Thank you for the great service! Went to get some black out blinds, couldn’t find them so asked and taken straight to them by Carrie. Very efficient!

Helped in store by a young man named Tom . He could not have been more helpful . Went and sourced a trolley for me and even offered to load up the sand bags I was to purchase . A credit to his parents .

I have hitherto looked on Wickes as my “go to” diy supplier but recent events have sadly changed my view.
I recently bought five bags of ready mixed concrete and , when I went to use them, two of them were virtually solid blocks of concrete and were unusable. Clearly they had been stored in damp conditions and had gone off.
I tried to complain via telephone (waited for 20 minutes for a response and then was cut off) and then I tried complaining via email - this did get a “tell us everything” response but when I tried to reply and received repeated “invalid email address” responses so gave up.
I have today visited the store concerned (Wrexham) and gently complained. After spending over £1000 at their store over the last two weeks I expected some sympathy. The response was “we can’t do anything unless you bring the defective products back” Seriously?
Wickes expected me to drive 20 miles with two useless bags of concrete because they don’t trust my word.
Sorry, but this is not customer services it is rip-off city.
I won’t be going back - There are plenty of other diy suppliers out there.
Update following Wickes’ reply: why don’t you just refund me £30 for the defective products?

Ordered on line and agreed a deliver date. Scheduled morning off work to wait for delivery. Received text to confirm appointment.. Appointment time went by without any contact from Wicks. Called three different office's in Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, chasing my delivery. Finally got through to someone to be advised driver is late can we leave your items outside! Couldn't do this due to the items they were and the wet weather. I needed to cancel afternoon clients to wait for delivery. Extremely poor standards, poor communication and customer journey. Will be ordering elsewhere in future due to the loss of earnings having to cancel clients to accommodate this extremely poor service

Shout out to Marcus, he was extremely helpful and explained what I needed to do. Marcus was knowledgeable and calm as he completed the order online for me.

Went into store today to pick up a rather large order after the system failing multiple times to process our order online. Alex did an amazing job helping us with what we needed and went above and beyond! This is the 2nd awkward order and the 2nd member of staff going out of their way to help! Well done Wrexham store!

Great customer service from Chloe Tadam went the extra mile to get worktops out of racking.

Have a large project to complete which also needed the right hardwood board thickness. I bought 9mm thickness but returned it to swap for 18mm. Wickes assistant Charlie was fantastic! Very helpful, made sure I got what I needed, helped find items I couldn't etc. also great to have had a discount also for bulk purchases.
Also spent more on paint and related stuff this week too.

Waiting for delivery of stones and decking from Wrexham branch and then received call saying their delivery contractors haven't turned up and wouldn't be available for another two weeks. Two of us booked a holiday to complete the job but the 'non' delivery team at Wrexham explained that this is a regular occurrence because they deal with contractors. Absolutely disgusting customer service and care.

Sian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the visiting and design process. She was completely open and engaging with our suggestions and provided thorough explanations of design, pricing and next steps. Highly recommended and a credit to her employer.

Beth made this whole process easy and personal. She instinctively knew what was required and took time to listen and guide.

Very professional approach as soon as we met the design consultant. Made to feel very comfortable on making our decisions, very informative and and sensible advice given.

We’ve just ordered a new kitchen from Wickes, Wrexham branch. Beth Whitehand, our design consultant, was brilliant. She was very patient and helpful, suggesting and advising us on colours of cupboard doors, worktops and makes of appliances. We had a really positive experience choosing our new kitchen.
