Michelle at Wickes supported our school project to develop an outdoor area by providing us with £100 to spend on materials in store. This has been invaluable in getting our project completed.

Michelle at wicks Telford is amazing! We needed help with getting some handles and nails etc for making a poly tunnel, so the community can enjoy fresh fruit and veg at the local Telford Town Park. As we rely on help and have no income due to being volunteers (Friends of Telford Town Park) we reached out to Michelle and was shocked she was able to support us. We are truly greatful and can’t thank you and Wicks enough for your help by supplying what we needed to help finish the project. Great community spirit. Even had a look round the kitchens and bathrooms while there, wow they are stunning and surprised how cheap they are for the quality.

Wickes Telford were so supportive of me as a customer and member of local community group. They helped with appropriate product advice and went out of their way to support our local community project. Thank you so much

The Telford Store keeps accurate stock records, which was a big relief, as part of the shelving I required was held in their storage area. My experience was a very good one, with polite, helpful and pleasant staff. This was in contrast to my miserable experience the day before with online ordering, where the same goods could not be delivered, even though I had paid. This was because the Wrexham store had not kept current stock records for the oak shelves I required, which caused me a lot if time and grief to sort out, with the onus being on me to obtain a refund for part of the order that was coming from central stores. Saying that, my experience with telephone customer support for the refund was excellent. So, for a larger order, in the future I will not use the online delivery service, as I was let down badly, but drive the 30 miles or so to Telford instead.

As a school we have a tight budget and we were looking for help to transform our reception garden so that it could be used once again. We contacted Wicks to ask if they had anything they could spare and we were very excited to hear that they would happily donate to our project. They generously donated a Keter Maxi storage, Trellis planters and play bark.
Delivery was very quick too.

Jon was exceptionally helpful. I'm doing my bathroom by myself, and we asked Jon for some help. He was so smiling and helpful with everything we asked for. Amazing person, we need more people like him!

Wicks laminate flooring is the worst flooring I have ever come across , been in building trade over 30 years now as a chippy , there flooring comes apart once you have payed it down , as you have to leave expansion gap all round , the smaller joints just pop out , absolutely rubbish , customer had down stairs done by another chippy and that was the same , from wicks again , be aware better off going to b/q as never had a problem with there flooring .

Karen was exceptional with customer service and also the lady with curly hair.
They were very helpful as I had no receipt but nothing was too much for them.

In particular, Marta went above and beyond to assist me in finding the right materials for my project. Their product knowledge, patience, and willingness to ensure I left with exactly what I needed made a big difference.

It’s rare to come across such attentive and customer-focused service, and it turned what could have been a stressful shopping experience into an enjoyable one. Kudos to the entire team at Wickes for maintaining such high standards. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending your store to others.

Lovely clean store and helpful staff advising me on some hardware I wanted to purchase. Checkout was efficient and friendly.

Always quality advice and service from staff. Store is tidy and I can usually find what I need but the store staff are happy to help me if I can’t. The manager Steve was very helpful when we replaced the bathroom and I needed advice on tiling/adhesive etc.

Richard in the kitchen design department was very helpful and designed a great bespoke kitchen. I was installing it for myself and it all went according to plan. Thank you Richard.

I am currently looking to replace my kitchen and one of my first visits was to Wickes. Unfortunately the first store (Shrewsbury) told me to come back another day. The second store (Telford) had me wait a week for an appointment. After the wait the chap turned up 45 mins late (I had left work early to get there for the only time he could make). After just over a week since his visit we chased the store for the promised quote. They called us back the next day and we were told we would have to start the process again.

I have a design in mind and would be more than willing to price the project myself for the "materials" but you refuse to supply any form of price list.

This is just too difficult!

Initially out of anger and annoyance I wanted to give a 1/5 but on reflection I do use the store occaisionally with me xed experience so I have given 2/5

Bought a kitchen , paid in excess of 26k cash, installation should of been 3 weeks max. Fitter did terrible job, took photos went back to wickes and they agreed to send someone else. Heard nothing got in touch with human resources and they said they would resolve this issue. They haven't. They said they had allocated a fitter to fix all the issues and I would hear from him. Nothing I have asked for compensation so that I can source independent fitter and they will consider this. Independent fitter won't touch it as it will void my warranty, this is now taken 6 months and I don't have a functioning kitchen

We had our design appointment today with Richard Hunwick who was very knowledgeable and gave us fantastic advice. He was very patient when we had differing ideas and showed us options to meet our needs, even laughing at our terrible jokes! Overall a fantastic service, highly recommended

The staff is very helpfull at all the time specially Chris Grewal in the Telford store (sorry if I didn’t spell your name correctly)

Many thanks to Karen for all her help today at the Telford branch helping me sort out the paint that I needed as couldn’t find the one I needed but she was there to help me and my wife in what I needed many thanks for you help
