From the start of the process of having the new kitchen, to the design right through to the fitting, the service was excellent. Neil was very good at helping and recommending what would suit our kitchen. The appliances are excellent. Cabinets are of quality.
And Mark, the installer was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Very professional and well pleased

From the very start of our desire to renovate our kitchen we were placed in the safe hands of Emily Cassidy. The design she drew up for us was above and beyond anything we could have put together. We are extremely grateful to her for all the help she gave us even when we made changes along the way nothing was too much trouble for her. We now have the perfect kitchen of our dreams. Thank you Emily.

So far so good. Emily has been great, even when changing your mind about things. Very efficient, answered any questions we had, we are at the stage of fitting the bathroom, he is very friendly can’t wait to see the finished product

I ordered a Kitchen from Wickes, Long Eaton, Nottingham late 2024. From start to finish the experience was very positive, from helping me choose the right Kitchen units, the design and everything being delivered and the fitting was great. Thanks to Neil Stevens at the store who oversaw the whole design, to fitting to aftercare process. It was great dealing with him, and the fitting lead by Steve was also brilliant. I'm very happy with the result and would recommend the store and team for any kitchen work.

The design process was great, kitchen displays were really helpful and Neil put together exactly what was in my head.

Neil’s professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.

Went into the store yesterday and asked for help to find some paint. The member of staff that I asked was more than helpful and was quick to find what I was looking for. The staff member on the till was also a pleasure to talk to. Unfortunately I didn't catch any names but it was lovely to go into a store with people who were willing to help which made a difference with experiences from some competitors

This store is handy. They have everything you need and being local you don't need to go anywhere else

We have been here several times over the last few months everything from buying timber for the garden to plumbing, electrical to paint. Can't fault it and the pricing ain't too bad either

Recently we went into the store a couple of times over a weekend period

First time (Fri 10th Jan around 5pm) I picked up some soffit vents and got to the till and the male staff member asked me to go take a picture of the barcode as there wasn't one on the actual product. I did inform him they are only 70p but he wasn't having any of it so went to the aisle to try and take a picture however it was blocked off with a rude staff member telling me to wait. I went back to the till and said I don't want these anymore,I'm not messing around. Instead he looks it up online and finds the item and pricing which he could have done beforehand. You can't expect a customer to start running around to the store to take a picture of the barcode when there is plenty of staff around

The second time ( Sat 11th Jan ) i went to wickes to pick up some electrical sockets . I paid and left no issues but then I received a call from a family member as they needed something urgent so went back in straight after

I bought some connector strips at £3 and a chocblock for £1.20
This should have came upto £4.20,However looking at the receipt I was charged double the price totalling £7.20.

Unfortunately I was already at home when I realised I been overcharged

Desiree was so helpful on my last two visits to the longeaton store ..Went out of her way to find the products I needed and even did all the ordering that was needed ..cant thank her enough..have a great christmas to all and thank you Mr Rice

Thank you to Wicks Long Eaton for the wonderful transformation of my Mum's bathroom! From start to finish Wicks took care of everything. From design to install. The old bathroom was completely stripped bare, a wall taken down housing an airing cupboard to make room for a large walk in shower. All wall and floor tiles replaced, sink, radiator, towel radiator and the whole shower unit plumbed in and even a freshly plastered ceiling all in 2 weeks. All the way through the project Neil was available to answer any queries or concerns. Mark who carried out the work was great with my Mum and very respectful, he explained everything he needed to do and kept any disruption to a minimum. Any mess was cleared up at the end of every day and rubbish taken away. My Mum would never had been able to arrange to get all this work done herself and although she was very nervous having so much work done, Wicks took away the unknown and dealt with it all. A very professional team.

Bathroom designed by James Walker-Gurley at Wickes in Long Eaton who was very easy to deal with and accommodating. The process was made very easy for us from start to finish. On the home visit, James put forward ideas that we hadn't thought possible, which made full use of the space available and gave us exactly the look we were after. At the store we were guided through the design and looked at what fittings and finishes were available. The process was very relaxed and we were able to agree on what we wanted. The delivery process was all handled by Wickes and well communicated. Our fitter was Tim Jackson who carried out a survey of the design and told us what would be involved and let us make some final tweaks. A full break down of the costs were provided. The fitting process was completed in two weeks including movement of sewage and water outlets, electrics for repositioned lights, complete replaster and fitting of LVT flooring. The standard of finish was excellent. I would highly recommend Wickes bathroom services.

Amanda (staff) personally helped me order my timber, select alternatives and sorted delivery for quite a complex project. She was so helpful and gave me so much of her time to ensure everything was just right. Quality of timbers brilliant, project now in full swing.

Having a new bathroom and have nothing but praise for the staff at the new Wickes in Long Eaton. Great prices and the staff are so helpful. James Walker-Hurley was so knowledgeable and steered me me straight to everything I needed. Priced it all up and got me a great deal. Really pleased. In an era with so many surly or uninterested retail staff it's refreshing to come across a store where absolutely everyone you come across is so helpful and pleasant. Thank you.
