On time, on the phone and on the ball.

A good experience today from Faheen and Donnell. I wasn’t around and left my daughter to wait in. They were very courteous and she specifically asked me to rate them. Thank you.

What a wonderful find

What a wonderful find. After two and a bit weeks, Material Things collected, refurbished and recovered and redelivered our sofa set. It’s like brand new at 1/3 of the price of a similar quality new one. Thank you for such a great experience.

Appalling customer service

An addendum to my earlier review. Debenhams replied to my Trustpilot review 1 hour ago pretending that their Customer Service team are on the case. That is a complete lie and they know it. I have had no contact from Customer Service for several weeks. If it wasn’t for the relatively small value I’d take the complaint to Trading Standards but they probably rightly judge that the effort/return is simply not worth it, which makes their response today even more cynical.

Appalling customer service. Item wasn’t delivered. They expected me to search around doorways and tried to abscond responsibility by blaming it one of their marketplace suppliers. To date, no further response from me trying to enforce my rights. Sad, as this used to be a quality high street GoTo brand. Whoever owns them now are slowly destroying what brand credibility is left.

Product Poorly Let Down by Lack of Post Sales Backup

I bought this as it was recommended by Mat Armstrong on his fantastic YouTube channel. The product seems to work generally, but doesn't clear faults as advertised. I tried to raise this through their fault reporting process, which is checkbox formulated and anything unusual like my fault is practically impossible to report. I will also look out for the renewal catch as mentioned by other users.

Fantastic Day Out

A classic Landrover, Gary an amusing and knowledgeable 25 year resident of Lasithi County on Crete, stunning scenery, some old trails that you simply wouldn’t see by yourself and plenty of interesting and unspoilt natural habitat were the perfect day out for our family of 6. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was one of the highlights of our visit.

Petersfield Branch Making It’s Own Laws Up

Shocking and inept handling by Marcus at the new Petersfield branch. My 2 daughters (19 and 18) went shopping for some basics to start Uni life and were challenged on a pair of kitchen scissors. Only the youngest had ID proving her legal right to purchase them, but was refused service, ostensibly on the grounds that her older sister was shopping with her. I was so infuriated, I went in and challenged Marcus who seemed unaware of the law and kept repeating that they had the right to ask anyone under 25 for ID. When explaining that the youngest had indeed produced ID to his satisfaction but was still declined, he was incapable of elaborating whether he or Aldi policy are guilty of gilding the law. Eventually exasperated, i left the store asserting i would take my weekly shop [back to LIDL], to which this inexperienced 21 year old “manager” offered “its ok, we dont really need your business”!!! It’s no wonder the country is broken if young adults are not even allowed to equip their own kitchen and store managers dont understand the laws they are operating under!!!

Is this company still a going concern?

Didn’t deliver. Didn’t arrange to deliver. Didn’t respond to my request to cancel and refund. Had to raise it through paypal. Then they agreed to cancel but refused to refund the money. Now ive had to escalate as a claim through paypal to get my money back. Appalling behaviour.

Worst Managing Agents I’ve Ever Had

My problems with Warwick date back several years, ranging from inadequate staffing that can’t perform the most basic functions to the general style that they operate under. Case in point that prompted me to write this review is an arrears letter I have just had for 2 properties that is not even due until end of September! And that’s after they circulated an apology letter last year for arrears chasing invoices they admitted they hadn’t even issued. They have just had a contract terminated on a large 300+ unit London estate so hopefully they will now have more time to focus on getting the rest of their portfolio serviced properly. To sum up: a complete shambles.
