Wickes - Glasgow Recensioni 

After visiting many places that sold kitchens. We decided on Wickes. We where offered assistance from Kenny. And everything was organised very quickly and smoothly. Everything was explained throughly. No jargon. And we didn't feel pressured in to buying. Any questions we had or changes made was no hassle. A great experience overall. I would highly recommend.

Your salesman Daryn was extremely helpful. But I must say if it wasn't for myself God knows what my missus would have picked. Thanks Daryn.

We have just ordered our new kitchen from Wickes-Glasgow.
The process was made simple with the help of Daryn Williamson who knows his stuff. I can’t thank Daryn enough for helping us with an awesome design for our kitchen.Great customer service so pleasant and lovely person that went above and beyond to help us in our decision and with no pressure at all.I would recommend him to anyone looking to design their new kitchen

Kenny came across as a very knowledgeable and a helpful gentleman and made the whole process smooth, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout.

After being undecided on my kitchen we were presented with sales rep Kenny from the London Road store.

Kenny provided me and my ever mind changing wife with an experience that would have us returning to wicks every day of the week.

With a wide range of choices on offer Kenny listened intently and helped us make the choices that we didn’t even know existed. Showed us his plan and we instantly fell in love with what we have now in place of our old deterioration kitchen to replace with a modern and right kitchen with more room available than we could have ever imagined.

We would like to thank Kenny personally as he wasn’t only a good sales rep and a credit to wicks he was also a great guy who was never to eager secure the sale.

I had a great experience with wickes, kenny helped me choose my kitchen,my first language isnt english but everything was explained to me well and he helped me with all the info and i am very happy with my purchase.

Went in to exchange a shower seal and was met with a helpful young boy, he asked who I presumed was the manager whether I could exchange it without a receipt , the manager turned grumpily and asked when I bought it I said around 5 weeks ago he said no which was fine. I proceeded to go and look for a replacement seal and brought it back to the young boy who couldn’t be more helpful. I was trying to make sure I got the correct size as the one I had wanted to exchange was too small. The boy measured it and asked the manager the manager if the measurements were correct as it seemed smaller than the one I had , the manager grunted something to the boy and walked into the back shop. The boy looked uncomfortable and I said look never mind I will go elsewhere and see if I can find someone who can help me as his manager was no help at all. Wickes you have to retrain your managers in customer service and teach them how to speak to their customers and staff. Appalling behaviour a few days before Xmas and the store was empty (I’m not surprised ) so no excuse for his offhand behaviour. Well done to the young man who tried to help me, find a better job as your not getting treated properly in there.

The positive parts of our experience with Wickes kitchens were largely from their customer service response time and politeness, including with their designers. Their skill in designing, measuring, delivery and support once the kitchen is in place was awful.

Little did we know, but our design was flawed from the beginning. Our builder - who we'd have been lost without - had made the observation that the measurements on the design were incorrect compared to the actual measurements of the units and end panels. We had excess panels included in our design where they weren't needed and weren't accounted for in the measurements. Our builder spent hours fixing this when installing the kitchen, shaving bits, cutting things down to size so they would fit.
We then had knobs that were twice delayed and no confirmed delivery time because they were coming in from India - news to us, two weeks later. We cancelled the order and went to Howdens for our knobs instead as our builder was also on a timeline.
Our island top was made out of standard countertop material so it didn't actually cover the size of the island. Our builder shaved off some of the units below so it would fit. Then also, as it was a standard countertop, only one of the four sides was curved and no lip over the edge, the other 3 sides were straight edged and flush to the countertops below. None of this was made known to us at design stage. Our builder has suggested further down the line of shopping around and finding a replacement.
We found out that the end panels and cornices are laminate white with a spray paint on when our builder used the yellow delicate frog paint tap over the end panels to protect them from him painting a neighbouring internal house door, only to peel off the tape and take some of the panel's paint too when finished. The pre-made-delivered panel! This was such bad quality, we couldn't believe it.
We also received a 3m splashback that wasn't part of our order and when we notified them of this issue, they said they couldn't take it back. So some poor customer out there was without their 3m splashback.

Our builder spent so much time on fixing the Wickes kitchen that it cost us hundreds in additional labour cost.

Do not go with Wickes.

Had a couple of small hiccups but Kenny our design consultant at Wickes London Road Glasgow was really helpful and looked after us the whole way through. Can’t praise him enough.

Scott C working at the London Road Glasgow branch was super helpful during our last visit.
He was polite and courteous and went out of his way to explain in detail, our options for flooring costs and colour match for sealant etc. This demonstrated an in depth knowledge of his product range within the store, full marks Wickes!

Kenny in the Glasgow store was very knowledgeable about the products and was patient and understanding with us to make sure we had the right products after a few changes we got what suited our needs

From start to finish this process has been very easy through wicks . Very lucky to get fitters Tom and Scott , amazing finish to the whole thing . Perfection and great communication . Would highly recommend

I had a problem returning a can of paint due to a clerical mix up. The manager Alison sorted it all out and I was able to head home and get back to work that day. A distressing time turned into a great relief, and I'll be Visiting Wickes more. I've stopped buying a lot of supplies online now, here is better!

Great experience when designing and ordering our new kitchen with Daryn Williamson at the Glasgow branch. Very professional and helpful with good suggestions. Looking forward to it arriving.

Terri was friendly, knew her stuff and answered all my questions knowledgeably. She had an empathy with me on what I wanted.

Ordered 2 items and Wickes could only supply 1. When I ordered the 2 items the monies where taken off my account instantly, after being told that 1 item could not be supplied and would get a refund, i have to wait at least 3 weeks for the monies to go back into my account, this is not right you can take the monies in seconds but have to wait 3 weeks to get back!!. I have to source the materials elsewhere and pay for it so i'am out the monies twice

We had a appointment with Daryn in London rd Glasgow to help design and choose a kitchen
After being at other suppliers and coming away even more confused than before we went it we weren’t sure what to expect
He was great he took the time to find out what I needed and didn’t need in my kitchen he explained the difference between the range of kitchen and worktops and have loads of advice on what could work together
Nothing was too much trouble he was very patient till we got the right kitchen
We loved the kitchen he help us design and pick that we have placed a order
Highly recommend anyone looking for a kitchen should go and see him
