Excellent staff, personal booking slot. Very efficient, friendly yet professional. Shoes and boots are of amazing quality and fit like a glove. I am diabetic and suffer lymphoedema and really struggle to get shoes to fit me. These are life-changing.

Having bought too many pairs of shoes that were too long in length to accommodate my wide feet, I thought enough was enough. I was fairly close to the Rushden factory visiting family, I decided to go and have my feet measured, (something I have not done since being a child). I made an appointment to visit the store at the factory warehouse.

What a delight the 2 assistants were. Having measured my feet, only to discover I was a size 5 not size 6! I had a good look at ankle boots, and chose 2 different styles. Andes and Sleaford.
The ladies were patient, allowed me to try on, walk about the store in both pairs of boots, for as long as I wished to, before deciding on any purchase. (which was not forced or pressured).

They even called across to the warehouse to get the desired colours, because they did not have the ones I had chosen to hand in my size.

I then tried on the boots in the colours I preferred, again, taking my time, walking about the store to be sure of comfort and fit.

Once I had decided on my purchases, (yes I bought both styles, but different colours), the ladies asked if I had any diagnosed illnesses which would have indicated that my purchases were VAT free. Their approach was not at all intrusive, or judgmental.

Added to the VAT enquiry reduction, the items I intended to purchase, were also with 25%off purchase price.

At the end of the transaction, the ladies advised me to put the boots on at home, (without going outside), and make sure that they were to my satisfaction. Also advising that I had 14 days to make sure I was happy with my purchase, and if I was not, provided I had not worn the boots outside or cut off the additional strap lengths, I could use the label they gave me to return the boots for a full refund or different style.

It was an excellent experience, from start to finish, and I cannot recommend the company, products I purchased and especially customer service, highly enough. Whoever said "old school customer service" had gone by way of the dinosaurs, had not been to DB Widerfitshoes!

I visited the DB shoe fitting centre for the first time last week and I can honestly say it won't be my last. I have wasted so much money over the years trying to find shoes that would accommodate my wide feet and bunions. A shoe shop on Oundle recommended them and it was an absolute revelation!
The two ladies were so nice and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. I bought trainers and walking shoes and trainers and it is like walking on air. I wish I had found you sooner.
Once again ladies, thank you for your help and I can recommend you 100%.

excellent service. Had one hour appointment with Carol. I went over time as it was difficult to find correct shoe for my very awkward shaped foot. She was so pleasant and helpful through out and eventually through extreme perseverance found me a shoe I could manage myself.

Knowledgeable staff - thanks Sue - assisted the feet measurement and then used their experience to guide the shoe choice, whilst always being mindful of my needs and personal tastes. Always willing to help trying on a few pairs so I knew what was the right choice for me!

My wife and I booked appointments for fittings for us both. The 2 ladies who looked after us were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them.
We will certainly return when we need our next new shoes.

We were given a very warm welcome even though we unwittingly arrived without the necessary appointment. We were fitted in, properly measured and provided with plenty of advice and information. There was a good selection of stock, reasonably priced and readily available. The two pairs purchased seem to be of high quality and are the most comfortable footwear I've had for a very long time. Sadly not happy with the DB men's mule slippers I purchased....Bought them a while ago as a spare pair and tried them for the first time yesterday....They are most definitely not worth the £59 I paid....Not even worth half that in my opinion....Wore them once and threw them asI am unwell and cannot easily return them, so must sadly lose out on this purchase...

Always they are out of sizes and they try to push and sell all the leftovers . I did order a pair of shoes and they never contacted me to let me now it’s out of stock and they don’t know when they ll have it back. I rang to ask what’s going on with my order when they informed me. Then I order a different color which wasn’t matching the kriteria widewise and I sended them back asking for a wider at any color. I rang to ask if I should place the next order before the shoe is gone. They told me I didn’t have to. After 1 week they rang me to exchange the shoes as they completely they run out of any sizes and widths in the style I was interested.

I have recently ordered a pair of shoes for my aunt for her birthday. As this was the first time I used DB shoes, I ordered the wrong size. I send it back for an exchange but these shoes by then were no longer available. Tracey from DB shoes called, gave me a good advice for a similar pair that was available, which my auntie actually prefers. The customer service received from Tracey was outstanding. I then decided to buy a pair for myself. When it arrived, which was very quick, they included a catalogue. On browsing through, I spotted another pair which I thought might be more suitable. But I only needed one pair of shoes. When calling them, I was given yet another good advice. The lady suggested that I could order the second pair and try them both on and then return the one that might not be suitable. What a good advice this was. I did just that. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.
I have recently dealt with some big organisations and I have to say they should learn from DB shoes how to provide an excellent customer service. Impeccable. Thank you DB shoes.

Received my wide fit new balance trainers in 3 working days they are fantastic, they fit really well and are so comfortable I will definitely use wide fit shoes for all my trainers.

I have been a retailer of this company for 6 years. In the beginning we just could not understand their sizes and so therefore I returned some stock in the first year which was excepted on my gold account. After the received my returns they got defensive with me and took my gold account off me whereby I was entitled to return any stock. I have pushed their brand and gone out of my way for their customers, even delivering them myself to their door. I asked twice for my gold account back and they refused. The “spoke”at me at the shoe show in Birmingham and treated me like a stranger. I am now very poorly and asked the company if they would take as a good will gesture 10 pairs of shoes back out of our 245 pairs that we stock. The management said no. I am appalled at this company, they have no compassion for their customers, retailers or staff. I have been very poorly and they have done nothing to support me. If you can buy elsewhere then please do . I cannot associate myself with this false brand anymore. They are all about the money, their delivery service is too slow and they are way over priced. Trust me so know all of the management team and they don’t have an ounce of empathy between them, apart from Sarah. I sent them an email asking them to close my account as I was so upset with them not offering to help me and not one of them has replied. Please buy somewhere else… comfy feet, Hotters, Vionic, G Comfort anything but them. If I can stop one customer then I’ve done my job here.

Edit: The story is correct - you didn’t like my returns so took my gold account off me! You have not had to work hard with me.? I purchased your shoes and I paid you up front on every order!! I did all the hard work by selling them and pushing your brand. You could not even have the decency to respond to my emails - shocking customers service .

I recently bought a pair of Sinead trainer style shoes. They are very comfortable but I am extremely disappointed with the look. The leather has wrinkled at the base of the lacing area in an ugly fashion.

Like another 1 star reviewer I purchased some shoes several years ago but since then I have been inundated with catalogues, which arrive every few weeks. I am very aware of the wastage of paper this causes.

I have tried all ways to cancel these but they keep sending them.

I have tried to contact their Customer Service but I have to agree to receive their marketing.

I am not sure what more information you need I haven’t purchased anything from you apart from the initial purchase. I think my best bet is to return each post back to you and let you take care of the rest.

Great to see some modern styles this season. My blue/pink plaited sandles 6-8v absolutely beautiful. I can finally wear my linen dresses, shorts and trousers and feel dressed up with my sandles. Just ordered toe post sandles which are so difficult to get for my very wide feet. One very happy customer. Trainers always very comfy too, had a couple of different pairs and been really pleased with them.

Quite pleased with the two pairs of shoes I ordered but unfortunately I forgot to use the 10% off voucher in both cases.

From start to finish nothing but praise for the quality of service and the actual boots themselves. Very helpful and professional response to my initial enquiry.
