MASSIVE PRICE INCREASES

I have 3 policy's with direct line & my renewal arrived on 1 of the policy's but I will most certainly not be renewing because of the very unfavourable price I was given.No consideration was given to me even with having the 3 policy's.I would also like to add that there has been no claims on the policy's that would merit such a large increase.I will now look elsewhere for cover when my other 2 policy's are due for renew.I have noticed that Direct line is now owned by aviva so I assume the extra income they hope to generate will help to fund this.I am sure there are many customers who feel the same way I do & I hope Direct line get punished by people not accepting your massave price rises.

In reply to your comments I will never use direct line again because until I looked around for fairer prices did I see how much direct line did not have automatic renew customers loyalty on there quotes & simply hoped-for customers to accept the price.

Not value for money

We booked cherry tree park great yarmouth for a 5 day midweek holiday for the ^Grandkids so I emailed about 5 days previous to make sure I coul book the indoor pool as the online booking system would not allow me to make a booking.I was told that only about 25% of swimming slots were available online so best book when you get on the park.Today we did this & was told that no swimming was available in the indoor pool today Wednesday 28th or Thursday the 29th August.This is the first time I have used Parkdean resorts & it will certainly be the last.I would have expected to take my grandchildren swimming at least once whilst on holiday but parkdean management cherry tree park did not make this possible.If others do what I did & asked in advance about booking a indoor swimming slot please bear in mind that it is certainly not guaranteed & your kids or grandchildren could be very disappointed like mine was.With extra costs involved as we had to take grandkids to a water park so with this extra cost this in my opinion certainly did not make this holiday good value & after looking at other very recent reviews regarding this establishment I am certainly not alone with my thoughts.Thanks for your reply to my review.I do understand that things get busy at times but we was only at cherry tree for 4 days & did everything your website told us to do along with a email because your booking page said no times available??.so what are customers supposed to do to get a 1 hour or so slot for a swim even when we asked on site & was told Wednesday & Thursday was fully booked?? Do you give preference to family's who own Caravans on your sites??We left cheery tree yesterday evening so 1 day early so we could take our grandchildren to a leisure centre on the way home.In my opinion your booking system for indoor swimming is not fit for purpose as it totally failed us on this occasion.

I am sorry to hear you were unable to enjoy our swimming facilities.

We release a percentage of swimming slots online for pre-bookings via the manage my booking portal, and the remainder are available for bookings on park, or walk-in slots. However, these are subject to availability and first come first serve.

Guests feedback is extremely important to us, I will be sure to pass this on to Cherry Tree directly who can look into improving the current swimming timetable. ^EC

Received parking fine whilst shopping in there store.

Parked in a Disabled bay & my blue badge was displayed in the side window before we visited the store in Reading then we received a parking invoice from a company called G24 who alledged we parked without displaying a blue badge.I appealed this invoice & sent G24 proof of my blue badge & copy of our invoice for our shopping in the store.The invoice was for £100 or reduced to £60 if payed in a certain time.I think its very unfair of makro to allow there customers to be treated this way when they are spending money in there store.GOOD RIDDENCE MAKRO.

Having ordered seeds on the 8th of this…

Having ordered seeds on the 8th of this month & they have still not arrived!.I have sent 2 emails asking when they will be delivered & the reply is that they should arrive in a few days??.seeds are sent via a 48 hour royal mail service so should have been here by now.I will now look elsewhere for my plant seeds & hopefully they will arrive on time.!!!!!!Hi just an update it is now Saturday 3.15pm & my order has still not been delivered??Bearing in mind your reply to my review it is now over 4 working days since you gave my order to royal mail even bearing in mind you had my order Monday am.I am sure customers would expect there order to be delivered in less than a week no matter how you word your posting process.

Dear Christopher ,In regard to your review above I think it is only prudent that I should reply with the facts we discussed on the phone this morning
Your order was placed on the 8th March a Friday out of hours ,the order as explained is there fore printed and packed on a Monday and shipped Tuesday from us ,and into Royal mails hands and to there sorting office that evening ,the service you chose was £1.30 for delivery 48 hour tracked ,so Royal mail are still within their time frame to deliver . I trust this clarifies the process in full and that when other customers look at reviews they will realise that the service is not in fact overdue ,but we do appreciate feed back as it represents true reflections of customer expectation.

Bad service

Tried to set up an account for the drop off payment but all the way from applying I have had problems so contacted the chat facility & unless you have hours to waste you have to wait again once you get a reply.Its a bad system that is not fit for purpose.

I recently took out a phone contract…

I recently took out a phone contract with plan .com & asked yesterday when my phone would be delivered, but was told my account manager would call & explain the delay.I took out the contract as i was told the phone would be here by Monday, but my call back did not happen.I called plan .com again today & asked why they did not call me back as they said they would!.I explained to the customer service operator that i was not happy with plan.coms service & wished to make a complaint as at this stage i was then informed that my phone SHOULD be delivered by 4.30 today. The customer service operator said to me that he himself deals with customer service complaints & tried to suggest i was being unreasonable with the fact that it was going to be a delayed delivery time! But i explained that if i had not have called today i would not of even known this because the call back i was waiting for did not happen!
I would not recommend plan.com to anyone Purley based on the service i have received from them.I wish i would have gone into a mobile phone shop & walked out straight away with the phone i wanted as it would have been far less stressful & as it happens a lot cheaper.

Reported breakdown online to RAC about 7 am this morning.I have had countless messages from them saying sorry for delay but we will keep you updated with another message in 30 minutes!!!.Its now 11.30 am & i still have had now visit from the RAC patrol & i am now not very impressed with the service i have been given.The broken down vehicle is parked behind my other vehicle so i can't use that either.Thanks for nothing RAC but my membership is up for renew in december so i will look at alternative companys who can deliver a reliable service who will care for there customers.

Value for money service

Fast repairs were made to my hot water system that had a fault. Engineer arrived same day & diagnosed the problem' that was repaired next day when parts were available.

Did not even want to give 1 star

Did not even want to give 1 star. Wherever I go, I constantly get calls dropping or bad signal. Called them yesterday to complain, as service is not fit for purpose.I am in Selsey & signal is just bad bad, bad. Do not join this crowd as you will be disappointed.

Very fast service from initial phone…

Very fast service from initial phone call to plumber arriving to replace faulty valve. I would recommend your repair to anyone who is thinking about taking out boiler cover. I would also add that the price of my policy was very competitive.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Called home care to report a problem with hot water & was told i had to wait for 7 days for a engineer to visit my property to fix the issue then was told that i needed a certain valve that had to be ordered????? then they would return today 03/05/2021 approx 11.45 to 12.45 to install the faulty part.I then get a call from British gas about 10-10.15 saying that my appointment had been cancelled due to staff not available.I do understand that people do fall ill sometimes but surely they must have arrangements in place to cover instances like sickness etc.I now have already been without hot water for quite some time & now i have to wait even longer for my repair.Anyone considering buying home care should take note of my comments before purchasing boiler / electrical cover as you could easily be treated unfairly like i am.Other people reading this could say why not switch on immersion heater for your hot water but why should i when i have purchased home care cover for problems like this to be fixed in a appropriate amount of time.

Try getting in contact with this company when there is a problem!!!!.YOU WONT as its virtually impossible as they have made it that way.I was waiting in nearly all day yesterday for information as to when engineer would arrive & sort out a problem with installing a new fiber cable to my property.I have still not had a call or message from them to explain why they did not arrive yesterday or when the issue will be put right.Basically i am now out of pocket as i could have had 1/2 day off instead of a full day Thanks for nothing & bad customer service openreach.

Bad service.

wasted over i hour trying to contact edf regarding a new tariff i wanted.both times operator said she couldnt hear me but i have never had this problem from my phone at home so i don't understand the problem.I will now switch my energy provider as i do not wish to waste my time on trying to renew a tariff.EDF you need to get talking to your customers far quicker than you do at present.

Very quick service from point of…

Very quick service from point of reporting breakdown to repairs being carried out.This boiler cover is very good value for money along with great service & i wish i joined them years ago instead of british gas as i would have saved even more money.
