Excellent service today from Craig the Store Manager who dealt with my refund quickly and effectively. Very pleased.

A loverly member staff named Lucy.C helped me to open a trade account in store, she was very polite and helpful including assisting me with loading my van. Because of her, I spent £1200 in store.👏🏼

I can into your store on Sunday i wasn't really sure on the colour the gentleman was really helpful and helped me choose the right colour i thought i would put this on paper because sometimes the staff do not get the credit 👏🏼

Staff and manager really helpfull whilst we were refurbishing our scout hut can’t thank them enough.

Purchased some flooring for delivery , really simple and quick process

Ruth from the Coventry store was very helpful and knowledgeable of her products and helped design our dream bathroom, We cannot wait to see the final vision come to life.

Wickes we're quick to deliver items but I wanted to return something that needed to go back to their warehouse. Wickes customer services have been less than useless. On 14th March from 7am-7pm I waited for xdp all day. I was at the front of my house having a smoke when a blue van pulled up, waited 10 minutes then left. Found out via customer services that the driver had taken a photo of my front door and stated nothing to collect. Rearranged collection for 24th March 2025 and XDP did not show up. Don't bank on XDP customer services either. They're also useless as they just refer you back to wickes to rebook another collection.

Bought some timber on Saturday 15 Feb 25. Bought rough sawn instead of planed so returned it this morning 17 Feb in order to exchange it and I was made to feel as if I was dishonest in bringing it back! I told the guy on the help desk that I had not been given a receipt and was told ‘well did you ask for one’ I had proof of purchase on my phone but he wasn’t interested although in the end he did give me a refund.
Went to the timber aisle to get the right stuff and there were no loose ones available so I walked round into the next aisle where 3 members of staff were talking and asked if someone could open a pack for me as I didn’t have anything to cut the strapping with! They all looked at me as if I’d come from the moon!! Eventually one of them said ‘where is it’ and came to cut it!! The timber turned out to be warped so it was difficult to find 3 length that were reasonable,
All in all the customer service leaves an awful lot to be
desired and so in future I shall not be going to Wickes in Coventry again!!

Just had my bathroom refitted through wickes,Rosey the designer at coventry was fantastic from the first meeting fulfilling my needs to the end. Mark my installer, Richard my electrician, Steve the plasterer all did a super job highly recommended them.Thanks to everyone concerned.

Everytime I visit the Coventry store it reminds me why I’ve looked for alternative suppliers. The friendly helpful service you used to get here has long since dissipated. Today after waiting at the counter to be served eventually another till was opened. The lady that served was so abrupt, verging on rude. Unfortunately this is the general rule rather than the exception. I won’t be returning again in a hurry unless I’m really desperate.

We bought a new kitchen at Wickes Coventry and my husband is fitting it himself. The kitchen is lovely but we had some products ordered in excess wich Wickes won’t accept back even though it is still in the original box, untouched and not made to measure. These products add up to £400 and now we are just stuck with it because it wasn’t ordered properly. Wickes won’t offer any other solutions either so I would NOT recommend Wickes.

Ruth at Wickes Radford Coventry was fab she was able to interpretate exactly what we wanted from a kitchen and put it
into a plan and then resolve any potential issues that may occur we have been extremely impressed with her efficiency, planning and knowledge
So we booked our kitchen and the next week customer service rang to book the delivery.
The person dealing with this was extremely thorough detailed and helpful so hopefully the great customer service continues

The staff and the designer where very kind and supportive, the designer went through every detail of what the kichen would look like on completion of fixtures and fittings

Ruth as designer was patient and informative, slight changes were accommodated and nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and skilled with the measurements and the computer aided design. Ruth took time to visit before and after. Dave our installer was brilliant kept in the loop at all stages and kept to his deadline. Thanks both. Michelle & Kieran.

Ruth the kitchen designer at Coventry was excellent. Our existing kitchen was cramped and badly laid out. Working with Ruth she redesigned it into a spacious modern kitchen which we love.
Ruth also provided excellent customer services. She was always happy to discuss ideas and helped resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.

I went to Wickes Coventry yesterday morning. I needed help and a staff member called Anita, was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. She was so friendly and helpful, and got me sorted with everything I needed in a matter of minutes; first class customer service, thanks so much!
Management, please give her the credit she deserves, she's brilliant!

Just bought a kitchen with help from Ruth in the Coventry store.
We bounced around a few ideas and Ruth was really helpful and mega efficient.
A really good experience.

Ruth was incredible from our first meeting through to coming and checking everything was as she had meticulously planned it. From pondering over floors to splash backs to colour combinations, nothing was too much trouble, she was patient and professional throughout. My every want and need catered for. All credit to the fitters Gary and Ryan who worked in a super tidy and methodical way, answering random daily questions with a smile and confidence!

We had our bathroom refitted through Wickes. Ruth at Coventry was fantastic from the first meeting, taking the time to understand our needs and talk us through our options. We had been to 3 other major retailers previously and the experience with Ruth was by far the best.

The bathroom took just over a week to fit through Wickes recommended fitters. The finish was great and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the products and the design.

The only negative which took it to 4 stars was that the system that syncs up delivery of goods and the date of fitting seems flawed, so I would recommend phoning a few days ahead of fitting just to make sure everything is on the way. Having said that, everyone we spoke to at Wickes went above and beyond to get what we needed on time and deal with unavoidable hiccups. And although a little stressful at times the whole thing went through fine thanks to the team. They all deserve 5 stars.

We had our kitchen completely renovated in the July/August 2024. Essentially Wickes project managed everything for us, from the initial new kitchen design (big thank you to Ruth - Wickes design consultant at the Coventry branch) through to the very end where Ruth visited our house to take a look at our new kitchen, and make sure that everything was ok etc.

Wickes were excellent when it came to advising what choices we had in the way of cabinets, appliances etc that suited our kitchen.

The project consisted of removing our old kitchen completely, a lot of electrical work, re-plastering, plumbing, and then installing the new kitchen supplied by Wickes. This took 3 weeks approx. All the way through Ruth at Coventry and Debbie at the Customer Experience centre were liaising with us to make sure that everything was moving along to our satisfaction-which it was. The kitchen installers did a super job and we are very pleased with our new kitchen. Thank you to all concerned. Great job all round.

FYI the date of experience below (16th July 2024) is the date the work started on the kitchen. The kitchen design was completed a few weeks before this. The work was completed approx 3 weeks after 16th July.
