Recently visited Peterborough Wickes store and was helped by Sally who was very knowledgable and was extremely helpful with our questions and queries.

The ladies are always really helpful, Sally, Sarah and Pamela. We enjoy shopping at Wickes and can normally get everything we need, which was the case today.

I had an amazing experience at Wickes in Peterborough yesterday. I wanted to set up
A business account and was assisted by Sally who provided wonderful customer service. I wanted to place 2 orders for delivery and again all handled efficiently. Sally is a real credit to Wickes.

Put simply….. every Wickes should have a Colin. What an absolute ambassador for customer service he is. He helped me out in the Peterborough store with my paint order and requirements (Knotted Twine) both over the phone and in the store, and in all instances was sincere and very helpful. Thank you Colin - an absolute gem.

Jason Blunt (Peterborough Store) was brilliant. He helped us from start to finish with choosing our kitchen and then last minute our shower room when we decided to have this done too. He was calm, focussed asked all the right questions which helped us make the best decisions within our budget. He ensured we had great kitchen and bathroom fitters and everything went seamlessly. He wasn’t pushy ( a big turn off for us and stopped us going from a rival showroom). His approach ensured Wicks got the business and we got everything we could wish for. We placed the order in August but chose to have the work completed in January 2026 (could have had it done sooner). A big thank you from us

Andrea was so kind to me helped me find what I needed and also helped with with an issue I had with some paint and Colin was so lovely too, those two are the epitome of customer service, kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and most off all happy.

We had such a fantastic experience at Wickes that I felt compelled to leave a review. What started off as a bit of a nightmare—trying to buy paint while struggling to find the right colours, tin sizes, and stock—quickly turned into a genuinely brilliant visit. Sally went above and beyond to help us, patiently checking stock, finding alternatives, and guiding us through everything with such positivity and care. Her customer service was truly first-class.

Thanks to her, the whole experience went from a solid zero (confused, frustrated, and ready to give up) to a 10—smooth, easy, and actually enjoyable. In a time when help in stores doesn’t always come easily due to staff cutbacks and, frankly, not-so-great attitudes, this was incredibly refreshing. Every member of staff we interacted with was positive, engaging, and genuinely wanted to help.

Huge thanks to Sally and the team—this is exactly the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. 🌟

My sister and I were exploring kitchens, we had the initial viewing and then had the kitchen designed worked up on the computer. The image looked amazing and the team were supporting us to achieve a reasonable price, we were unsure with what we wanted Catherine was so kind and allowed us to change our mind very last minute and gave reassuring advice. The kitchen has now been ordered yayyy.

Popped along to buy some materials and Colin was a great help and very friendly! Thanks again Colin for a lovely customer service!

Very competent and good at her job

We visited to buy tiles for our kitchen, they didn’t have enough in stock but the lady at the till was so helpful. Ordered them on line for us and managed to get a discount for us too. We spent over £500 and were very happy with our purchase.

Went in to go buy paint and Colin & Pav was amazing help me out

Good banter

Pav helped me get a bulky kitchen worktop off the shelf in the Peterborough store, then helped set me up with a Wickes Pro Trade account to get me 10% off on its purchase, then helped me get it into the car. Great staff experience!

Went to the Wickes Peterborough branch today, to enquire about some Dulux paint, I was served by Colin, he was outstanding, what a nice chap and he was very informative

Genuinely Peterborough Wickes are probably the best trade counter business I use, the staff are always pleasant and helpful

Its a great store excellent products great location fab team.
