Ian was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when I visited the Catford Wickes store. He took the time to help me find exactly what I needed and gave great advice. Really friendly and professional — excellent customer service!

Went to this Wickes store in Catford by chance and needed assistance. Without hesitation I was served by Mags; assisted by Levi who was very knowledgeable and guided me with the correct items I needed. Ben assisted me with valuable advice about my order and delivery details to completion. Received our delivery the next day; again the delivery driver was very friendly polite and assisted with the delivery. The customer experience I received from the whole team collectively will see me return for future purchases.

The Wickes delivery service is one of the greatest bargains out there in the new world of having everything coming to your door. We had 20 sacks of garden compost delivered for just £4! I could even have chosen next day delivery for the same price. When it arrived it was loaded carefully, quickly and tidily to my front garden. So good we did the same again a week later!!

My order and delivery from Wickes of Catford, were excellent. They came early, unloaded in the space I cleared in front of my house and were done in a matter of minutes. Great service on both occasions and I’ll be ordering from them again because of this.

Great product, bought good quality manure really cheaply. Used in my garden with good results for my plants and vegetables

My wife and I went into Wickes Catford needing two items to repair our bathroom taps and bathroom light. But we’re not especially DIY-savvy and couldn’t find the products we were looking for. Milton, however, went the extra mile, helping us to locate the items and work out the correct sizes. He was warm, helpful and gracious and we really appreciated his assistance. Absolutely first-class customer service. Thank you!

I came into your store and was looking a little lost and a lovely helpful lady called Margarita came to my rescue. She helped me find what I was looking for. She was very friendly and knowledgeable wish more staff in shops are like her .

I had an excellent experience at Wickes yesterday thanks to Raeesah. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure I found exactly what I needed. Nothing felt rushed — they took the time to explain the options clearly and even gave me some really useful advice for my project. Their professionalism and friendly approach made the whole visit stress-free. It’s rare to come across staff who genuinely care about customers, but Raeesah definitely does. Highly recommend speaking to them if you’re in store!

Very happy with delivery service - 20 heavy paving slabs - delivered exactly when they said. Glad I didn't have to transport them in my own car. £4.00 delivery charge was what it would have cost me in petrol.

I wish Wickes didn't charge for the deliveries beyond a certain value of purchase. Otherwise it would have been a 5-star

Easy to order, delivery was helpful, delivery staff placed my products in my garden for me, very helpful and polite.phone call before delivery let's you know when they should be there. Super service

I would recommend George at Catford if you are looking for a kitchen or bathroom renovation. He sat us down discussed our options around kitchen range we would like gave us an idea of cost. Then designed it .We were so happy with the design although it was a bit more than George suggested we still brought it

I arranged a home visit to my property in Peckham to discuss the renovation of my bathroom. The Design Consultant at the Catford branch of Wickes contacted me the day before the appointment.

Surprisingly, I was told the minimum spend would be £5,000+, excluding installation.

I found myself disappointed and unable to proceed with the appointment, as a decision had already been made as to the costs without the designer visiting my property, and considering the size of my bathroom (small), the materials required for the work and the design I had envisaged.

If Wickes' practice is to have a fixed price already in mind before viewing their customers’ homes, this does not bode well for future customers inclined to use their services.

Had the appointment gone ahead and I was happy with the outcome of the visit, I may have retained Wickes’ services for the renovation of my kitchen.

Missed opportunity by Wickes.

I’ve ordered Cotswold chipping gravel bags for the garden from Wickes twice this summer and great delivery & product both times. Exactly what I needed thank you!

I have had 12 deliveries of heavy goods over a 5 week period and every one of them has been very quick and very efficient.

The blokes that delivered the wood were nice enough, however they only delivered 7/8 items before heading off. Called Wickes customer service straight away, after ten mins they picked up, informed me that that will send a replacement. Over two weeks later I am still waiting for this…
