Well planned and excecuted with wonderful experiences along the way

Excellent experience all round, wonderful guide, excellent accommodation and food, wonderful scenery!

Jo was a great guide, able to offer different experiences for different levels.

Very personable- they listened to our requirements and met them all. When one thing went bad, they responded very quickly and rectified the issue.

Excellent accommodation- very comfortable with great food. A beautiful place.

Our guide, Ben, greeted us with a wide smile and a manner of having all the time in the world,
while at the same time full of energy for the upcoming adventure. He made our transfer to the
van seamless, although we must have been like a gaggle of geese, all from different flocks.
I was along with my husband, Peter and planned to stay behind at the Seatoller House to work
and take my own walks, as I have a very arthritic knee. This was a delight. Our room had a large
window that looked out onto a beautiful garden, forest and stream, full of birds. I even had a
walking companion, Meg, who is a delightful Border Terrier.
The staff of the hotel was simply brilliant. Nigel was efficient and seemed to think of everything
to ease our stay. Trish is a brilliant chef. Our meals were 5-star delights. Meal time conversation
amongst our diverse group (Ireland, New York, Montreal, Hawai`i) was interesting and at times
hilarious.
But if I had to point out just one factor that made this trip wonderful, I’d have to say it was Ben.
He is vastly experienced and has a deep historic knowledge, both local and world-wide. But
most of all, he has something we call Aloha in Hawai`i.

Interesting itinery and places to visit and stay. Good tour leader who was obliging and helpful.
I didn't appreciate our accomodation provider putting in a 'service fee' onto our drinks tab which was a sneaky way of charging a 10% tip without clarity or consent on us being agreeable to that.

(1) our guide, Lucy Vincent, did a great job guiding our walks, shepherding our daytime and evening activities and meals, and making sure that all our needs and concerns were addressed. (2) our overnight accommodations were adequate and comfortable- especially our last inn in Carbis Bay- Boskerris Inn.

The second time we have booked with this company. Straightforward, simple and quick.

Every day of this experience got even better. Was truly a great experience.

Guides were great - kept an eye on everyone and how everyone was doing. I felt they went the extra mile to help. Bikes were comfortable and made the whole ride doable and enjoyable. The Cotswolds were just so beautiful - would have liked more time to stand and stare, but timetable to keep to, so .....
I have already said this too, I would have liked more choice in food/veges as was hard to avoid dairy and pork. But fresh fruit in second hotel was excellent.

The guides made our trip exceptionally memorable with their in-depth knowledge of the area. They had great relationships with all the hotel and restaurant staff and it showed in the service we were getting. Local guides make the difference.

Our guide Steve, was incredible. So much knowledge about the area. When members of our group became ill, he was able to scale back our hiking and still provide wonderful experiences. The accommodations were excellent and the food was fabulous.

What made our experience great? JEREMY, our guide. He is knowledgeable, flexible, genuine, and FUN! The Cotswold countryside is beautiful, but it truly came to life for us with Jeremy’s local insights.
