Lewis… Amazing helped me lift doors and helped with anything I asked very good service.

I was greeted by a very lovely lady at the desk, who then asked for assistance to help me in loading cement to the trolley and car.
A lovely gentleman called Nigel cane to offer support. He was very patient, friendly and supportive as I was unable to pick the cement due to a wrist injury. Nigel very kindly even pushed the trolley to my car and loaded the bags in to my car for me with care and detail.

Very helpful, open and transparent about all costs. Very useful for a first time buyer!

Great experience. Delivery was well packed, on time, and efficient. One item was missing from the delivery, but Tina from Wickes Stockport very kindly dropped it off on her way home. Very impressed!

Went into Wickes Stockport to look at garden gates and after choosing a suitable one we enquired about delivery as it wouldn’t fit in our car.We spoke to a colleague called Ellie who talked us through the delivery process and we subsequently purchased a gate and arranged for delivery.Ellie was extremely helpful but we noticed that she was also helping her other colleagues when they needed assistance.She was extremely patient with everyone and she is a credit to Wickes Stockport.It was so nice to experience excellent customer service.

Recently had a bathroom designed by Shaun Terry who was very patient and helpful, I would also like to mention the bathroom contractor who did a fantastic job even though we met some problems on the way , Pawel discussed everything with me before carrying on with the work he is Extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend my design consultant and the bathroom contractor.

Caitlin is very friendly and knowledgeable. She made recommendations based on conversations we had. She was patient at the home visit and meeting on site in Wickes Stockport

Wickes are diabolical.
The show room is beautiful and the staff who helped us set up instillation were fantastic.
However once they sent their contracted installer, it all went belly up. The service was appallingly bad, and there is no accountability.
Customer service bounced us from one member of staff to another for literally months, often weeks on end with no response.
An extremely, extremely stinky and undignified service, with a fairly nice product.
TL:DR buy their stuff and install it yourself.

I fail to see how Wickes gets good reviews if only for the last five years or so they've hiked their prices out of the market, and my latest experience confirms this. Online their hardwood quadrant is priced at £6.70 for 15 x 15 x 2400. Yesterday at the Stockport store I noted the pidgeon hole for the 12 x12 x 2400 quadrant (the size that I require) was £8. I bit my lip and decided to continue with the purchase. I picked out three lengths. At the checkout the girl scanned the code on one of the lengths and said that for eacj=h length the price was £15!!! I complained and she mindlessly said 'they end to get put in the wrong pidgeon hole.' Of course, this is no excuse.

Can't fault Wickes at all, very helpful staff I want to thank Tina especially for all her help with a kitchen we chose, she made it really simple from choosing the product to organising delivery for us 👍

Great service from start to finish can’t fault Caitlin at all 5stars when we wanted to change bits that wasn’t right not a problem at all didn’t rush us to buy and took her time in getting the design of the kitchen right for us thanks you so much

One of the team members 'Jack' who was very helpful today whilst inquiring about a worktop. He gave me a lot of time which was useful as unsure about a few things. This was in the Stockport store.

The Kitchen Designer - Shaun Terry - was excellent.
The Kitchen Installer - Mitch Hall - was excellent.

Their the Customer Service however left a lot to be desired.
It took them over 6 weeks NOT to get a MINOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION WORKS CERTIFICATE sent to me. It took them over 2 weeks to contact the installer to get a loose tap rectified, but only after i complained bitterly at the lack of action. After that the final Agent I contacted took ownership of the problem and expedited it through to it's successful conclusion.

Caitlin from Stockport Wickes helped me to design a fantastic kitchen for my little apartment. I wanted something timeless that will last the next 20 years, but with lots of usability and a little bit of personality too! After a chat about design we moved away from a blue/green kitchen to a mix of oak and neutral colours, picking up on subtle industrial and japandi subtle themes. I can't wait for it to be installed.

We are pleased to share as Wickes customers our experience of ordering an online delivery in the Stockport area. We ordered and paid for 3.6m long treated timber roof battens and hoped they wouldn't be warped or bent for our front of house cladding. They arrived on time in perfect condition. We were so pleased and would not hesitate in recommending Wickes for value, customer care and only a £4 delivery charge 😀👍

Excellent customer service from Caitlin at Stockport branch. Very experienced and knowledgeable and gave really good advice on the design and getting best value for money on our kitchen design. Really good experience with no pressure sales. Highly recommend.

On 20/08/2025 I called at the store to collect an order of sand and cement. However, due to having a procedure on my back, I was unable to do any heavy lifting. Jack came to my assistance, loaded the order onto the trolley, then loaded my order onto my trailer. Please forward my thanks onto him.

Ordering 24 fence panels for delivery. Of course it got busy at the till just as I was getting to do the delivery but Lucy took the time to make sure the order went through fine while I used my vouchers, made sure I got the delivery slot that I wanted and that I got my account set up correctly.
