Millie, absolutely brilliant, what a star, very professional and saved me a few £’s. Seen her dealing with a very awkward customer a few days earlier at the till on a prior visit, she dealt with his issue very well, although l would say he was in the wrong.
If Wickes has an employee recognition scheme, she should be rewarded. No, l am not a family member.

Extremely grateful to Fin for helping me with colour matching and mixing today, I was initially told that there was no one in store who could mix the paints, then Fin saved the day and even helped carry paints to the car. Thank you Fin!

New store layout seems logical and clear and clean with good stock levels. Staff and manager are friendly and helpful and seem to be proud of and enthusiastic about their workplace which engenders confidence that one will receive good customer service. May sales success attend their endeavours.

Spoke to a lovely young gentleman in this store today who helped me work out my flooring measurements. I’m a single mum and haven’t got any DIY experience so this was really helpful. Well done wish I had taken his name to say a personal thank you,asset to this store.Well done young man.

WOW! What a transformation.I have used this store for years but was blown away when I walked in today what a difference, the store looks completely different.Always recieved great service from the staff here was lovely taking to them about the new outdoor garden centre and all the extra products. Great job wickes !!!

Abbie at Wickes Redditch was absolutely amazing from start to finish in the design and supply of our kitchen - we honestly couldn’t have had a more hassle free experience! She has an amazing eye for design ❤️

I came to the Redditch store on Tuesday and I struggled to take the plasterboard to my car, being 72 years old. A lady called Joanne helped me with it to my car who was very lovely and helpful. Thank you!

I came into the store on tuesday and was pleasantly suprised by the new refitted store! It looks fantastic and good to see more stock on the shop floor. Joanne who was on the till was very helpful when i couldnt find something. She is always smiling and lovely to chat to. Will definitely come here again. Thankyou

Excellent design and service. I’ve been getting quotes for my kitchen to be done and working with Mo in the Redditch store has been brilliant. He’s a fantastic designer, listens to what you say and has been extremely genuine and helpful. Far superior to all the other kitchens I’ve been quoted.

Had a kitchen planning meeting with Conrad from wickes Redditch and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He gave good advice and helped us plan our kitchen. Would highly recommend him

I cannot recommend the Team at Wickes Redditch enough for fitting bathrooms. I have had seamless positive experience from start to finish. Abbie, Cat and the rest of Wickes team have designed and installed my new wet room in my property beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble, and Wickes gave me full confidence that the work would be carried out in a high standard. The quality of my new bathroom is superb.

Went into the Redditch branch to order a kitchen and the kitchen designer took our details, discussed what kitchen we wanted, and said he would call in a couple of days to measure up. Two weeks later, still waiting and have now been to Wren in Worcester for our new kitchen. Excellent service, nothing too much trouble. If you are looking for a new kitchen, don't bother with Wickes, just go to Wren.

2 minutes silence for Remembrance Day and the 2 members of staff were stood laughing at check out.

We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen & have had a fantastic experience with Wickes Redditch from start to finish! It began brilliantly with Abbie's enthusiasm & vision - it really made all the difference to us & was what convinced us to go ahead with the project. Nothing was too much trouble for her & we felt confident in her ability to provide an excellent service - which she absolutely did! She was positive, proactive, warm & professional - a real credit to the company! We also couldn't have wished for a better fitter - Jason was fabulous! His attention to detail was fantastic - & as well as being really friendly & respectful, he was also extremely tidy! We wouldn't hesitate in highly recommending him. We also had a lot of contact with the Store Manager, Andy, & he was massively helpful too - really accommodating & kind. We honestly couldn't be happier with the finished product, not to mention all the support & reassurance we received along the way!

Went to look at worktops for a project we are running. Saw a lady called Millie the duty manager on 3 seperate occasions. Brilliant customer service really looked after us and took time to ensure the purchase ran smoothly. Thank you Millie.

I've been going to the Redditch branch of Wickes for 20 years as tradesman and it is my go to place. What is particularly good about this branch compared to others are the staff. Today again served by Joanne who is always a cheery delight. Keep it up.

I wanted to purchase a pole hedge trimmer which was showing 1 in stock at Redditch store, couldn't click and collect so drove out there to get it from Worcester. When I arrived at the store the man on the desk who was chewing gum rather disgusting was asked about whether the item was there and I was told a member of staff would be along to serve us, but after a long wait no one came and no one could find the product which I was then told it was a customer return and no longer available. No apology was offered and it was like they couldn't be bothered, did get quite irate, to be told by a young girl that we aren't very nice,the worst customer service ever from a store, won't shop there again.

We bought a kitchen from Wickes on 2nd March. "We have capacity to get it fitted before the end of April" the designer said. So we went with their fitter, knowing it was probably costing more, but wanting it done ASAP.
We had a call from customer services "I am here to make sure everything goes smoothly with deliveries and design, so you get the kitchen you want on time and to your satisfaction" he said...

Their fitter came to the house, and said he could start on 13th May. We agreed, and were reasonably happy.
At the beginning of April, another fitter rang and said he needed to come and survey the kitchen. He came about ten days after that, saying he was the fitter due to do our kitchen.....? He was as puzzled as we were when we explained we had a fitter already, and he was due to start at on May 13th.
As we have a load of commitments, we started emptying the kitchen slowly, ready for the mid May start.
On 29th April, we had an email from the designer telling us that our original fitter had left the company- THREE WEEKS previously. That must be when they told the second fitter to come and see us! They obviously hadn't told him either, what was happening. The second fitter called us up and told us that now, with our holiday commitments - which we had booked for after it was supposed to be finished!- and his other jobs he had booked in, he couldn't start until the end of June!

Customer services have been utterly useless! We still have had no explanation as to why they failed to tell us for three weeks that the fitter had left, and they had assigned it to someone new. No one answers the phone.

Eventually the second fitter rearranged jobs and arranged to start on 7th June and work around our holiday commitments. He has been wonderful.

But the saga with Wickes continues as they failed to send everything needed for the fit, causing further delays! We have just had a third delivery, of outstanding parts- this time they have sent extras that are not needed!

So here we are at the end of June, and it is still not complete. So much for the "we can fit it before the end of April"!!
Customer services are still dire. Still don't answer the phone. We still haven't received an explanation as to why they didn't inform us- or the new fitter- what was going on, for three weeks, leaving us in the dark and causing great inconvenience.
And no response to the online complaint.

Definitely would not recommend.

I cannot praise Wickes and the team enough. From our first meeting with Abbie Moxon to begin the ideas and design features of our new walk in shower to the completion, the quality and workmanship were superb. Cat and his team have done a faultless job on the fitting of the shower, toilet and hand basin. The tiling is excellent. The crew were always on time and polite. Thank you Wickes, Redditch. I will certainly recommend you and your team.
