Doing a decorating project and wasn’t sure what paint to buy. A member of staff was very helpful and helped me get everything I needed. Really happy with the service and will definitely shop here again.

I recently called in to Wickes Chesterfield to buy some laminate flooring. I will be honest, I didn’t have the first clue of how many packs I would need and was a little hesitant to ask as didn’t want to be a pain! My worries were soon forgotten when a lovely gentleman asked if I needed any help and gave me advice on how many packs I would need. He helped me load them onto my trolley and took me to the checkout. Once I had paid for my items the gentleman then helped me to take these to my car. This was first class service and I would highly recommend. I look forward to returning to Wickes Chesterfield in the future for my next home project.

Walked into wickes with ideas put at ease straight away by design consultant Lesley with every step,measuring up,choosing the kitchen and our budget,delivery date and fitting the kitchen all smoothly undertaken professional beautiful job.absolutely adore my kitchen!Thankyou Wickes.

I went into store and straight away welcomed by a lovely member of staff who’s name was Sophie.
She was doing some charity work for the shop and I ended up spending £20 on paint with her.
She also helped me set up my trade account and reserve some doors.
The whole experience was really positive and really easy.
Sophie is a credit to the team!!!

Good availability, store tidy, didnt have to wait to be served at till.

Avoid buying a kitchen from this company. They have taken 155 days to complete the delivery of a £25k kitchen. In that time we have been sent wrong or damaged parts. Promised delivery days have not happened and then parts have turned up unexpectedly. All piecemeal. Impossible to get through on the phone so you resort to emails which take days to get a response. They then offered a paltry amount of goodwill which did not even cover the extra fitting costs i incurred through multiple revisits never mind the fact our kitchen was 5 months late being finished.

Following this review the CEO of wickes did get in touch directly with me which was good of him. He called me to apologise and arranged with him team that I got a suitable amount of compensation. So he gets kudos for sorting out a bad situation which restores your faith.

I originally gave them 1 star but have amended after he took action to retrieve the situation

Went in with a mistaken order purchased online wanted to swap for the correct item received abuse and insults from the lady behind the till

Julian (kitchen & Bathroom designer) made our journey stress free with the knowledge he gave us when designing our kitchen and also the person he got to install (Andy). Everything from start to finish was amazing I would definitely go back for when we want our Bathroom upgraded.

Kitchen replacement

Worst workmanship, customer service and general attitude i have ever experienced.
Even failed to send the miserly compensation that they offered.
NEVER again!!!!

Cashier offered a carry to car service and a pleasant young man did all the lifting and shifting,both a credit to the Chesterfield store.

Our first choice for building materials , is Wickes .
We find the Wickes Store in CHESTERFIELD, to be very good value.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
They stock a wide range of products.

We contacted Wickes to see if they would help support with some materials for re-developing our school grounds. Sophie was so quick to respond and offered to support with some materials for our planters, which have made a fantastic area for our mud kitchen, which is used all year round. We're very grateful to Wickes and their community fund, thank you!

Wickes provided Wingerworth Community Festival Group with a voucher to spend in store. We bought materials needed to mark out the pitches and setup the site for the annual Wingerworth Fun Day. We also bought wood and paint for a local artist to make a cut-out for the event. We are very grateful to Wickes and Sophie was very helpful. The Fun Day brings the wide community together and allows local voluntary organisations/ clubs and charities to promote themselves, fund-raise, gain new members and volunteers to run them, as well as helping people to feel part of the community and improve mental health and well-being. Thank you so much.

Really friendly and helpful staff, even suggested alternatives and located the items carrying the heavy items outside. The products were of a higher quality than we needed which made the experience even better. We have since recommended the Chesterfield branch to others.

The chesterfield branch provided funding for some benches for the children’s allotment plot, Sophie was so helpful and came to visit to see the end result.

Wickes provided us with a charity donation for our plot at a Community Garden. it enabled us to turn an overgrown patch into a beautiful are where we grew flowers, fruit & vegetables. It was greatly enjoyed by all involved. Thank you so much
