Catherine the lady who was at the customer service desk was very helpful and dealt with my problem very quickly

Meg at the Telford store was absolutely fantastic helping us with our stone order. She made a very difficult bulk purchasing process possible. Credit to Meg for her patience and willingness to place multiple orders for us. Wickes you really do need to sort out your ordering system to make it easier for your customers and colleagues alike. Credit to Meg for her perseverance, thank you.

The quality of the bark itself is excellent. No smell to it and no signs of mold which has been my experience from other suppliers in the past. The price was really good, 3 x 100L bags for £30, I bought six. There was a problem when my partner laid the bark, there was some contamination in the bags, which were shredded pieces of coke/pepsi cans, some broken pieces of a blue house brick and a small piece of glass. We bought the bark to create a soft play area for our young grandchildren and we also have pets so this was a major safety concern. I contacted Wickes yesterday and reported this as I was worried that other people may buy it for the same use as us and someone may end up getting hurt. I was messaged this morning and spoke to a guy called Andrew from customer services. I sent him some pictures and he said that they would treat the matter as serious and that they would be taking steps to contact the manufacturer and make them aware. I am impressed by their immediate response to my concerns.

Went into Wickes today with my brother and a lovely lady, Katherine, helped us with our questions. Instead of us wandering around trying to find what we wanted she guided us to the areas that were relevant. Both Katherine and other members of staff were really helpful and knowledgeable - many thanks:)

I made a click and collect for a large number of pine moulding trim. When collecting I noticed that they were not all identical and were mixed sizes/shapes. The storage box in store appeared to have been mixed up. Phil apologised and spent time to find and check the order and locate the correct mouldings. He was thorough, approachable and chatty. A great example of top customer service to correct an error. Thank you Phil 😁

Wickes have been absolutely wonderful. Their community scheme is everything you’d hope it would be, genuine, generous, and rooted in real care for local people. We were blown away by the support they offered our little community garden project. A special thank you to Michelle, the Operations manager, who was an absolute star. She was kind, helpful, and genuinely interested in what we were trying to achieve.Thanks to Wickes and Michelle, we now have the tools and materials we need to keep our shared space thriving. Phil (Telford store) was very polite and helpful sorting out my issue with pipes that I needed for downpipe on my house. Helped carried ordered items out to the car. Gave detailed explanation how they worked and extra items I needed to assist with said job.

Excellent service from Nicholas at Wickes, probably the best customer service I've had in years at any establishment. Truly excellent.

Super fab Customer Experience today. Didn’t know which stones to buy and Kyle S gave me a full overview of colours and types available. Then … kindly helped me load 5 bags of them onto the trolly! Will be back again soon thanks 😊

At the end of January 2026 we wanted our kitchen replaced. We checked with various suppliers and in early February we visited Wickes in Telford. We had excellent advice from the Design Consultant Nick Butler and he came to our house measured and advised if what we and was possible. Nick was efficient helpful and had a lovely sense of humour (including about our need to store our herb and spices in Marmite jars). Nick was a star! The design he presented us with was exactly what we wanted.
A date was arranged for delivery of the units and on that date we were kept informed of the arrival time. John Jo and Jim who did the delivery were courteous on time and professional. Every item was bar coded off the delivery vehicle and stored where we wanted them placed.
On the 27th April the fitter John Haddon arrived with his assistant Dan and started removing the old and replacing with the new. During the fitting John Haddon noticed two small flaws in the cupboard doors and he Informed me that they would be replaced.
The work was completed on Saturday 2nd May 2026.
I rate Wickes and the work done by them in the following way:-
Initial planning and design by Nick Butler 10 out of 10 (5 stars)
Delivery of units 10 out of 10 (5 stars)
Work completed by John Haddon 10 out of 10 (5 stars)

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Tina at Wickes Telford. She's always really helpful whenever I come into the store and always has a positive attitude. She's helped me find things loads of times and has even gone out of her way to check in the back for stock when something wasn't on the shelves.

I had a design appointment with Wickes in Telford TF2 9NH for some kitchen units for my utility, I saw Nick Butler, he was brilliant, he helped me decide what units I wanted, took time to talk through my options and the prices, very friendly, helpful a credit to your store, I don’t think I could have had a better experience anywhere else. Well done. Thank you.

I had a really positive experience at the Telford Wick store thanks to Ryan. From the start, he was friendly, helpful, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed. He pulled together loads of great items for me and made the whole process easy and stress-free. What stood out most was that he didn’t just stop there — he also helped me load everything up at the end, which was massively appreciated. Great customer service is hard to come by sometimes, but Ryan really went above and beyond. Thanks again for all your help!

The service I have received has been excellent. Michelle has been extremely helpful with guiding us through the Community program. Her customer service is great, nothing was too much to ask and her responses were really quick.

I have to sing the praises of Kyle G and Kyle S in the Wickes Telford Branch. Both of these gentlemen showed patience, understanding and professionalism in processing a large order for home delivery, which took time up to and past the store official closing time.
I wish all people I dealt with were as brilliant as these two!

I recently submitted a request to Wickes for a donation of gardening tools for our gardening club, and I was genuinely impressed by the speed and generosity of their response.
Within just an hour, Michelle Phillips got in touch to confirm that the items we had requested would be ready for collection the very next day. The efficiency, professionalism, and willingness to support a community initiative really stood out.
It’s fantastic to see a company that values and actively supports local groups. A big thank you to Michelle and the Wickes team for making this such a smooth and positive experience!

We live in Wolverhampton but specifically drove to the Telford store due to the amazing customer service that we were provided with by Nick. He ended up redesigning our kitchen 3 times over the last 2 years due to changes in plans and circumstances, but each time he had the patience, professionalism and skill to create our perfect kitchen. We have now finalised and purchased our kitchen and we couldn’t be more happy with the service we received with Nick and the kitchen design he has created for us, we couldn’t recommend him anymore.

My design consultant, Richard Hunwick, spent a good period of time introducing the product lines, the merits of each, specifically the differences between the Lifestyle and Bespoke ranges. It was both detailed and undertaken with patience for my particular questioning!! The subsequent design process was both quick and explained throughout, appearing on screen as it progressed, complete with changes as they occurred. There are so many elements, that to the untrained eye, could easily be overlooked. The design process really does need the designers expertise to identify and address. I would have missed so many!!
A good period of grace for returning home, checking and changing mind!! Follow up consultation, again undertaken with patience and professionalism, led to final design and order placed. Coffee was pretty good also!!
