Moving to a new city and being first-time homebuyers, my husband and I needed objective, transparent advice on how to navigate this transition in our lives. We couldn't be more thankful to have come across Zoe Financial, as we ultimately relied on their process to find the perfect fiduciary advisor for us and our situation. I was skeptical about using any kind of online service to find a financial planner (feared an upsell) but I gave it a chance and so glad I did. I got a call and told the guide exactly what I was looking for, which was a financial plan to guide me to retirement, but I wasn't looking for a long-term advisor or investment advice. He then sent me three excellent recommendations and I chose a certified financial planner based out of Phoenix that turned out to be a wonderful experience. Susan Koe of Better Money Decisions and I had a few Zoom calls and then she presented my comprehensive plan to me within 7 days! She answered all of my questions and was a wonderful source of advice. I would definitely recommend this service.

I got very little help
I got very little help. I got charged $365 and there was almost nothing told to me that I didn't already know. The advisor was on vacation the week prior to our meeting and I don't think he spent a lot of time analyzing our financial situation. He did not leave us with any paperwork. He did not look at our allocation of Investments and did not make a one time recommendation! I think I would like my money back or at least part of it!

Wish there were more female and POC advisors to choose from. I interviewed three FAs (two white men, one white woman). They were all professional, but one of the men seemed unsure of how to connect with me because my wealth was (1) not generational and (2) not in the millions…yet. I ended up choosing a female FA because she was interested in helping with my life goals and retirement timeline just as much as my fiancé’s.
