Ordered a gasket having carefully checked the part number etc. Waited two weeks for delivery but it was the wrong thickness. Tried contacting them via phone and e mail but no response. However did get an e mail asking me to complete a survey which I did with a one star response for poor communication. Can’t recommend them and will not be using them again.

Abysmal service. Ordered nearly a month ago and nothing has been posted or delivered, emailed customer services and received no response. Can't raise a bank claim until 30 days have passed. It's very clear they sell parts that are out of stock. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered item 2 weeks ago, not received. No communication when trying to understand why. Triwd via email twice and also tried calling countless times.
Standard voicemails " we dont have anyobe to answer your call" despite trying a different times of the day.
Do they exist, have they merely taken my money?
Significant concerns here for me.

Do not order from this place!! They will not tell you on their website whether items are in stock but they then claim they can take weeks to ship an order if it is not in stock. It’s been three weeks and the items have not even been shipped.
I have sent three emails and they won’t reply. I have called them numerous times and they won’t answer the phone. Do not order from them!

I like many others have fallen foul of this company of scammers. They do not answer the phones they do not respond to e mails. They do not care about consumers statutory rights or the online selling laws. I bought an item and have received no correspondence as to when I will receive my item. Took my money and run!! I have cancelled to transaction within days and have now left it in the hands of the bank to recover the amount and also reported these ........ to Notts Trading Standards and Matt Allwright .

Can’t get hold of anyone and no response to email enquiries regarding outstanding order. If you have an item on back order (which is not clear when ordering) all you know is that it can take up to 14 working days for delivery. I’m now on day 14 and status still says pending and can’t get an update. All the while the grass is growing

Ordered a carb and heard nothing re delivery. E Mailed - no response. Called- no answer. E Mailed cancellation requesting refund - no response. Emailed a week later - no response. Eventually had to refer to card provider. Don't give them your business, they take orders giving the impression that parts are held in stock when they aren't. The worst of companies note the average rating on TP.

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with, no communication, do not tell you if a part is in stock, do not reply when contacted. Shop around for somewhere else to buy your garden equipment.

Ordered a lawn tractor and heard absolutely nothing for 3 weeks until I chased them. They answered and said that the manufacturer was awaiting delivery......?
I heard nothing for a further 2 weeks, so emailed them and demanded a refund.
They are selling items that they do not hold in stock and fail to tell you that they have no stock. Obviously just taking peoples money, acting as the middle man and providing ZERO customer service.
I will be ordering a new lawn tractor from my local dealer - AVOID world of mowers at all costs, worst company I have ever dealt with.

This company is a scam.
I ordered a hedge trimmer fuel filter. Nothing was sent so I emailed them to chase it. No reply what so ever.

World of mowers are the best for old classic mountfield lawnmower I got an old rv40 mountfield lawnmower order the parts they come next couple of weeks best place to get parts for old lawnmower.

My order was classified as pending for over two weeks. No response from WOM via their online contact form, 3 x phone calls chasing delivery date but just got through to an answer message advising they were busy and I would need to call back. Very poor service and no stock. Purchased the same items from a competitor and they arrived the next day. Won’t be trying WOM again.

SELF-TAPPING SCREW M6 x 16
I expected 16 screws. 1 arrived. I phoned up: "you only ordered one".
"I ordered 1x16"
16 is a measurement. You ordered one. If 16 is a measurement it needs a unit of measurement after it! Eg mm.
Without that it's a unit of quantity.
I went to screwfix and bought 100 similar enough to do the job..... for 1p more. Anybody want 97?

Ordered part seventeen days ago and still waiting have sent 3 emails now and none of them have been replied to as yet so hopefully this will get me somewhere

Mower parts very easy to find on the schematic - easily identified and numbered.

Delivery within an acceptable time frame.

I ordered a new bearing for my Mountfield hedge cutters in early December last year. My account was debited. I have received nothing from WOM since. No confirmation, nothing despite emails.
HA HA! Thank you TP. The day after this review WOM decided to act and the ordered part is supposed to be delivered today. Fingers crossed. JS

Reviewing Trustpilot reviews for this company reveals small orders are dealt with competently but large order reports can be very bad.
Repeatedly there are reports of money being paid, items not available and reviewers repeatedly not getting refunded in a timely fashion.
I would avoid this company.
I required a hedge cutter that I knew was in short supply because of the season. I placed a web order on a Friday evening and was careful to take a screenshot of the website showing the item was labelled 'in stock'.
Telephoning on Monday morning to confirm the order it transpired the item was not in stock.
I requested an immediate refund and was not politely addressed.
The website also suggests that out of stock items could be supplied within 14 days. I had contacted the wholesaler and stock would not be available for 6-8 weeks earliest and other retailers were in a queue.
I repeated to World of Mowers that I required a refund and was promised a refund.
Two weeks later no refund had been made to my credit card and I was £599 out of pocket.
It seemed to require a 'signed for' Royal Mail letter to prompt the refund, which appeared on my credit card statement the day I went online to claim a cashback refund after 30 days under my legal rights.
I would only advise shopping in person here. I am the third reviewer in three months reporting on Trustpilot significant purchases not fulfilled and delays in recovering refunds.
Conclusions might be drawn from this.

Quick delivery of the ordered part got my mower back to cutting 👍

Sent pictures of my existing grass box and they were able to advise which parts I needed - great service

Detailed and accurate.
As per usual excellent service good quality and s good price rapid delivery

Found mower part details reasonably easily. The right part arrived but it took a couple of weeks.
