Nicky was incredible her service and customer care was second to none. Helped me find exactly what I need and put me in the right place for future items at the store
Pay rise needed

I called in today 6th July to the Cirencester store to buy a tin of Briwax and a cheap paintbrush. At the checkout I paid £20.75 at 13.37 and was asked if I wanted a receipt. It seemed like a simple purchase so I declined.
It transpires that Briwax comes in different colours and I needed "Clear" but had bought "Light brown" so I returned to the store expecting to be able to do a simple exchange. The till assistant called her supervisor who called his manager - all said "no receipt no exchange". I ended up paying a further £17 for the right colour wax at 1516 - about an hour and a half from my first visit.
If you are to adopt such an intransigent policy which I assume is driven by Stockkeeping concerns and certainly not customer service would it be an idea to make sure customers are encouraged to understand the risk they take in trading with you? And I do not think some sort of mealy mouthed reliance on a sign in the store is good enough

Marie is always happy and smiley, fantastic service every time we go in.

We contacted Wickes as a small school needing help with decorating our hall. They were able to donate paint and a roller, which we collected from the store. The whole process was really simple and the children enjoyed visiting the store to collect the paint! We are so grateful to Marie and the team!

I visited wickes in Cirencester earlier today but couldn’t find what I was looking for only person I could find to help was the lady on the till I believe her name was Marie and very helpful she was to. She knew exactly where everything I needed was

Customer service was fantastic! Lonnie from the Cirencester store went above and beyond. He helped us find everything we needed, making us laugh with such a kind, chatty manner. I wish every shop had their own Lonnie.

Having had a very poor customer service experience at Wickes (Cirencester) so far this year, today, I was helped by Gage - who was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly, helpful and upbeat. Many other staff members would benefit from adopting a similar customer service approach. I have given a 5 stars based on today’s experience, but based on previous experiences it would be at the opposite end of the scale.

I would like to say a big thanks to wickes’s staff especially Gage. I was unable to put items on trolley or in car after having a hand operation. Gage was so helpful making sure I have everything I needed, putting everything in car very neatly and checking I was ok and that I had someone the other end to help. Thanks for all your help. A very lovely polite young gentleman. A credit to Wickes. Rebecca

My husband and I run a property maintenance business. Every week we use rhis store to get materials needed for
various jobs. Marie at the Cirencester branch is always helpful and friendly, making sure we're aware of any offers etc. We use this branch because of the service we receive particularly from Marie. Please let her know how much her service is appreciated 👏

I go to Wickes in Cirencester on a regular basis. Marie is always happy, helpful and makes my visit an enjoyable experience.

What a joy it is shopping at Wickes Cirencester. Everyone is so helpful especially as I am NOT a diy expert but Gage was on hand to guide me through the store in a patient and expert way.He is a real asset to the store I look forward to returning

Excellent customer service. Not just on this visit but every time I visit the Cirencester branch. Marie in particular is an asset to wickes and has assisted me on numerous occasions to ensure I find exactly what I am looking for.

Marie made my experience great she goes above and beyond every time without fail, hiring Marie was the best thing that ever happened to this store she's a gem the lady could run the store on her own with a smile, everyone should take a Marie happy class.
