Really great service, buying heavy bark and compost bags, the manager helpfully got it all together for us while we paid and brought to our car. Thank you!

Apologies if this is not Wickes fault but I just had a city sprint delivery man be most unhelpful. 3 packs of vinal flooring dropped off outside my stair entrance because "its against company policy to climb stairs!" I am 1st floor with 15 steps straight up & those boxes are very heavy. Thank goodness it was not raining & I wasnt getting a kitchen delivered!! I think this needs made very clear at purchase that delivery does not mean door to door. Never again using Wickes delivery.

When we went into the shop we could not see what we wanted and asked an assistant for help. Raj was just there a week but went out of his way to help by getting information and putting us in touch with the store manager Bob. All the staff were extremely helpful and prepared to give us time to help us decide what to purchase.

Ordered a Keter  Darwin Storage Shed - 6 x 4ft on the 26.03.26. Arrived on schedule, however, there was only one driver and it was supposed to be delivered with a two man crew!  I had to struggle to get the shed from the van into my front garden as there was no way this was a one man job at 65kg and the awkwardness of the package. This is quite shocking!

Unfortunately there was extensive damage to the shed and the external packaging (on bottom so wasn't aware at time of delivery). Surprised this was shipped out like that.

A second shed was sent and again only one person delivered it despite me highlighting this issue previously!

Anyway, I discovered a flaw (crack) on one of the roof end pieces which actually snapped off when it was screwed in position.   I highlighted the problem to customer services on the 8th April, sending pictures showing the damage in an attempt to get a resolution. A customer services person chased this up over a number of days attempting to contact the Edinburgh store (multiple times) with no success. By the 11/04/26 she had given up with a parting comment "can I help with anything else". Lost for words!

On the 14/04/26 I wanted this escalated as a complaint and since then I've heard nothing. 

I'm at the stage now where I want the shed removed (fully built) and a full refund unless I'm given a suitable resolution.

On the back of a previous Trustpilot review, a Customer Service advisor contacted me on the 16th April and wanted to look into the matter and resolve it in her words: "within 24 to 72 hours but usually quicker". Here we are on the 24th April, 8 days later (192 hours) and still no resolution.

In parallel, I've been having email exchanges with customer services for two weeks now to try and resolve the issue. I keep getting the message that no one in the Edinburgh Branch is answering their phones. Unbelievable!

Unless I receive a suitable solution very soon, I am raising a dispute under the consumer rights act (2015).

A big shout-out to Bob, store manager in Edinburgh, for his fantastic help loading my car with around 25 bags of soil/compost/manure. I ordered via click and collect and didn’t have to wait long at all before getting the notification that everything was ready.

Bob was prepared when I arrived and quickly helped me get everything into my car. He also pointed out that some opened bags were available at a reduced price, which meant I could pick up even more.

Thanks again for your help and for making the whole experience so smooth and hassle-free!

I bought a new kitchen from Wickes Edinburgh for my small tenement flat. I was very impressed by how my designer was able to optimise the use of the (very limited) available space. The installer's knowledge and workmanship were excellent, and communication was very good throughout.

Just had a kitchen designed& installed .
