Wickes - Lincoln Recensioni 

Harry was extremely helpful today in store today and kindly helped me with my items to the car for me. Nothing was too much hard work for him and I was very grateful for his help!

While we are away on holiday in a few weeks time, we are having out kitchen floor titled. We went a few months ago to check out the tiles we decided on which ones we wanted and I took a photo and the details of the tiles required. On the 30 April 2025 we decided that we would go and order the tiles. We have dealt with the Duty Manager at Lincoln on several occasions called Steve and he has always been very helpful and efficient. On arriving in store we found Steve and he helped us complete the order order for the tiles. He also helped me fill out a form for community help. I paid for the tiles and arranged the delivery. It was n't until I checked the e mail order that I realised that I had ordered square tiles and not oblong tiles. On Thursday morning I rang Wickes in Lincoln and spoke to Ayesha. She said that Steve was helping a customer put something on top of his roof rack. Ayesha explained that I would have to ring the main customer services number and organise the refund through them. On completing the cancellation of the order it would then go back to the store for them to carry out the refund. I was on hold at customer services for 15 minutes, listened to 5 bursts of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. It was reassuring to hear "the dance" being interrupted by a friendly voice saying that the my call would soon be answered. The telephoned was answered by Genie. I gave her my order number and she eventually processed the refund. I then received an e mail from Georgina regarding the refund. Luckily I was expecting it and did not delete if as I was expecting an e mail from Genie! About an hour later Steve from the Wickes Lincoln Store telephoned and explained if we called into the store he would process the refund and I could then pay for the correct oblong tiles. We went to the Wickes store in Lincoln and saw Steve who resolved my mistake very quickly. He also pointed out who Ayesha was and wanted to mention her in the compliment too. I must say that all of the staff without exception have a very professional and efficient attitude to providing excellent customer service to us. Another lady we had met on a previous visit was a lady called Millie. I am very proud to use Wickes in Lincoln and know that no query is too small for them to deal with. All of the staff go above and beyond what is expected of them to provide excellent customer service. I'm looking forward to finding a new project in the home so I can go back to Wickes very soon and let the helpful staff give me some more welcome help and advice.

Harry from Lincoln Wickes was a star , I was shopping solo with 3 young children and needed 15 bags of gravel - a staff member loaded them onto a trolly for me , and Harry met me at the till and loaded them into the boot of my car for me and was so lovely it didn't feel like too much of an ask - thank you Harry you're a star !

Went in store to have some paint mixed. I was served by Harry who was friendly, asked which room I was painting and advised on the paint to use, he mixed the paint and asked me to check the colour.
All in all a good service

Had a C&C order, got confirmation email that it is ready for collection in 15 minutes time from the moment I made the order. At the store, Abhishek kindly assisted and I got my order very quickly.
Happy with my purchase. Definitely will come back.

Choosing a kitchen was made very easy and enjoyable experience due predominantly to the consultant Carl Price. He made the process very easy and guided me along with the selection and choice of my kitchen with a very pleasant manner

I visited the Wickes Store on Outer Circle Road, Lincoln this morning, and although I had a rough idea what laminate flooring I wanted, I needed someone knowledgeable who could advise me. A young chap called Rohan was called to help. Honestly, Rohan was so helpful and patient with me ( I am 78 you and wear hearing aids). I know that with his
help, I have purchased the correct Wickes Rosedale laminate flooring with the 48-hour water resistance, etc.. for my hallway. Although I could not afford the underlay and the wood thresholds today , Rohan showed me the Arbiton 2.2mm thick underlay which has the condensation barrier inbuilt ( hallway has a concrete floor) plus, together we discovered that the "Navelli" threshold matches the Rosedale Medium Oak flooring perfectly. When I return I will find Rohan again to help me. He is an asset to Wickes, Lincoln. Thank you Rohan for your kindness.

Andrew at the Lincoln store sorted our emulsion search very quickly. He also sorted some satin coat paint which is not available in store and arranged to get this delivered directly to our house .

We were looking for a new kitchen and met Rob, he was great. He listened to all our needs and wants, he gave us some great advice and guidance to ensure we got the kitchen we wanted. Today we signed and paid for it as the wickes kitchen was the best we had seen for quality and value for money. Thanks Rob for giving us the kitchen we wanted.

Purchased a new bathroom, Rob Kilsby provided excellent advice on the design and products required for the project.

Having the need to return some items (bought too many) but I couldn’t find my receipt. Fortunately I was served by Laura who was a breath of fresh air. Her positive approach & friendly manner in sorting my issue was so welcome. She is a credit to Wicks Lincoln & her attitude & friendly professional manner puts Wicks in a great place to buy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So I ordered some mixed paint, white paint for my skirting board, and anti mould paint, with the lovely help of Harry. He was friendly, patient, and very helpful.

Excellent service yesterday from Harry @ your Lincoln store. I purchased a bag of topsoil & he was kind enough to put it in the car for me. A very friendly & polite member of your staff.

Update on my previous 5 star review of my Bathroom installation. A week after completion we started having issues with drainage. 6 weeks later and 3 flooded bathrooms and staircase later (one raw sewage) I belive .my installer may have fixes the problem but Know one at Wickes is interested in providing me with a refund for £600 worth of Dyno Rod bills and my £14,000 Bathroom is probably worthless after being under water 3 times. Don't waste your money with this company the customer service from the installation department is shocking and the the employees at the shop just pass the book. My AHD little boy is now scared to shower and as a family we are living knightmare!! Stay away and go elsewhere and don't believe them when they say it's hassle free!!!

When entering the Lincoln store I asked for assistance on purchasing 8 bags of pea gravel. A very pleasant assistant called Harry immediately offered his assistance. He loaded all 8 bags onto my trolley, pushed it round to the till , then out to my car and loaded the 8 bags into my car. He then took my trolley away for me. The whole time he was pleasant chatty and chearful.
