I’ve been using Zocdoc for a while…
I’ve been using Zocdoc for a while because it’s easy, but I had a conversation with my doctor today that completely changed my mind. I am honestly disgusted by how this company treats healthcare providers.
I found out that every time we book on Zocdoc they charge the doctor a massive fee ($90 or more) just for the referral, not only that but they still charge the doctor even if I cancel the appointment!!
I’m deleting this app. I’m not okay with my healthcare provider being shaken down just so I can have a "cool app".

Friendly doctor and staff
The pediatrician and staff were very friendly and attentive. The doctor was very patient with my 12 year old. She was encouraging and empathetic which my child appreciated immensely.

I was pleased to find a comprehensive list of local doctors on Zocdoc. Details, including a picture of the professional, where they were educated, and a bit about their personal style, are much more helpful than seeing a name in a long list of names. I was able to select a local MD and schedule an appointment right on the website.
