Wickes - Dudley Recensioni 

Today I came into Brierley Hull store to find some kick board kitchen clips which apparently can’t be brought separately.

On asking a member of staff SAM and can I say an absolute life saver , he took the time to review the returns and sell off items and found me 3 clips I have desperately been looking for , it’s not everyday you find professionals and polite people but SAM was a pleasure to interact with and helped me more than you can ever now as something this simple is a game changer and I’m no trader just a guy building his own kitchen and having spent a small furring in your store over the last 6 months, but all credit to all of your says who have served me as ALL have been as polite and professional as SAM today, if I see him in a pub one day a pint a shall buy to say thank you.

Commissioned Wickes to re-do out bathroom from scratch. Numerous small snags added up; 1) Delays with fitter who also only did 1 full day, leaving after 2 hours once. 2) All 5 separate deliveries went to our old address causing distress to us and the new owner. 3) I had to seal behind the toilet and between the bath and sink, which required new sealant and special plastic piping to allow the cradle gun to reach between the gap. 4) I was not told of the extra £300 for plywood underneath the LVT flooring. 5) Finishing of the splashwall around the sink was poor - flat edges rather than bevelled, and I have to re-seal as cut too short. 6) They lost my complaint and I had to chase it and persevere taking around circa 2/3 months only to receive an offer of £50 compensation - an absolute joke of an offer for what was a £6k bathroom littered with errors and issues. Won't be using again!

Post the below Wickes reply, they continued to offer the dismal £50 only, not taking anything I said seriously and clearly being happy with this very poor service. I won't be using again (11/09/26).

Spoke to a gentleman who pointed me in the direction of wall plugs and paint samples, said he would get one of the lads to come and find me. Christian came to help, nothing was too much trouble - would definitely look to find him again should I need any assistance next time!

I rang the store and spoke to Tracey and Mark who were very helpful. They even went the extra mile to reserve the door in the click and collect area until I arrived at the store.

Hi, I came on Friday afternoon, I was looking for paint gloss and I picked up mixing colour tin. Took to the till , just about to pay and the lady on till noticed, picked wrong one and explained it’s only base in there. Direct me right place and got right one!!! This is the second time we have purchased kitchen items from wickes at Dudley. The kitchen was planned by Petra Tapako 8 years ago.
To make the kitchen suitable to our current needs we returned to Wickes Dudley, again Petra helped us.
The kitchen plan was still available which was amazing and made the whole process so much easier.
We are absolutely delighted with the service at Wickes Dudley store. Best of all thrilled with our kitchen.

Popped in today spoke to a lad named Christian who was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.will definitely look for him next time.

I am a regular customer to this dudley branch. Very rare it doesn't stock my plaster materials. The Staff also are super friendly and very helpful. Christian often asks how my work is going and did you find all materials needed for that job.

Kerry was incredibly helpful and friendly! I needed a paint colour that only came in the ‘kitchen’ range, she kindly colour matched it to a standard matt emulsion for me. Excellent customer service.

I came in Wicks’s Dudley store and store assistant Christian came to me seeing I was needing advice about products he was very helpful and professional and I gave him £267 order and he made me very comfortable in your store. This store assistant has helped me in the past as well and he’s very confident within his job role. I always feel welcome when I come to Wicks’s and I’m about to order a new kitchen and bathroom because your team at Wicks is also so professional.

I had a really positive experience with Christian at the Dudley branch. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was explained clearly. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and his professionalism made the whole experience really easy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend Christian and the Dudley branch!
