he was undertaking.

Came to inspect the boiler annual check, very thorough and felt comfortable they were not trying to rip off (as sadly so many in this business do). Everything supported with photos to support their findings.
Fair prices too.

Fast and reliable

This company requires payment upfront. Invoice included services which were not provided (eg removal and re-install WC). Had drawn out discussions to get refund for work not undertaken, but did eventually get partial refund.

I would use a plumber who charges after the work has been done, so that the invoice accurately reflects the actual work.
