Worst company I have ever dealt with through online purchasing

I ordered seeds from this company on 2nd. February - their order status page shows the order as still awaiting shipment. I have sent three messages over the last month and each time I was told the seeds were about to be dispatched. The last one of these gave a Royal Mail tracking number - but this was not recognised on the Royal Mail system.

In my latest two messages, I have asked for the order to be cancelled and the amount of the total order refunded. The company has not even attempted to respond to these emails.

The net result is that I am out of pocket and I have received no goods whatsover.

The next stage is to contact my financial card supplier, report this transaction as a fraud and ask they seek repayment on my behalf.

If this fails, I will be taking out a county court judgement against this company to obtain repayment and costs for having to do so.

I can only give a one star review - if I was allowed to, I would give them zero.

If you look at the statistics on this page you will see that this company has only ever responded to 7% of negative reviews. Compare this to companies such as "Justseed" - they have responded to 100% of negative reviews within 24 hours. I suspect these positive reviews are not what they claim to be - there are so few of them - whereas the majority of reviews are extremely negative.

My personal recommedation is to avoid this company. I do not know what their issues are - I don't know what their business model is - either way, their ability to take payments from anybody should be suspended. I advise you not part with your money - you will regret doing so.

(Further to writing this note I have carried out research about this company via the UK Government website. In contrast to the company name, the company filings show that this business is operated by one person - the company director - from a house in Nuneaton. The company has made "micro entity accounts" filings in three recent years - which state that the company has zero employees, and turnover and assets that wouldn't even pay an pensioner's annual salary. I advise you to go look up these statistics for yourself. However their product is sourced and packaged - which I don't want to conjecture on here - the person running this "company" is not making much money at all. At best, it is a "hobby" or maybe they are using the limited company status to somehow offset "revenue costs" from elsewhere. So I do now accept why the communication with this one single individual is so poor).

Further information - I have edited this entry as recommeded by Trustpilot following a claim of defamation by the owner of Seedmegastore. Thank you, Trustpilot for your advice.

Subsequent to all of the above, I have now received an email from Seedmegastore suggesting that my money will be refunded. This has not yet happened, and I promise I will adjust this entry once it has been.

Update: 12/2/2025 Refund received. Thank you. This ends my interest and any dealings with this company.

Contacting Customer Loyalty

Yesterday, I was reminded by Gigaclear of my contract ending in early January.
I had one minor issue with my billing that I took that up with the customer loyalty department - which I am pleased to say was rectified almost immediately.
I have now been using Gigclear for just under two years and I am completely satisfied with the service provided.
I found that the provided Linksys router did not meet my home needs and so I purchased my own mesh WIFI equipment which was completely compatible with their service and has worked extremely reliably. In fact I have not had one single unplanned outage since. I also carried out a significant number of speed tests during the installation of this mesh and I found that I regularly received the advertised level of service on all devices capable of receiving this speed everywhere at my property (which includes outside at the end of the garden).
It was only because I needed to discuss a matter that I needed to contact Gigaclear at all over the duration of the current contract.
Thank you, Gigaclear, I look forward to receving this excellent service for the duration of my renewal contract and probably beyond.

4 stars for implementation

4 stars for implementation. 5 stars for network performance. The installation team were methodical and laid the cable as advised. Little evidence of where the cable was laid. Team tidied up everything as they went along. The installation of the NTE, cable splicing etc. went well. The one star was lost because the existing network cabinets had not been powered up and synced and it took an additional two hours for this to happen. Since then, the network has performed at contracted speed and is reliable.

This one star rating should be a Zero rating

Contacted this company two days ago concerning my Sony TV which fails to operate. Was immediately told to contact supplier. They were not even interested to ask when the product was sold by them.

Recommend that you write directly to this company asserting your rights under consumer protection legislation as the first communication when dealing with them.

I can see that you purchased your Sony TV 1 year and 8 months ago. As a retailer we cover you for faults within the first 28 days of purchase, following this point, the manufacturer cover you for the remainder of your warranty.
