Wickes - Bolton Recensioni 

The part where they design and organise your new kitchen is great and simple, but after that, the problems started.
The kitchen fitting was set for 12 weeks after purchase, then got delayed with less than one week notice by a further 10 weeks, and I had to chase them for 3 weeks with NO return phone calls from Custom Services about what was happening. Anything that went wrong was my problem to deal with, and they were awful at keeping in touch. This may not be the customer services team's fault, but it sounded like the people above them were not helping - regardless, it very much became my problem to deal with.
My project co-ordinator moved stores, and the ones who took over had absolutely no interest in helping me, offering me no support whatsoever when I approached them about issues or problems.
When it got to the level of a complaint, I registered it with Wickes through their complaints system but it petered out and I heard nothing from them.
Finally at the end stages of the kitchen fitting, they advised that plastering and painting the walls had not been included in my quote - a quote that went up by over £2000 from when the fitter first stopped by for a visit - and it was not their problem that I had been led to believe this was included, despite the original sales person pitching everything as a complete package.
While what work has been done seems fine so far, albeit late, I would not recommend dealing with Wickes and would go elsewhere given hindsight. They don't help with problems, they shrug as soon as they have your money, and their complaints procedure is designed to be as off-putting as possible.

Bad installation.

How is Wickes Bolton scoring a 4.5? What is this based on.

I had a new batnroom installed that took over 6 months from taking deposit to start the project.

Then project was completed late Dec 25, with-
1- Radiator not properly screwed to the wall,
2. Sharp metal sticking up at the bathroom door
3. Gap between bath and wall resukting in water leaking into the kitchen

4. Toilet sit slated to the left

After a long backwards and forwards with the warranty team, all but the toilet sit was fixed.

The slant is now getting progressively worse and still unable to get anyone from Wickes to come resolve this.

Final insult was an offer of £100 to close the case which I wrote back to disagree with.

The 4.5 is either bots or farmed!!!

We have recently undergone a big house project including an extension & complete new kitchen.
Adam McNamara from the Bolton branch was outstanding and made our Wickes experience seamless. He designed the perfect kitchen for our new extension.
Adam’s knowledge and design skills are unbeatable and he is professional with a great personal touch. His passion and energy was inspiring and he came up with ideas we hadn’t considered.
From start to finish every detail was discussed and followed up.
We cannot thank Adam enough for the perfect kitchen for our home and would thoroughly recommend him.

We have recently purchased a new fitted kitchen through the Bolton branch. The experience from start to finish was excellent and we could not fault the service. Jenny D was amazing to deal with and designed the perfect kitchen for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the process smooth and uncomplicated. We were impressed with the service and would be more than happy to recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a new kitchen. We are now looking forward to seeing our new duck egg kitchen take shape and come to life over the upcoming weeks.

We had an amazing experience with Jenny D from the Bolton store! Jenny let us look around the store before sitting down with us to discuss our ideas and what we were looking for. She then visited the house and asked more questions and explained the process very well. She created an extremely detailed plan which we then tailored to our needs. Her level of detail and personal care was absolutely sensational! At no point during the entire process did we feel rushed to make a decision, she never pushed us on price or a hard sell. She was extremely open, honest, patient and kind. She tailored everything to our own personal taste and need again never pushing for a sale even in the initial stages. Unlike other big name kitchen companies we felt extremely looked after by Wickes especially Jenny D in Bolton. I would highly recommend.

What another positive experience we have with Wickes at Bolton. We had a kitchen from here 16 years ago so was the logical choice for a new bathroom.
We were taken care of in a friendly and professional manner by Jennifer Dooley from the start.
Jennifer's helpful and proactive attitude made the process both interesting and enjoyable. We were able to navigate through the planning stage in a casual but productive way and she ensured we never felt overwhelmed with the many options we could pursue.
We are looking forward to our new bathroom with the knowledge everything has been thoroughly discussed in a style that completely met our needs.
The whole process has exceeded our expectations and Jennifer's input and guidance is a real asset to the Wickes store.

Jenny D at the Bolton branch was very helpful throughout the entirety of the designing process and beyond. We designed a kitchen with her and she was very patient in taking all of our ideas in to consideration and designed our perfect kitchen in a short space of time.

Recently purchased a kitchen from the Bolton store with Adam m who was absolutely amazing helping us with our design he made the process so smooth that it literally took us an appointment to our home for the measurements which was done late evening meaning no time off work. Then another appointment in store planning and picking. Within an hour and half the full kitchen was picked, planned, ordered and payed for. Can’t thank you enough for taking away all the stress and helping us with decisions 😃 definitely recommend!! Will leave another review once fitted 👍 oh not to mention getting a bespoke kitchen half the price 😮 with all the discounts on atm 🙌

Adam arrived on time and was very professional and courteous, we explained what we wanted for our new kitchen and at the end he had remembered every detail we had spoken about. He also had great suggestions and alternative ideas for the design that made it even better. Brilliant service, couldn't recommend enough and excited to continue. Thanks!

Purchased a few items online. When I received the order, 2 of the items were wrong. After contacting customer services online I received a call from the Bolton branch who apologised and explained that what i originally ordered had gone out of stock so they sent a replacement product, but they sent the wrong product. An immediate replacement was delivered and collection of the wrong product. Excellent customer services and super fast service. Thank you.

Had our bathroom installed by Wickes Bolton recently and am so so happy with our new bathroom.

Easy to book online, an in store kitchen consultation. Jenny D at Bolton was friendly and so helpful!! She knew how to listen to what we wanted but also advise when we didn’t have a clue, she is very knowledgeable of kitchen design. Absolutely recommend her to help you plan the most important room in your home.

We had a lovely experience with Jenny based at the Bolton branch. From start to finish we had top communication. She took on board everything we wanted to input into our mini kitchen Reno. Which is just a spruce up for selling on. She managed to get us some amazing deals with appliances and really thought out the box with designs. She mocked up 5 designs and all of them has aspects we loved but 1 just really stood out. I would highly recommend using Wickes and we will definitely be considering other projects through Wickes.
