I have used Stephen for 3 surveys, level 2 and 3 and find him approachable and easy to communicate with as he explains everything and his rationale. I would highly recommend him.

what thought was a dream home
I’ve found a lovely house that looked amazing with no obvious issues. But as a precaution , I’ve searched for a surveyor hand found Stephen. That will be the luckiest day of my life: he saved me £40,000 in repairs that that house was going to bring me as a “package” if I was going to go ahead and purchase it (!!!) . Thank you Stephen, I owe you one !! :)

Youngs Home Surveys - Fantastic
As first time buyers, buying a house can be really daunting and confusing. We came across Youngs Home Surveys on Compare My Move after putting in a few details about the property we were buying. Stephen was one of the first to get in touch with us and provide us with a quote. From the get-go Stephen made us both feel at ease and provided us with answers to our many questions! The reason we went with Stephen was due to his flexibility around our needs and wants so that we felt entirely satisfied with the service we were receiving. He was extremely responsive while keeping us in loop through each step.
The survey itself was really informative and detailed. He left ‘no stone unturned’ which is exactly what we were looking for when making such a large purchase.
I would 100% recommend Youngs Home Surveys to anyone in Greater Manchester looking for a surveyor. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Stephen. Thanks again Stephen!

Stephen Young conducted a survey on a house im currently in the process of buying he did a fantastic job. He's been very responsive. The survey itself was carried out promptly, very detailed with photos of and all details of the survey. A very efficient service at a very fair price. I would definitely use him again. I would recommend Stephen to anyone who wants a survey done in the Greater Manchester area.

Just superb.
This is my first experience of buying a home and was fortunate indeed in engaging the services of Youngs Home surveys. Stephen was very patient with me during my torrent of questions and concerns and had the happy ability to explain complex things in a way that made it easy to understand. Stephen was thoroughly professional throughout and put my mind at ease during the process, I would genuinely recommend Youngs Home surveys to anyone buying a home.

Survey review
Stephen was really person centred in regard to completing my survey. I work full time in a stressful climate, so he would send me text messages in the evening to communicate with me what he done and what paperwork I had to fill in. The survey report itself was very robust though out, which surprised me as it was only £350. Stephen also kept me informed on deadlines and constantly checked in with me to see if everything was ok. He also organised the survey a couple of days after I telephone him and it ha truly been a pleasure to work with him.

Fantastic service
Would definitely recommend using Young Home Surveys. From the initial phone call I felt comfortable and confident with my decision. Stephen booked me in really promptly and kept me updated throughout the process. Once the report was emailed to me and I'd had a chance to read it, Stephen answered any questions I had, and explained things thoroughly that I didn't understand. As a first time buyer who is learning a lot as I go, Youngs Home Surveys made everything really easy and simple for me.
