Monitoring of advisory comment made on MOT pass certificate
On 25.11,25, the date when my car passed it's MOT, I arranged to take it in again on 13.1.26 for an investigation of an advisory - Oil leak but not excessive in front lower engine.
The investigation lasted about 2 and a half hours and included a road test drive. The advice given - which I accepted - was to return for another check in April/May.
My only comment relates to the customer service agents I saw. I spoke to 2 different agents. The second one (see next paragraph below marked *) who finalised my paper work wasn't as experienced as the first one. He needed support from another (3rd agent) to help me understand fully the options available to me.
* the second agent had moved from working in the car shop to his new role within the last 6 months.
I prefer, and have greater confidence in the garages customer service if it enables me to see only 1 agent during the full duration of my wait.
